    Kheld Grace

Indeed, I have 5 of the Kheld ATO, no need to get the 6th since one of the 5 is the proc. If my math is right, my main Kheld will benefit nicely from the set.

Point being, there are still stories to tell even after the big momentous death scene, and since superheroes come back from the dead all the time, States isn't necessarily going to be the one who's dead at the end of the story -- we know someone will be, but hey, still two parts to go! Plenty of time for someone to sacrifice themselves to bring him back or something. That might account for the lack of hype at this point, too; wouldn't want to ruin the surprise by telling us what's going to happen weeks before the arc is released like they did with part 5.

And If Statesman comes back with a mullet, I'm cancelling my subscription and never looking back.
Problem with resurrecting States at this moment is that he will come back as plain old Marcus Cole since Wade is running around with his powers. So step 1 is revive Marcus, step 2 is get him his powers back. However if you ran the valentine mish to revive Red Widow, your contact that gives you the greek coins does warn you that some spirits do NOT want to come back. Statesman is now in the hereafter with his wife, daughter and any other friends and family that left before he did. He may not want to come back.

    http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/01...f-statesman-i/

Posi states that ish 23 is the "purge statesman from majority of the game" issue, which means a rename of the STF among other changes. Also there is this:

"Considering the obvious superheroic parallels, we wonder: Are there current plans to bring Statesman back at some point in the future?"

"We have no plans to bring him back in any of the issues we are currently working on or planning. We have over a year's worth of content already planned that will explore the ramifications of Statesman's death. Removing him from the game is a massive undertaking, so it's not like we can turn a switch and undo it right away. I won't say "never," but "extremely unlikely" might better cover it."

    GHOSTBUSTERS 3

Speaking of ghosts, Dan Aykroyd spoke to Empire Online about "Ghostbusters 3" rumors, mentioning Bill Murray may not be back as Peter Venkman and may be replaced by another actor. Aykroyd also noted he would want Rick Moranis to play a major part in the production.

"If we can get the script to 'Ghostbusters 3' right, then it would definitely have Moranis as a major component," Aykroyd told Empire. "None of us would want to do the movie without having him as a participant."

To me this translates to "Bill Murray is out and we want Rick Moranis to take his place." Not a bad choice, but still let's see the script and hear what the plot will be besides passing the torch to a new generation of busters.

    But to the OP...

I really liked the first Transformers movie.

#2 was just bad with the shaky-hand cam and all the toilet/trashy humor (and stereotypes).

    #3 was just....bad...plothole/story wise...

    Edit:

Oh at least Shia LeBouf is gone from the series so that's always good! Sorry just don't like the actor.
I have nothing against Shia, he did what he could with what he was given, and you know what the say about polishing a stone.....you only get a shiny stone.

For all three movies, I praise the CGI for the most part. Bayformers 2 I have filed under WSNSOI: We Shall Not Speak of It. Didn't have the heart to watch Bayformers 3 in its entirety.

So what's next in Bayformers 4? Unicron? HOPE NOT

In a way, you lose by augmenting, because you no longer have access to the set for all levels. But the stat increases are still nice, especially if you are incarnate content focused and don't exemplar much. But leaving them normal would be a bigger advantage for someone who exemplars often. Unless they just magically get treated as their non-superior versions when you exemplar, but I don't know.
Hm, I've been thinking of the sets that offer some S/L def or NRG def but overall not that impressed yet. Think I'll wait for awhile and tinker with Mids and see how things go.

The Dominator set looks quite useful for permadom building but I can achieve that without the set. Mastermind set looks like it could be done without. Brute set looks useful, and I like the idea of a proc that augments fury on all attacks, blaster's wrath...eh, Kheld Grace could be useful for going perm eclipse or perm light form but those can be achieved without. Think I'll wait.

G1 always holds a special place for me, but Beast Wars was for me the best of the cartoon series. Beast Machines starting getting a bit too mystical and I was never that keen on techno-organic Cybertron.

Armada/Energon/Cybertron I have filed under the WSNSOT cataegory: We Shall Not Speak of Them.
  7. I expect initial prices to be high and eventually drop into near purple prices, I doubt we will see PVP IO prices.....

Minor clarification: are the entire ATO sets for their bonuses worth it. I've read up on them at paragon wiki and some seem nice, and apparently upgrading all 6 augments the set bonuses, if so, what are the set bonuses with all 6 ATO having been augmented?

Now for the big question: are the ATO's worth it?

I can recall a mercy kill or two from Mal, notably that villager in the movie when they escape from the Reavers, but the rest were people that were fittin' to do harm to him or his.
Yes, Mal did say that to Simon at the end of the pilot episode, the same episode that had Mal sucker punch Simon earlier, but again that can be justified as Mal thought Simon was alliance. Still, it was nice in Serenity when Simon's rage finally built up early in the movie and Simon sucker punched Mal. Honestly, I didn't think Simon had it in him.

