    I don't care if people PL, I don't care if the Farm...it's thier $15/month...

    But it has been affecting the rest of the communtity due to forced patches...

  3. Sure Ninjas/TA is weak but that's ok. Not everything needs to be Uber.

    Mine just hit 27 so I got to drop some slots into Oni, running 2nd diff level and seem to be doing fine.

    I Flash, Glue, Poison Gas, and Acid. Get the Ninjas into Melee. Resummon when they die (they will) and move on. I didn't take Ice Arrow because the duration of hold is waaay tooo short.
  4. You know one of the unintended results of low reicpe costs/AE tickets/salvage inflation is that the stuff that was getting vender trashed (salvage) is that it's hitting the market. Which is a good thing actually.

    Wheter there is enough of it hitting the market is another question but I don't mind paying 20K/200K/1Mildo for salvage. At least it's there when I need it.

    Some of the comments are "AE mechanics" that I'm still struggling with honestly. I try to build in the same clue a couple of places...mob commentary, clues, etc. I'd rather repeat than someone miss something.

  6. I wasn't trying to be mean...in fact we chatted online this morning. I REALLY wanted to complete the arc.

    Difficult missions don't bother me but Bugged Missions do. I don't think the missions are intentionally bugged but he needs to know if he wants to have a reasonable arc.

    Easiest fix would be to use Bosses rather than pre-made EB's that auto set your level...only rare arcs have EB's popping out everywhere...with MA, regular bosses are rare and EB's more common..go figure.

    I want enjoyable playable arcs...not the kind that are kind of like "lets pawn the player to show how uber my arc is" which Catalyst's minions are almost bordering on...almost.
  7. I tried, I really did....this is not very good.....sorry to report.

    I'd ask you to try mine, but I'm afraid you'd retaliate with a poor rating...heck you'll probably find it an do it anyway.

    I only got through 2 missions then quit:

    Mish 1: Tedious as previously mentioned. I get Catalyst Defenders as Sword/Shield and the Amazon powersets but Archers as Archery/Dark Maisma? Sparrows as Mace/Lightning? Too Many..and the payoff is saving a Snowman?

    Mish 2:
    Typos in intro (no biggie actually), but it appears to be bugged. The Catalyst mobs and Longbow mobs are stacked on top of each other, not fighting each other...so we get Longbow on top of Catalyst debuffs...sigh.
    The Longbow EB is bugged...He is spawning as lvl 40, my Mastermind is 32...guess what happens next.

    Sorry, I wanted to try it but it's not working for me (or as intended I'd guess)

    Updateder won't connect this morning. Tried on 2 seperate computers...getting nothing but connect attempts.

    I can get the Test Updater to work, but not live.

  10. Here's my thought on AE in Atlas at least...it replaces the sewer runs. If someone dies the hospital is right there. Inspirations are available without having to "unlock" a contact that requires running around a big zone.

    I like to stay until level 14 when I get my travel power without the "Kings Row" run around for temp travel powers. Then it's off to greener pastures with bunches of tickets to use for recipe/salvage so I can afford to buy DO's/SO's.

    You don't even have to "farm", just run an AE mission, there are lowbie ones available. Some ain't half bad.

  12. Thanks for the responses....the extra attack options make the most sense. I acutally think I might take Slice because I didn't take Mu so at least I'll have one cone.

    I was actually wondering about Resist Elements for Toxic Resist but Parry would probably be best along with purples insp.

    My main, a level 50 Broadsword/Invulnerable Scrapper, is planning on completing his 2nd build and I wanted it to be "more effective" for the low level TF's.

    As way of history, I just ran my first Synapse and Sister Psyche and he only had Parry and Hack along with is Veteran attacks (Axe and Nemi Staff) with Build Up. I didn't feel very Scrappery or as big damage guy as I normally would.

    So...effective Low Level TF build: Posi level 15 (travel at 14? Toxic Reist?), Synapse level 20 (stamina and 1 AoE?), and Sis Psyche level 25 (2 AoEs?). I'd be interested to see if they are soloable also but that's not a requirement by any means.

    I'll build it to 50 so everything at the low level will have 6 slots of IO's (common) if they normally would.

    Thoughts and previous experience appreciated.

    Server Maintanence on Mon. and Fri. except on Holidays.

    Holidays defined as Banks/Post Office closed.

    Move Server Maintanence to Tues. or Thurs. if required.

    See how simple that is.....of course now that I14 has hit, they need to take the servers down on Tues and Thurs frequently at 7 am CST. Soo...I guess they come down every weekday...

  21. I think the folks at NCSoft/Paragon Studios/COX peoples need to get a calender.

    Server Downtime on Holiday Mondays (and soon to be 4th of July Friday, I know it falls on Saturday but most people will have Friday off) is just plain Silly.

    Who want's to bet it will last 90 minutes or more?
  22. OK, I just have to say this...Influence (and Infamy) isn't created at the Market.

    Someone, Somewhere, must defeat a mob to get the coin of the realm. THEN someone can buy whatever at the market.

    So while the market is a great way to "make" money...it really just transfers money from one toon to another taking a 10% cut along the way.

    Unless I'm totally confused and Toons are creating Influence some other way.

  24. Hey Trollers:

    I have a lvl 50 Fire/Rad and I thought I would like an Ice/Rad also. So I level pacted a toon up to a Scrapper and ran to lvl 50.

    Well you guessed it, I can't seem to "get" the build working well, just burning throught the blue bar.

    Currently has the AA+CC+Ice Armor and with Rad toggles running has Zero endurance. I plan on some IO's in the near future but was wondering about an effective End friendly SO build.

    Any thoughts?

    If you are going to take the random roll for your Merits, say in the 35-39 TF redside, and you get one of the junk recipes what is that worth?

    Lets say you get a Force Feedback Recharge/Endurance level 50. It's totally worthless but NO one will spend 200 merits on that IO and then pay for the salvage. It has a potential value of 600K/merit.

    If you multiple 600,000 x 20 merits (random roll cost) you get a value of 12 Million Infamy. NO ONE will pay 12 Million for a Force Feedback pool C recipe.

    Shouldn't the community take the view that spending 5 Million or so for these garbage IO's a deal?

    What about a Sting of the Manticore Tri Pool D....30 merits x 475,000 (40-45 level) = $14,250,000 Infamy. No one will pay that. What's the fair price? Excluding the obvious answer of whatever the market says it's worth.

    Thoughts? What's a fair return on Random Roll investment for seeding the market with "garbage" recipes/IO's?
