  1. An Alpha slot topic with a thumbs down icon greatly confuses me.

Your screenshot would prove everything you said in this topic was wrong if the last 5 sales on such a high volume item at any given point meant anything ; thankfully for you it doesn't, so you just look merely misguided.

That said, with 30 bidding and 564 for sale, we can see there's a vast stack of CIs that just doesn't sell, which implies prices were higher before, or that even the current lowest price (which is at most 5M) is over what it's really worth.

I buy all my CIs as recipes for 100k so as far as I'm concerned, everyone in this topic is coconuts.

I don't see where did I say or even implied that except in the lunatic world you created for yourself when anyone who doesn't support you unconditionally is part of a common hivemind who not only disagrees with everything you say but apparently makes specific arguments completely unrelated to their actual objections.

It's especially ironic because I actually have different opinions on the market than most around these parts, yet in your eyes I'm one of Them. Let's face it, you post a lot and most of these posts are wrong ; pretty much anyone is bound to disagree with you at least once, regardless of their own opinions.

My main worry is that I don't have enough accuracy slotted in my attacks. [...] Oh yeah and I have one unassigned slot in this build.
Kismet +6tohit comes to mind for that slot.
  5. Time to talk invul buffs !

    - raise the scrapper resistance cap to 80 or 85%.

This makes Unstoppable more interesting, as well as letting us increase our S/L resistance to what it should be (above 75% S/L can be reached with the cardiac alpha now). Also benefits fire and elec armor scrappers, who get the short end of the stick compared to their brute counterparts.

    - change Unstoppable to be closer than Force of Nature.

It doesn't seem right that an APP clone of the power is easier to use (and arguably more useful because of that) than the original power. Give us the resistances for only 2 minutes, with just an end crash and the same 1000s recharge.

    - Temp Invul should be a damage aura on top of the resistance power it currently is.

That's right, if bullets bounce of my chest it's bound to hurt *somebody* as there's always the aggro cap around me.

    - add a fear effect to Unyielding.

If I can't have fear protection, it's only fair. Plus I feel so badass when I play my invul I know I'd just turn away and run if I was one of the badguys. There also should be an instadeath effect (heart attack) if they start running out of melee 'cause I don't feel like chasing.

    - Dull Pain on a 20s base recharge.

    Just do it.

    - Underground Pony Death Laser

Because orbital strikes are overrated. This would be a 300 feet PBAoE dealing 100.000 unresistable damage to anyone who isn't invul - including your teammates.

I think these changes are only fair and would go a long way towards making Invul closer to the other secondaries.

Invul is just lol period. No where near enough protection for what comes at you in the end game with all the exotic damage.
    Yes! Buff Invul!

    SS/Fire/Mu Brute

I wouldn't go for anything less than the Rare Alpha slot. The level shift is huge. I've noticed a ~60% speed improvement on +4/x8 with my alts.
  9. They changed the fitness pool to be inherent recently (you get all 4 powers automatically at level 2), but they couldn't make the change to already existing builds. So, old builds that were created before I19 have to respec to get the inherent fitness.
  10. I vote yes. I find each of them very helpful (both for resistances and debuff resists), and with inherent fitness there's more than enough room to take them.
  11. Heh, seriously. I'd put my average solo hour of playing at about 10-12 shards. It's still a good 8-9 hours of playing (and playing, not "AFKing during loading times to alttab and browse the Internet", which is what I end up doing solo! ) and compared to a half hour for the weekly TF that's still about twenty times slower, which is a bit much IMHO. There's lots of middle ground in there to decrease the requirements for a solo Notice of the Well without falling into ridiculous hyperbole to defend that point.
  12. I just love the logic here : "scrappers who can aggro shouldn't be able to aggro, because scrappers shouldn't aggro ; scrappers shouldn't aggro because they can't aggro."
  13. That's probably it, then ; I run at 113%. Will try at 100% later. Thanks!

Edit: yep, switching scale to 100% helped. Thanks again.
  14. I tried both of your suggestions, to no avail. Clicking and dragging the top of the column increases the vertical size, showing more SGs, but I still can't see more than 6 digits on any of them. For me, the window can't be expanded left to right no matter where I click, nor the individual columns.

Just to make sure, I'm talking about the SG listing showing all supergroups, not the individual SG window for your own SG.
  15. That is one atrocious looking team window. The new colors used for the health/endurance bars are downright ugly and tacky, it doesn't even seem to fit with the rest of the UI.

