It's initially the better pre prerequisite before tactics.

If I am looking at lvl 30 IOs then I would consider the slotting fine whilst hasten is down. Hasten up and you can be at times in danger of over stacking debuffs. It would be nice to have a duration timer on powers to ensure I don't pointlessly over use the same power twice but having to think that way separates TA from the rest. Normally I have a debuff chain after a power ie Glue Arrow and don't use the powers in that chain till Glue Arrow is rechgd.
Power choices are your own but I think that some IOs could be moved especially if higher than lvl 40 in later levels as there is a difference between what you can have and what you actually need.
Explosive Arrow is the quirky choice imo. Its better than Fistful in terms of DoT providing you hit the right numbers but if you are hitting the right numbers then there is a good chance that the Mag 4.15 KB is going to be counterproductive to a teams efforts. If I soloed I wouldn't look at it as its an AoE that is best used on a X amount I would hope not to pull.
Entangling Arrow is good if you solo as you can hold a kite, and possibly specialize in range def for IOs later. Its also good when its best for a Tank to kite an AV in a team. There is no healing arrow, and without a single healer in a team there "still" doesn't have to be a reason why a AV can't be Tanked and why someone has to get killed.
Flash Arrow incidentally is unresistable. There should be times when other defenders tohit debuffs get resisted to less than what FA can offer so its not that bad! Better than Manuevers, better than a Tankers Weave and is good for the whole team. In doing a TF the other day/week as time flies Flash Arrow before someone munches on the alpha actually can have noticeable effect as it stacks with peoples defenses.
Poison Gas Arrow is 31% Dam mitigation the downside with it is I wouldn't want to use it to find there is a lack of aggro control but it can be aggro control as I have slept some with it. The sleep itself can help mitigate an alpha into 2 stages.
Range of Arrows, well good luck in getting that to land on enemies cos once all the debuffs are fired I tend to find nothing left to land the arrows on, sometimes in some teams you could start with RoF and still watch the arrows land on dead people. 4 secs of Cast time + Minimum of 4 mobs for DPE actually adds up to not a lot of usefulness in my attacking after debuffing experience...
...but your experiences can differ. Good Luck with her, I happen to love TA.
Oh yeah definitely 3 rechg 3 dam Oil slick. Pull 2 slots from Power Sink and make them high level IOs. -

I haven't had this problem myself, but can understand it must be annoying as heck to have to restart the client just to change toons.
Have you tried pressing TAB to change the input box focus? (this probably won't work if the login box isn't already in focus though...)
[/ QUOTE ]
Using Tab to be able to type in the password gets me as far as having to choose a server and at that point I still have no mouse. -
I'll try that when it happens again but it only happens every so often. What's more often is my password being with extra letters in it that aren't supposed to be there but thats a known bug.
-
Nothing to do with AE unless its AE and if it wasnt AE those ppl will probably be requiring a filler for something else. Having altitis and started so many toons + levels that few can compete with, its been pretty rife.
Any mission could do with a limit on the number of times you can crack at it and just to be fair more chance of rewards could be given for proceeding and doing different missions.
For anyone under 12, finding out that after say 9 lvls their first team invite is to fill must be cack. -
Sometimes when I log out to change characters I got to enter my password but have no mouse icon on the screen for me to click the entry box. I try closing and reopening the window and nothing changes meaning I have to reload the game again. What's up with that?
-
I got Fire/Fire, when it comes to soloing AVs I have yet to bother looking at why not. I can't think why not atm. With the right slotting you can pretty much make most scrappers feel the same.

Lying on the ground also cuts into valuable dps.

I wouldn't know. Tell me more!
I don't think the Conchars builds above are all that hot. I think perhaps you could of looked at them and done something to improve them especially in terms of DPS. I will say though I have always agreed on Willpower pulling leaderships off. -

Dunno, you´ll have problems against smashing damage.
You should be able to defeat avs without aid self though if not you use greens.

They are the most solid bs,katana/will builds i have seen though.

In terms of survivability I doubt he needs tough half the time unless there is a 3% res/def IO involved. SRs don't need fight pool or much power pool help to soft cap to all, they can IO slot to it. Using Aid self would cut into potential DPS so good thing not to use on an AV. The way I see it also: The only reason fight pool is in his build is so to soft cap def and be able to afford to damage proc attacks. I might do one, but atm I am going for an all rounder with my claws/sr. -
Well for me anyway. Seems that I am mapping more than ever and DCing more than ever. I got used to DCs at WW when I do it on a character the first time and the occasional map at certain points but these days there is more of them. Anyone else find this?

