Quote:Super Jump or Zero-G pack worked better for me than Combat Jumping.Instead of Speed Boost, have your friendly Kineticist cast Inertial Reduction instead. I find that makes a bigger difference than Speed Boost. Combat Jumping is the single best power you can have for this, of course. The Ninja Run power ought to be pretty handy for this, too, though I've not specifically tested it.

Quote:^ Thislevel 10-14 bronze rolls can give kismet Acc, Steadfast protection -kb, and +def, karma -kb, regen tissue +regen, various Eradication and Basilisk's Gaze and a couple others that also sell well. Bronze 10-14 has the best ratio of good drops vs bad, however you need to roll alot of tickets which means cleaning out your inventory often while rolling.
Also Blessing of the Zephyr: Speed -
Quote:I don't think that bringing 30's here is a valid argument against fixing KHTF. Techically, group of 45s can start STF, and if they can make it to the last mission they will be pitted against +9 AVs. Using your logic, it should be nerfed too.Well you're also talking about a TF that's been nerfed down to something in the neighborhood of negative five merits. Asking a group of 30's to fight a +7 EB is a bit much. Even SK'ed up.

While this bug was introduced with i15, this thread http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=205420 made me post it now. It looks like devs weren't aware about LGTF bug, so it made me think they aren't aware about KHTF bug as well.
Pre i15, on heroic difficulty, Mary MacComber would spawn at level 34 on 1st wave and reach level 37 by 10th wave. Post i15 she spawns at level 34 on all waves. Coupled with i15's +5 levels powers, that 1st mission became completely trivial. -

Quote:Widow's "Mask Presense" is getting 2/3 of defense suppressed. In general, 1/2 of the Defense from stealth powers suppresses. So it goes from 3.75% to 1.88%.
This varies by AT, though. A Tanker would get more Defense from a stealth power since his Defense modifier is higher. The idea that it is halved is pretty consistent, though.
One big exception is Stalker AoE Defense, which drops from 37.5% to 3.75% with Hide. This seems to be an inherent attribute of the Stalker. (It protects them from "splash damage" aimed at the tank while they set up their Assassin Strike) -

I'm usually not paying attention, but I got the following Boss drops:
Numina++ on last mission of LGTF.
LotG 7.5 level50 drop from Rom on ITF.
LotG 7.5 level29 drop from Warrior boss in Sirens
couple stealth IOs, don't remember where. -

Quote:It is probably just your perception.I found it worse than the PP Stealth or even a Stealth IO. Until I paired it with SS, I never felt like I was hidden at all.
Mask Presence - 40 ft
PP Stealth - 35 ft
Stealth IO - 30 ft
On another hand, standard perceptions for Minions/Lts/Bosses+: 45/50/54 ft.
So, with any of forms of concealment above, unless paired, you will be visible to the foes from some distance.
There are some exceptions though:
Rikti Drones, KoA, Rularuu while havining standard perception will ignore stealth completely.
Snipers have 149 ft perception
Turrets and GMs have 100 ft perception
Bane Scouts have 83 ft perception -
It has 40 ft stealth radius. I'm using it with SS (total 75 ft) and have no problem stealthing at all. IIRC, I read somewhere on forums that some longbows suppress stealth. Winter Lord is a GM and has 100 ft perception radius, if he got aggro'd on you, then surrounding him minions would aggro on you too.

Probably the safest bet now will be bidding for 10 GA +3%def at 200M.

Quote:With 5 minutes cooldown, you need 5 victims to cycle through.Someone check my math on this.
48 PVP recipes. If I can kill someone in 60 seconds, which I don't know about, that's 100 minutes per recipe.
If we say three recipes are in the billion range (the Panacea unique, the Gladiator's Armor unique, and one other that I don't know?) then you have to get, on average, 16 PVP recipes to get one of them.
1600/60= just under 27 hours of PVP'ing to get a 1-5 billion inf bonanza.
Sounds like a good rate of return- if it's something you'd enjoy doing anyway. -
Quote:Both Steven Sheridan and Gordon Stacy have been bugged, IIRC, since i11. One of them was fixed couple issues ago though. They would give 1st mission of the arc, but after successfully completing that mission they would refuse to give next mission. He posted about it in Technical Issues. Short version is that he's partway through the arc, outlevelled it, and the contact isn't offering the next mission, or anything else for that matter.
All I can think of is that he has three missions open, but I'm pretty sure that was brought up in the thread. -
Quote:Skull bosses and Rularuu Overseers as well as Fakes can be done through Flashbacks.Just a minor correction on this Skull bosses, Rularuu Overseers, and Troll bosses are hard to get and requiring farming one mission usually.
You can hunt Fake Nems all you want in Grandville and there is a lot of missions with them in it.
Skull bosses are in "The Vahzilok Conference" arc. If mission set for x8, you can get 10-15 bosses per map IIRC.
The Overseers are in "Alone in the Darque" arc. You can get 25-35 overseers per map set for x8. WARNING: it is extremely painful for defense based toons
Fakes can be found in Lib TV, Black Scorpion's last arc, Serpent Drummer's and Dark Watcher's arcs
Unfortunately, there are no flashbacks for troll bosses -
Quote:There are 2-3 of them. One IIRC is from Unai Kemen, hydra map. What missions would these be? With Safeguard/Mayhem missions, you have to go to the Exploration Badge location to get it.
Also, it is possible to get "Cage Fighter" exploration badge just by observing arena fight if it happens on the cage map. -
IIRC it was done by Kahlan_, I saw that screenie somewhere on forums, but can't find it now. And I believe it was done before -1 settings were available

Quote:Someone successfully soloed RSF in 7+ hours. All TFs can be soloed except for maybe the STF, RSF and a few TFs that have you click simultaneous glowies.
Yes, they do require you to be very well equipped (either IO'd to the gills or loaded on temps/shivans/nukes) since they usually include one or more AVs that you'll have to solo.
Couldn't find that post with screenie yet -
Good to know that I can blame tanks instead of Cho this time
