fire/rad corr pvp build help

anyone have a good fire/rad corr pvp build?

i tried posting on the corr board, but didnt get any help.

i keep hearing that the /rad set is the new fotm for pvp, which is fine, even tho ive had a fire/rad corr since 05. ive never really pvpd in cov, but am looking to start.

any help would be appreciated.

explanations on power selection/slotting would be great as well

They are decent at disruption, at least from what I have seen. Take mace mastery and nade and toggle everything in sight.

Fire/Rad does insane dmg very fast. Flares is your best friend. I Don't have any of my Mid's builds with me, or else i would post it. Just make sure you go Scorpion to get the Defense shield to go along with RI, and web cacoon for the mez. Rad takes alot of skill to play now though..i don't recommend if your just starting out to PVP that you roll rad. Rad really dominates in RV if you play it right. You just have to know who to rad and when to rad it.

rad as been gimp since i13, comparing to pre i13 that is. sure the toggles are still nice but its not worth the headache since your gonna be the farm target in zones, in arena it be ok for duels, but any good end drainer would give you probs or something with crazy burst dam like a blaster

in i14 it was buffed. its now pretty good

all that got buffed was its -to hitt, but thats still gets dropped every 10 sec by any mez

i think ive got a decent build in mind, my biggest problem is slotting to maximize what the set can do in pvp...

but hey, im a cov noob again and might have the most ineffective build ever. me am ignorant of all the changes the games gone through over the last year or so.

Blasters give problems to any corr.

It is probably the only heroes' class u can't win at same skill level.

But now point is, why fire? If u are making apvp toon why not rad or sonic?

Blasters still do decent damage and are still a threat to any squishe. Rad and sonic does more damage yeah, but fire is still decent.

Fire does more dps then sonic and rad on corrupter. You will kill your target faster.

Divine,

I would also like to see what a good PVP build for fire/rad would look like. I'm just starting to get back into PVP, I used to roll a Ice/Dark and that was before IO's, HO's and set bonuses. To show you I have no clue what I'm doing with pvp builds, below is something I conjured up. No clue how to use the HO's or what bonuses to look for. I'm guessing +recharge +dmg +regen? Either way I would appreciate some help. Thanks.
