Yeah, the time difference sucks. I know when Integrity was still together on test I think Proj lives in California so it was rough for him being online at 6 p.m. and so on...but it's something you manage.

Maybe in your case, you want to make a note in your sign-up that you can only play certain times...in the past teams have been accomodating to people with odd schedules, no promises or guarantees it will be the case this time though.

The old Malleus, Shifter, etc badges were exclusive and got re-awarded.

I suppose it depends how exclusive they want some items to be. I don't have the VIP badge and likely never will, no big deal on my end.

Hopefully the missions have something to with "The Coming Storm" or perhaps even some hints toward Praetoria...

There is a league draft thread in this section, sign up and ask him to sign up as well. I've seen his MA/Regen on test in times of yore so I know he can handle that as well.

Going with that...closed Beta "soon", open Beta early March, launch April?
Sounds optimistic if there are systems such as the mysterious "endgame", side switching and so on as well.

Still news would be nice...the Training Room is indeed down for "internal testing" (which could be anything from a pig roast BBQ with booze fountain for Sexy Jay to pre-testing GR...) so we'll see.

You don't physically earn rep in Arena but there is a behind the curtain engine that tabs you with rep when you defeat someone. Since this resets every 5 minutes, you have a pretty small chance of getting your IO.

For the record, I got a Gladiator's Armor (Resistance) on my Rad/Therm the other day in RV and it was the first PvPIO I'd got in over a month. I tend to PvP less these days because of rl concerns, but I do so for 3-4 hours in RV or an hour or two in Arena.

The drop rate is crazy low.

To get the 10,000 just do missions and sell whatever salvage you get on the Black Market/Wentworth's.

You can get a jetpack by doing 3 missions from your broker (Mike the Ear or the other guy) in Port Oakes or detective in Kings Row. After you do those, you'll get a Mayhem/Safeguard mission, which grants you a temp power/buff on completion if you're in the right range. You can also buy them in Firebase Zulu (Peregrine Island) or in Grandville.

The Ouroboros system is available starting at level 25. Note you may unlock the portal much earlier than that (through arcs connected with time travel, for example Marshal Brass gives you Echo down the Aeons and I think Doc Delilah's arc in Faulltline gives this as well) but you can't use it until 25. When you enter Ouroboros, get the badge at the top of the spire for your portal, which serves as a handy shortcut to various zones too! There are small crystals in the alcove that list missions available to your level band.

You don't need Air Superiority, though it does make a nifty filler for your attack chain if you're low on attacks. Travel powers unlock at 14, unless you're one of the nifty ones with a level 50...that unlocks Kheldians which can travel at level 1, and they have nice story arcs too.

Virtue is chock full of RP groups...under the server forums there is usually a list of the larger SG/VG with their requirements/protocols. Check there or just ask around teammates.
