Ice/Rad Build Help: Sucking Wind

Hey Trollers:

I have a lvl 50 Fire/Rad and I thought I would like an Ice/Rad also. So I level pacted a toon up to a Scrapper and ran to lvl 50.

Well you guessed it, I can't seem to "get" the build working well, just burning throught the blue bar.

Currently has the AA+CC+Ice Armor and with Rad toggles running has Zero endurance. I plan on some IO's in the near future but was wondering about an effective End friendly SO build.

Any thoughts?

You gotta post your build, friend. It's hard to advise when we don't know what you have for End Reds and End Mods.

Ignore the level of slotting, this is the current build with the correct number of slots in the appropriate powers.

Endurance is a huge issue. Thinking about dropping CC for EMP.

Nothing appears glaring. You could add another endred to EF. Slot IO sets with +rec or +end set bonuses. Pick up the Atlas Medallion and Portal Jockey accolades. Pick up the Performance Shifter chance for +end proc.

why take Chillblain so late into the build? I skipped it altogether. No Frostbite? I love that immob. in groups with major AoE, its a staple.

I pushed Arctic Air into the 20s because I didn't have the end to run it. switch it for chillblain if you really want it.

I don't know enough about Rad, perhaps your getting your AoE immob/stuns there? Thing about stun/disorients they don't get -kb.

I have a low level Ice/rad that I have been pretty frusterated with. I just do no damage at all and with a fair group I really seem to stand around most of the time once a power of two is set up. Does this change before the late 30s?

I've been thinking of going to a different, but am undecided and hate to drop him if he will pick up. Maybe I should have gone with a more aggressive set for my taste.

I do love Ice, however.

What is your play style like? If you want to take advantage of AA and CC you need to be in melee range. I found it wasn't worth the end cost to run both at the same time. If CC is active and hitting the spawn AA is probably not giving a very big return. When I had both powers I ran CC unless I got stunned. The recharge time was long, so I'd activate AA until CC was up again.

If you are hugging a melee teammate and getting the most out of CC, EF and RI might not be worth the end or time it takes to activate them. Seeing how the team preforms can indicate if you need to use the powers. I know they are the staple of Rad's awesome, but there are times when that awesome means the difference between a spawn being defeated in 10 seconds instead of 11 seconds. At that point save em for the big fights.

I changed up my build(pre Dual builds) to be aimed more at high end TFs with Fallout and Vengeance so I dropped CC and AA (I did grab Shiver though). With some frankenstlotting my end usage is fair, and AM is up a lot and that helps.
