Pity Party ended for me after your first post. If you come across to teammates as you do in your forum posts I'd be surprised you ever get a team.
Just remember all you COX players, it's your fault that "Noes Ones Wants To Plays With Harts". We have been unable to keep him interested.
Random Thought: After 5 years you got no one in your friends list to play with?
Random Thought 2: Give us your global, then when you log on we can all drop what we're doing and come over and team with you. -
Hey Gang:
Addded to the original message regarding some slotting issues and such.
Wondering how you all slot the forms for the Tri-form build, Gold Standard PB has Fly in Nova and 3 Dam Resist in Dwarf but I'm finding the Dwarf farm to be brutal on the Blue Bar.
Thanks. -
Howdy Kheldian Forum users:
A couple of quick observations and questions regarding Peacebringers:
I am running one all-Human Build and an alternate Tri-form Build (spec'd to maximize the Nova and Dwarf forms for Positron TF's).
1. All-Human build appears to need Hasten and Stamina as many of the powers are on long timers. Do you find this to be the case?
2. My human PB is running single target attack chain with much success, I haven't dipped into the AOE's as I'm concerned the damage would be a bit low.
3. My Tri-form has Grant Invis and Invisibility and I usually hits Hasten, Essensce Boost, Build-up and then shift to Nova for AOE and then to Dwarf to taunt in the survivors for the Stomp. It has been working well. But when I'm not TFing I can't cast Photon Seekers while Invis, is this true or a bug?
4. Regarding set IO bonus', if I slot a Nova power will the set bonus' apply to both the Human and Dwarf form? Will the Decimation grant global recharge or just when I'm in Nova form for example? I currently have him slotted with common IO's in both builds and I just hit 32 which is usually when I start adding Sets. (Editorial Note: "Perfect IO, 2 Billion Inf, Purpled-up" builds while neat to look at are less interesting to me compared to realistic effective builds. Sorry to rant, pet peeve of mine).
5. I've saved up 400 merits while running Sunstorm and Posi and I was wondering what pieces you consider must have for Peacebringers.
Added:
6. It seems that endurance use for the Dwarf from is much harsher than Nova form. If I slot an end redux in the Dwarf power will that help? Redux in each attack? Both?
7. I currently have just Fly in Nova form. Does it need more?
That's all for now, if you have any advice it would be appreciated. -
Quote:And now that you can buy inspirations at every AE building throughout Paragon City and Rogue Isles in addition to the Arena's....why even unlock the contacts the normal way...So... its already time to get rid of the normal contacts altogether?
Gotta go...need to talk to the Bloody Bay Security Chief...NOT (rhymes with Noght) -
I was wondering how you see comments or notes left on you Forum Reputation?
It says you can see it on your User CP but I can't see anything, it says I have 23 reputation points but I have no idea on how to see it.
Sorry if this is a dumb question. -
I have a "Purple Farm" Question?
If defeating level 49 or 50 mobs is all that's required for a chance to drop Purples, why not resurrect the "TV Don" red-side mission.
I assume that the Family mobs inside have the same drop chance as all the Nemi mobs populating the "Liberate TV" mission. What's the differance other than increased xps/infamy without all the grief of stacked Veng on every mob.
I've been running level 50 0/8 with Bosses for TV Don and am having a pretty smooth run of it with my SS/Fire Brute (no purples) and was just wondering. -
Hey Gang:
Took the forum's advice and spent my 100 merits accumulated while Flashbacking and random rolled:
Crafted and available Red-side at Level 33: Lockdown Quad, Mako Tri, Perform Shift R/A, Teleport +Stealth. Amazingly the Analyze Weakness rare sold instantly.

Quote:It took me 48 min to complete. Apparently Spetnatz commandos are no match for my Ninja Warriors. After the Wall Fell
Contact is Dimitri Krylov (level 10-14)
1st mission is "Defeat Experiment 236 and witnesses"
Wondered what the average time for Spy Hunt was?
Midas Touched @ 11 merits in 30 min seems profitable..thoughts? -
Quick Bind Question:
Running a Ninja/Trick Arrow MM, painful I know, and I was wondering if there was a simple bind to send the Genin and Jounin into melee range, while keeping Oni next to me.
I currently use the "goto" pet command and just drag it to my try and hit 8 and place the target and all the Ninjas run into melee.
Thanks in advance. -
Villian Merit Update:
Running a level 31 Ninja/TA MM w/ Stealth and SS through some Oro Arcs (not your optimal toon, kind of poor actually), Results as follows:
Sky Hook 28min 6 merits
Coral Bonanza 40min 5 merits
Breaking Cage 24min 6 merits
Spy Hunt 48min 16 merits
Breakout @ Zig 42min 11 merits
Midas Touched 32min 11 merits
Total 214min 55merits...not so hot but I got a level + 4 bubbles, ended up level 32 -
Quote:When I was completeing the flashback missions, there were two lines of xp noted, one when the mission completed and a second one right below it. If you are running 1/+0 its the same amount twice.By the by this did not work. 0/0 and +1/x2 give the same end of mission bonus for Newspapers, TF/SF, Flashbacks and Bank Robberies, all tested personally today Red Side.