In Serenity, Mal did kill the unarmed man that he pushed off their transport and the guy was then scooped up by the Reavers and Mal put a mercy bullet into him. Still Mal was justified in that the mule transport won't run with five people. Yes, leaving that guy to be eaten and putting a bullet in the guy was not all that heroic, but Mal was also looking out for his crew, the money and himself. Self-preservation.

The Alliance fighter that mortally wounded the Shepard was shot down by the Shepard and Mal was enraged at what had been done and that someone he thought of as crew and friend had just died in his arms. Total justification on Mal's part for blasting the pilot that was trying to surrender. Basically it came down to "Shepard Book was my friend....AND YOU JUST KILLED HIM!!!!" BANG!

The only other "unarmed" person that Mal shot was the Operative when they met in Inara's home. The Operative stated he was being reasonable, that he was unarmed and then Mal blasted him. Of course the Op was wearing full body armor, but Mal was again justified in blasting the guy. He was hunting the Tams and he was basically holding Inara hostage, something that I suspect would be guaranteed to arouse Mal's wrath.

Everyone else that I can recall Mal shooting in the series had a weapon pointed either at Mal or one of his crew, like the Alliance operative in the pilot ep that had his gun to River's head. Mal just draws and fires, bang! The sword duel, Mal faced the guy with equal weapons and turned him into a pin cushion at the end as part of humiliating the guy. The mobster that he kicked into the engine intake had just refused Mal's generous offer and vowed to hunt him down.

Malcolm Reynolds is basically a darker version of Han Solo that also is perhaps the biggest walking case of post traumatic stress in history.

    An unfortunate truth.
  14. And with the Elemental costumes now comes the ability to make TRON: Legacy costumes.

I don't about these packs, think I'll wait awhile.
  15. I like that Udo Kier is in this. Among the many roles he's played was Yuri from Command an Conquer Red Alert 2......which as I recall had a lunar mission as well....

In my opinion it was only "OK." It was humorous at times, but for the most part it seemed like Pawn Stars New Jersey: Comic Book Division. I'll give the next episode or two a chance, but I don't see it lasting.

The one big problem I had with it was the values they were putting on things - $10,000 for a Bob Kane sketch of Batman and Robin? Seriously, ten grand? I could see a thousand, maybe fifteen hundred, but $10-thousand for a pair of head sketches? No way.
The value is what someone will pay for it. One persons sketch is another persons treasure.

Also the value was probably part of the show anyway and in reality may be different.

Latest news is that early reports indicate Xanax, other prescription drugs and alcohol. Coroner apparently has stated there wasn't enough water in her lungs to indicate drowning.

If this story is an accurate depiction of how well the 'new 52' is doing, that inevitable reversion is gonna hit a lot sooner than most folks think. Though they'll probably keep most of the costume changes with Jim & Dan still calling the shots.
Not surprising at all. I had a hunch this nuDC would be a flop.

    S.
Some people like to watch celebrities fall from grace. Some people do not intervene to help the celebrity because they likely don't want to get kicked off the gravy train for trying to help them, or they simply enjoy riding the gravy train and hope it doesn't get derailed. Also some celebrities/addicts don't realize they need help or just don't care.

The nanobot thing came from Star Trek First Contact and was later used in the Voyager episodes with the Borg. When they were working on Picard, it looked more like they were performing surgery to implant the devices and link him to the collective.

However I am not a fan of these franchise crossovers and hope this doesn't happen.

Oh..... I think I have an idea as to what happened... Houston took a medication (legal or otherwise) and thought that getting into a tub of hot water would make her feel a little better... The problem with doing that and not realizing that a rise in body temperature causes the medication to actually become more potent....and more than likely with the organ damage (ie heart) that was done while she was using cocaine...her heart simply gave out.....

Please realize this is just an opinion and I am not a doctor or in the medical profession. I am just recalling some things that I have read in regards to medicines and then getting into a tub of hot water.....
Well last I read was pill bottles were found, she was in the tub, no direct signs of foul play. Coroner states they can proceed with funeral arrangements and has ruled out foul play, toxicology report in the usual 4 to 8 weeks. So if it's all true then yes I'd think something similar to Heath Ledger.
  22. There is a news site that shows she was heavily partying on Thursday and she was being escorted out of the club, and well.....it was clear she wasn't quite sober. Update reports are indicating prescription drug use and possible drowning.

    Sad end.
  23. I still chuckle when I watch the JLU episode when Supergirl and Green Arrow discover she was cloned.

    Supergirl: "It's...me!"

Green Arrow: "Uhmmm a little more.....mature...then you , but yeah."

Besides why complain about the costume change, it will eventually get reverted quite likely along with the DC Universe reset that is also inevitable.

Yes but luckily, you only need to do the one contact Ganymede or Scratch and not both for DJ Zero to attune you to valentine drops if you have already done the missions before. Saves a little time from having to run then both.
