  1. i hear divine says his is pretty good
  2. runs back to base and tells therm his HE is bugged. Aim + HE = Auto Hit HE go check it out.
  3. Grav/FF takes more exp and skill to be as annoying as a /TA user. Cages lasts 5 sec and lol Wormhole
  4. against brutes this will work against some tanks sonic/rad may not work as well as a therm.

on the subject... if DR is on, more ATs can be competitive in 8v8 matches because it brings ATs such as blaster down to a relatively similar level of performance. However, this is at the expense of downsizing certain ATs.

On the other hand with DR on we'll see alot more homogenized team make up like before (this maybe a good thing for many as they've already invested in a FoTM). I believe DR gives the ladder an oppurtunity to bring in more ATs and therefore more strategies in Team PvP.

I vote for DR being on, heal suppression off, and TS off (to represent skilled healers and more strategy variety)

Did you read my post and test it yourself? Thats all I ask.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I did read it. Certain disruption builds along with a good healer and blasters can very well stop 5 spines stalkers and their one dimensional strategy, at least with the current spines damage in impale.
  6. I like how RttC interupts aid self and AS... senseless violence i tell you.

  8. i'd go with necro/poison and a /therm or /rad corr. Weaken and heal suppression will lower the heals of your target while rad debuffs or heat loss lowers their damage or tohit and end recov. If your target attempts to fight back he will most certainly lose. Single out enemies, trap them and kill them i would recomend one of you guys having webnade as well.
  9. inv is only good on tanks with high regen. I've done the some numbers checking and Inv for scrappers does not gain enough HP back and on brutes they can't take sustained dmg like a tank does. They both need aid self to compete, but getting aid self on a melee toon just makes you into a fight clubber.

Why does RttC have such a low taunt value compared to the other auras? Is this intentional?

    [/ QUOTE ]

yes, i think for thematic and balance reasons.
  11. get aid self and watch the brute use aid self, actually the two of you should not even attack anymore just hug and continually use aid self.
  12. AaO used to be on the same lvl as Rttc but castle heard us out and made it better, though at lower lvls or w/o IOs SD has a hard time with that much agro.
  13. DB bad
    SR bad
    Regen good enough
scrappers w/o taunt not good enough.
  14. Psi and fire have better DPS but Sonic does have better burst and is better on teams

    (lol) Fightclub

There are a whole host of ways you can defeat a bots/traps MM, however, running straight to the MM and constantly punching him in the face is not one of the ways to defeat an MM.
  16. bots and thugs seem to have the highest DPS and zombies are most survivable.

    Dom Pvp

    psw may get nerfed

However! It does seem like getting all around defense from IO sets is the way to go. had a great time in RV and although I'm still gettin destroyed the challenge is fun for folks like myself, I welcome it.

this is a warning. DO NOT invest in or build for defense if you are going to PvP. Diminishing Returns practically caps your defense at 13~14 percent which is practically nothing against players who are constantly at 102% to-hit with 156% accuracy. The Best kind of survival is +HP, Phase Shift, Hibernate, Dull Pain like powers, Powers that give elusivity like Frozen Armor, Invisibility, Resistance based powers, and most importantly a Good escape (and chase) travel power. Defense is NOT on the list for your blaster AT.
  19. i would agree. Although it's a lot easier now a days to play a Fire/SS and do well, an Inv can keep up in all cases or even surpass a fire tank in many senarios but the Player behind the Inv has to know what he and his suroundings are doing at all times. In other words it takes a bit more skill to be effective on an Inv and it takes a lot more to be better than a fire tank. In the end i stand behind Inv as the better tank if both tanks are PvP IOed and Purped with an extremely good player behind it. At the same time I recomend fire for 98% of the PvP players
  20. I would go with DM/Inv or WP brute (DM has that fear factor and brutes are sturdy like vampires and theres a drain life power in DM as well) with super speed, stealth pool including phase shift, fitness, and maybe fly or jump depending on what vampire or vampire form you are. Patron powers likely would be soul mastery ofcourse.

    FF/Elec

jump kick and flurry will do some decent damage in PvP now.