Spyhunt: Does it beat 18 merits in ~30 minutes?
Running at 1/+1 has an increased "2nd" completion bonus. 1/+2 the bonus is higher but not worth the increased difficulty.
I also noticed that increasing the amount of mobs by setting to "3 heroes" worth didn't change the mission completion xp, the "1st" xp listed.
Question? Which villian arc awards 18 merits? -
I've been running my Claws/SR scrapper with Super Speed through the arcs. SS combined with a level 22 Stealth IO in Sprint lets me "ghost" to the mission objectives quickly.
I've run all of the arcs from 20-34 and all are fun, but the Croatoa arcs are especially nice because you never have to leave the zone, unlike most of the other arcs which require running back and forth to the contact.
I love the Freakalympics (boo to lethal resist, imagine a DM scrapper would roll) and its gigantic merit reward, the first mission is kind of a clear all but otherwise goes pretty quick, maybe 1.5 hours if I'm serious.
Starting to do the Villian side arcs with a Ninja/TA MM...17 merits in 1.5 hours doing some 20-24 arcs, I think it feels slower, we'll see.
**XP advice, run the difficulty slider at 1/+1 level/no boss or AV for xp bonus upon mission completion when "ghosting" so many missions.** -
Reminder...you're not just "farming" merits, you now get FULL XP...win all the way around..
No running through non-arc contact to open up the arc, no talking to the Security Chiefs, no Bloody Bay Liason, no "Defeat 50 Malta" x3 to open up the arc...
Only downside is your "stuck" in TF mode and can't join PUG fun.. -
Hey Market Mavens:
Just wanted to chime in regarding my favorite thing about Issue 16, the ability to Flashback and run story arcs at full xps and with Merit rewards.
I had a Claws/SR scrapper sitting at 32 with about 100 merits saved up when I16 hit and I started running Arcs. He is currently at level 42 with 5 LOTG+recharges (all @ lvl 25) 4 of them bought with Merits and another bought with influence made over the last 10 levels. He has run every arc in the level ranges 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 with a Posi and a Numi thrown in.
So I guess I would say to those people complaining about lack of goodies, get to level 25, get an Oro portal and start running story arcs. Use the merits for personal use or sell your recipes for influence.
The only thing that would be nice is if Villians had similar Story Arcs to run with regards to Merit rewards, then I would do it over there with a Brute.
Later, -
Same thing happened to me twice today. I tried to start the Oro Flashback "The Freakshow War" twice. Gave me the Bricks AE building invisible door as Minotaur described.
How do you get this fixed? Bug it? Petition it?
Just tried to reset the Flashback and got the same bugged door location. Attempted to start "Unity War", got the same bugged door location. So 3 for 3 fails on Flashback in Bricks, the invisible AE mission door.
Just curious. -
Some Ideas:
Razor Bee
Razor Wasp
Scimitar Wasp
Sting Slasher
Sting Blade
Sabre Hornet
Good Luck -
I posted this over in the I16 Pruning Thread, should prolly go over here.
I tweaked my arc in response to the "review" I recieved, not that any of it mattered. The kick is I played a bunch of stuff listed for consideration but since then...meh.
Or you could have my experience:
The great unwashed masses (i.e. regular players) were playing my arc, getting 5 star rating average, maybe one or two plays a week. Very cool.
Then I made the mistake thinking the Unwashed Masses were right and asked for it to be "Reviewed" by People Smarter Than the Room* (*for trademark). See it works this way, you have to play thier arc(s) first, often with required positive feedback, read 4-5 stars, and then wait breathlessly while you wait for your review.
Well I got a 2 star review from a Person Smarter Than the Room*, dropping my average to 4 stars resulting in Zero, Zip, Nada, plays since said review. I made the changes that Smarter Than the Room* recommended (AE mechanics were confusing, like spawning certian ambushes) No advice about improving the mechanics or the story flow just things like No AV Final Battle (cuz every story arc Regular content is loaded with EB/AVs every mission), don't like the Boss names (they were themed but not to he/her liking apparently) and weak comments like that.
So...no more effort on my part, to those 15 or so that gave me 4-5 stars, thanks. Still a non-farm quality, level 20-29 arc, soloable for any AT just floating in the "4 star arc limbo/hell" never to be played again cuz it's not on the first 250 pages...BUT Doofus' Boss Farm x900 is there...enjoy. AE meh.