Whilst some may say "not in the next 6 months". I won't be so sure. I figure "whenever Champions Online comes out" as that would fit certain past trends to me or perhaps just as the commotion of Champions Online simmers at the very least.
-
You are right, not all AE buildings fit in with the context of their zone and at the very least could differ on building materials to suit local brickmakers and such.

Just reposting as a lot of bad editing on my part made my first post more nonsense than its meant to be:
You are right, compared to most of the other High heel boots from mid shin down (so front) they are different. They are curving in the shin bone more, extending the top of the foot more to an odd shape. I don't mind the toes being more pointed the as that kind of fits the witches look.
Boxing Boots make a girls feet look big, they're actually figure hugging in RL. High heel boots do the same but can be exemped. The wedding shoes I've found odd in a similar way to the witches boot (again around the top of the foot). -
You def debuff an all that so why Foc Acc over Tactics? Why 6 slot Ragnarok for Knockback and Toxic Resist instead of 5 and a Proc from another set? I don't get stealth and Invis over Haste and SS unless its a concept thing. I don't get M30 for DPS as being better than triage beacon for HPS but then I do get the game being about socializing, concepts, personal playstyle and fun. So good build!

Other than the two I gave, Can you think of any other reasons old animations have ended up part of the paid-for magic pack? - happy to hear them if you can think of any.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sometimes somethings are reasonably universal and suits what people will generally be happy with and allows more time for other things that will benefit the player base who won't necessarily buy the pack - all at the same time. There are new animations involved in the pack and the fact that you can costume change with a special effect is something. The buffs you can give people are pretty good an all. I can't feel robbed of a few pennies.
Even parts of the Witches costumes is useful for more than just witches and therefore a little bit more universal. If you got a Vampire, Dragon, Demon, Goth or Sorceress the new cossie options suit. The high collars suit Highwaymen, Witch Hunters, Dr Jekyll types as well as Mages.
It all good imo. -
After it took me an hour to buy one code and upgrade one account I will not bother buying any more for my other accounts. I was going to but now I think sod it.
-
In America it is still yesterday and it maybe 4pm before you can purchase it today.
-
Wow I like this, great Achievement. I will probably doctor mine for more characters when I get a chance. It'll definitely be useful.

In terms of DPA, DPE and DPS, Bitter Freeze Ray wins by a mile.
In terms of EPS Bitter Freeze Ray is only slightly worse.
In terms of HPS Bitter Freeze Ray is only slightly worse.
Not a lot of difference in those 2 factors, actually negligible.
Freeze Ray however recharges in half the time for 2 spammed holds.
With all the bonuses and same slotting getting a second hold with Bitter Freeze Ray would take 4 more secs which still means Freeze Ray recharges in half the time.
The greater the Damage done by every power the lower the fight duration potentially.
With all the other powers I would be wondering whether the utility of a nearer spammable double hold is needed. Can I afford to wait 8 secs or do I need 4 secs? Only playing will know I guess. -
Did you mean to have Freeze Ray instead of Bitter Freeze Ray?

In the window with all the pets health bars I have nicked the icons from it and put them in my tray.
I have Goto with the icon of 3 circles within eachother. Follow as normal and just as Follow. Aggressive, Defensive and Passive only as them and Stay has the Hand icon. Attack is simply attack. Its basic in order to keep the number of macros down as with more macros I can tell any single pet to do anything the others won't.
To split them up 1 by 1 which differs from splitting them on tiers I could select a Pet and then use a Macro which reads:
$Petcom_<Any command you like>
Now that pet could be my Brute out of my Thugs or just one of any of the others. Handy on making a near dead bot you want to detonate walk into mobs alone before kablooey if your say Bots/FF. If one gets stuck or falls off an edge then I can tell that one to Dismiss itself on its own before bringing mobs back with it or without it. Or for getting any Pet with clicky or toggle AoE on them where they need to be.
Pretty simple, means I got lots of options and as few macros to know about as poss. Which is good when you got altitis. -
I think this lacked a reply cos of ppl thinking that they're not experts.