Do people who design this stuff even have eyes ? I can't fathom who thought this was a good idea over the old UI we currently have.
  16. The Scrapper role, just like any other AT role, is to be awesome, not to act like some bloody idiot straight from Everquest who believes in the Holy Trinity. Why should your teammates care about you if you're not even going to try to help them? They'd be better off with anyone else. Thankfully this game is easy enough to allow for pity spots... Which probably means you do end up on teams often and think you being on teams legitimize your self-centered style of play.

In fact, "why should I care?" is the perfect answer to every single of your topics. You obviously don't give a damn about anyone else and think the game should be designed around you... Wait, scratch that part. You care about others if and only if they're having more fun than you, in which case you want to nerf whatever it is they're having fun with, even though it'd provide no improvement to you whatsoever (see: "nerf hurdle" topic).

    Well, good luck with that.
  17. Having played with Phantasm very recently I've seen him running up to in melee and getting dispatched quick, whereas he definitely didn't do that before. Might be the same thing going on with the Mu? I know I had no problem keeping him alive by simply not summoning him in the middle of a pack before, he'd just stop at middle range and start blasting ; but I haven't played with him since I17 if not before, so I'll defer to you on that.
  18. They usually close to melee very fast, in my experience.
  19. Yes, solo was implied. I've done it personally on DB/inv, which is a midtier build at best. Soloing a MoITF on an IOed out scrapper doesn't say much if anything about a build performance, the hardest part is finding 5 people to help you start including 1 staying logged out on team.
  20. I've heard DEs in tips have higher tohit. It used to be that DEs at level 50 were level 49 rocky dudes and nothing else, because the faction capped at level 43 or something, so maybe they created "new" identical DEs for tips recently and threw higher tohit on them.

Anyway, I went and checked on my widow right after reading Sailboat's post, exemplaring her to level 35 and taking on level 35 Razorvines, Bedrocks, Deathspores and Quartz. With 42.2% def to melee, they're getting a 7.77% chance to hit, and with 39.7% def to range, they're getting a 10.3% chance to hit. Seems to be standard tohit to me.
  21. Scrappers of all secondaries can do MoITF, and many Shield scrappers have done so.
  22. Ooh, ooh! I finally got one.

So I get into this Khan PUG with one of my marketeers alts (ELM/SD scrapper, weak build) and everything goes more or less just fine. At the glowie/temp mission, that one dude insists we wait for everyone (in a full team of 8) as to get the temp... I tell him there's no need to hit Reich more than once if you hit him right away, and sure enough the guy starts flipping out telling me he's done it 22 times and in 26 minutes (I think he thought that was a great time).

Cue in the final mission. Of course he runs in the final room and just sits there (along with the tanker, admittedly, but he was clearly trying to make it fail), Reichsman starts his speech and aggroes before getting whacked with the temp, so we have to hit him multiple times with it. Then people start asking for the temp when Reichsman unstops... Sure enough players were so busy spamming the temp rather than attacking we wiped, and wiped, and wiped, as some insisted on staying dead on the ground rather than hosp it up.

Finally, while leet dude went to his SG base (apparently to get T3 insps for the tank... which he ended up giving to me, after telling me I was a moron ; guess his vast experience of the Khan TF didn't let him know how to click on the right teammate... nor how to avoid getting killed by a regular group of -1 councils while on the way back, as a matter of fact), we regrouped, took on the easier AVs one by one, then as leet dude joined us we finished Reichsman. What seemed like it'd be an usual 30 minute run by the fourth mission turned into a 1 hour long TF because of... Well, I'd lie if I said "that guy's ego" alone, because I certainly didn't help matters by confronting him, so I guess I asked for that horror story.

In the end, easily the worst team I've been in and still a sub-1 hour completion time, so I really don't get people who claim this is hard.
  23. The spiderlings if you're in a situation without AoE damage (from the mobs) and you control most of the aggro, as there's 3 of them and each does reasonable damage. The Mu in more general situations (being ranged and flying, he'll often stay out of trouble). I've found the widow and the coralax to be subpar, they go in melee and more often than not die quick.

    Solo Khan?

Khan Reichsman is trivial to survive on a squishie with range softcapped at long range, all he uses is Hurl.

Now of course cold/sonic doesn't use an immobilize in its best chain, so you'd have to either kite (a loss of DPS no matter what people say) or pick and use something like elec fences from the elec APP (which would also decrease DPS a bit, even if slotted for damage, as it'd replace an attack doing -res).
  25. All I see is the last 6 digits, and there doesn't seem to be a way to expand the window.