To all those quality authors, thanks for your efforts. I play em and enjoy em. I may comment on difficulty or mechanics but will never "poor" feedback you on an honest effort to write a good story. "Poor" effort gets "poor" reviews. -
Quote:Martial Arts/Super Reflexes Stalker: Storm Kick, Crippling Axe Kick, Eagles Claw, Assassin Strike, and Dark Blast for single target goodness.Cones, AoEs and PBAoEs can make it appear as if your single-target attacks are missing more frequently by forcing the streak breaker to kick in at the "wrong" time. Were you using any cones, AoEs or PBAoEs?
I was fighting Crimorians during the streak and I know they stack Defense w/shields but my to-hit on them was still 95% for the white minion class. Amazingly I died to a level 52 Boss and minion (soft-capped Def) during the wiff streak and that hasn't happened in a Looooonnnng time. That's what made me notice. The to-hit check on the boss was about 70% but jumped up when I defeated the minion.
Side note: During the wiff-fest 10 of the 25 misses were on the 95% to-hit check. -
I had a nice morning last week. I was hunting Paragon Protectors up in the Fab and got a Ragnorak and a Scirocco's Dervish Lethal Proc from a couple of Bosses. Next moring got another Dervish Lethal Proc from another PP boss.
Interesting note: 3 of my next 5 merit rolls were Scirocco's Dervish Lethal Proc. RNG weirdness. -
Quick Question: Has anybody else noticed if they are missing on their to-hit rolls, missing on their attacks. It seems that my level 50 stalker has been WELL below average on his to-hit success lately. (I usually moniter my to-hit roll and will glance up when I miss). My Martial Arts Stalker is slotted around 65% to hit bonus in attacks with a Touch of Death Set, Mako Set, and 2 Kinetic Combat Sets + acc/dam/rech in my 4 melee attacks (including Assassin Strike) and a Thunderstrike Set in Dark Blast. I usually have 95% to hit white/yellow/orange minion class mobs.
This morning I counted 25 misses out of 95 attacks, average to-hit roll was 90% (only fought 1 Boss during that run). I then hit the next 15 in a row (blue minions) running the count to 25 of 110, still well below average. I will admit that it is a small sample size but it was certianly noticable.
Anybody else notice a change. -
Quote:I can't do that. lol.... I use WW to sell or buy. I just don't flip and don't like that people do that. I can't see or understand how that helps anything but their bottom dollar.
Actually, the only limiting factor for me is the number of market slots I have available on that toon at that specific time. If someone wants to "flip" salvage by buying up excess supply and holding it for me when I need it, I'm totally fine paying their holding "fees".
I'd be the happiest customer in the world to pay 50K/250K/1-2Million for commons/uncommons/rares. Knowing that they are available is worth it to me. Nothing more annoying than having a shortage of a common consumable salvage getting vendored for peanuts. Post everything for 5 and collect the coin. -
"So... since you've all calculated how easy it is to get all those common IOs or set IOs... who wants to do it for me on Triumph redside? I want roughly 500 level 35-40 preferably set IOs. I'm willing to pay in the hundreds of thousands of Inf per IO. "
says the Smurph man...
I can do it on Triumph, I have Field Crafter if you want common IO's and I can if you want specific sets made. And enough to bank roll it until we can settle up...
PM me...@Noght in game or here on the Forums.... -
Welcome to the Stalker world....(I have a lvl 50 MA/SR stalker over Triumph way and a 42 DM/EA on Champion)
Attacks out of hide are Auto-crit, use your Assassin Strike then placate/next-best-attack or reverse that.
On a large team, target bosses or annoying Lt mobs. We used to run a large team that attacked right when I hit Build-up before Assassin Striking the Boss. You are much more survivable since the Stalker buffs and you can "scrap" much more effectively than "in my day" (how funny does that sound),
Stamina is probably a good idea, there are some excellent /Ninjitsu guides out there with some fantastic advice so try to peek at them.
You are not as squishy as you think...I would run paper missions "boss hunt" or "steal" missions for quick levels, ghost to end, pop some inspirations and clear final room. Rinse and Repeat.
Good Luck. -
Um..Nitra...
Farming and PLing ain't the issue. The whole arguement from the "it's my $15/month, it's not affecting you, I can exploit farm AE if I want arguement" fails at exactly this point...taking the servers down to fix it denying the whole communtity play time.
As I said previously, if you are adding stuff to the Game..cool..just let us know. If it's only to fix AE exploit farming than it falls into the above arguement. Just let us know that's all. -
What Work Ethic said.
See back in the old days, we had maintanence on Monday and Friday. Since AE, we've had many additional Downtimes to fix "exploitive" AE farming. I agree that they "NEED" to fix the exploits, I might recommend pounding the creators a bit and letting the rest of us play. Fix them on scheduled days as the servers are down anyway.
Now...IF they are dropping in additional things, like Booster Pack 3 or other "community as a whole QoL" things..just say so and no one cares.
