I hear you SoulTouch.
When I decided to Acco out on another server, I essentially mission dropped all the missions in that Tina Arc until I got to the one containing Neuron and Anti-Matter, saved it and ran my alts through it.
Portal Jockey is a great accolade but that Tina arc is a bear... -

When I was doing these, I used the Warburg missions. They usually spawned a few Toxics.
Outside of that, you can use the first mission of Statesman Task Force, which generally has a fair number of Toxics as well. -

Confused Praetorians gathered around Emperor Cole's residence, hoping to hear such classics as Come to Bohemia, You're the Top and Let's Do It (Let's Fall in Love). Instead, they were treated to an annoucement that Emeperor Cole will be hiring porters for his trips around Praetoria's capital.
Resident Meg Davis was furious: "We barely get three channels on the TV, we don't have a McDonald's or wide-screen theatre, and we have to bust our backs for that stiff?"
Emperor Cole's latest is getting good press from economist Miles Farnsworth: "This is just shifting the burden to the taxpayer, something often done in trying times."
We were unable to get the Emperor to comment, receiving the Cole shoulder.

This Scrapper joins one of my SGs (DM/SR), he asks to duel my Rad/Therm, which I do and beat him.
"You beat me because you used inspirations."
I set it to No Inspirations, beat him again.
He unloads with a MASSIVE cavalcade of anger in tells:
"You know, real pvpers don't run and superspeed away. You're terrible. All you did is attack me from range, use inspirations, Hibernate when your health was low and hit your aura for heals. You never fight toe to toe, ever."
Me:
"I'm on a squishy and your dude has crits, a higher damage mod and tons more hit points?"
And he just couldn't be placated, until he fought a Psy/EM and quit out after 3 minutes.
Some very, very, very odd people and playstyles out there.

I laughed hard Sonic, going to +rep you forever.
It'll probably be a couple of hours. Say we get a good turnout of 20ish people...that's 6-7 teams, 3 rounds then more rounds then finals. You're looking at round 40 minutes in matches if you move on, another 10 in the finals. -

Unfortunately that is a HUGE problem outside of the player's control since there has been an overwhelming cry to remove such things as DR and ESPECIALLY travel suppression but...it's still here for whatever reason.
This probably sums up the reason why so many PvPers are not even playing CoX any longer.
The base resists are crazy though; I'd rather have people still using their sonics/therms etc for the shields as well as their other innate abilities.
It is what it is, as the saying goes. Fun can still be found but it's not as much a rush as it used to be (admittedly, it can still be a rush when I play with my old friends that are still around). -

I stopped PvPing for about 7 months until Sabin on Pinnacle saw my Emp in a zone, grabbed me and took me on the wild ride that was Test Server PvP. With that gone, meh...I still show up for Arena events and I do genuinely help people when they ask, but the new PvP is not fun.
There is too much interruption of movement, too much heal decay...diminishing returns have their place I guess, I can see the utility.
It's just not that fun anymore. I levelled and IOd my Rad/Therm so I'd have something decent redside, she's lots of fun. I don't think I'll be accoing and purpling/PvPIOing many more heroes/villains in the future though, after my Ill/TA and Stalker anyway.
Just not worth it with how slow everything is these days. :/
Honestly, I'll never discourage people from trying PvP, more power to you but you're just so weakened these days. :/ -
Like the Arena, Merit and TF changes.
One question about the TF change though, does this mean if we start a Task Force and mobs are level 31-32 they always stay at this level?
