    things are "balanced" In fight clubbing atm which means tanks have a decent chance of killing a brute and a brute has a decent chance of killing scrappers and vice versa. Fix fury and Brute> all other melee. Complaints will flame up, everyone will roll a brute, RV + SC dies and warburg becomes the only PvP zone. Do you really want that?   4. singy sometimes messes with the flow of things with its hold but for the most part its good extra damage because he spams mostly lift and crush and that will counter most players regen rate. watch out for confuse, it doesn't last long but you might need to jump away from singing at times. It also a bad move on their part to confuse sing as in the 2.5 sec animation they're using, you can pump out 2 attacks and jump away from singy. also the amount of damage siny can do during that confuses duration won't even match what the dom or troller could have done to u in 2.5 sec. So yes summon him but keep a close eye on him.

DB/Rad vs any fotm blaster you'll need to use a strategy where you can use attrition to you advantage. dark blast is not good on a rad since you have a heal already. oranges will work better than lucks but use one at a time only. Use any cover and hit and run and heal while keeping him naded and debuffed. eventually he'll have to use hiber after he's running low on greens. count to 20 pop 3 reds, but don't go to town he still has more dmg than you no matter how many reds u used lol. once again use cover nades and debuffs heal after every attack that hits u and use LoS to make sure he cant chain attacks on you. Blasters have only a long recharge heal and hiber so this is why you need the reds for that very important 60 sec. Ur main advantage over him is that you can naturally regain more HP than he can. so once you killed him once nade debuff heal run and make sure you survive the rest of the round. this strategy doesn't work on every AT though kk GLHF
  6. Yes Dahjee, its true that peoples preferences differ and I respect that (I think so does Mac). The thing that I dont respect is that when I prefer to play my way (which i have every right because im not breaking the game's rules) and the other player yells, rages, belittles, lectures, and cusses at me for my play style or preference, that's when they need to cool off and realize I've done nothing wrong. Here's the deal, everyplayer has the right and should exercise their right to play however they like to as long as they abide by the mechanic of the game itself and not perform any exploits. Exploits, however, should be determined by the devs not by players. Yes, it's that simple.

    Oh and stacked siphon speed and a webnade can still slow anyone, including tanks, down to i12 levels you should test that out mac.

    as long as a fm/regen goes weapons mastery there's no reason to be anything but fm or spines because webnade>all other mezz. Elec maybe more usful vs very noobish squishies or end intensive drawn out melee fights but thats about it.

    If you play with Travel Supression and Heal Decay on: you can actualy get kills on competent players, because they are too surpressed to be competent. But, alas, that's no fun at all.

    If you play with Travel supression and Heal decay off: "Damage Dealers" don't actualy do enough damage to break healers' heals. So, you get no kills - also no fun.

    It's really a shame.

    This is why i play with TS off but HD on. It's still fun and things with lesser skills die. If and when they ever give the option to turn off free pvp resistance, HD can then be turned off.

  15. -target callers can be Doms, MMs, or Stalkers on red side. (unless u are extremely skilled as support, disruption, or taunter i'd stick with those.)

    -most of ur teams damage comes from doms, stalkers, and corrs.

    -pretty much all support comes from corrs.

    -taunters are only useful if the brute is very skilled and know exactly whats going on.

    an easy mode villain side 8 man team would look like:

    3 corr
    2 dom
    3 stalk

    or if you guys have quite some skill:

    1 MM
    1 Brute
    2 corr
    1 dom
    3 stalk
  16. tho TA for corrs are good i dont think the trend will go for that. We'll most likely see one TA corr in RV at a time. There will most likely be a lot more rad/ems and therm MMs.

    Dear Warhamster

    They need to make Freedom, and whatever other high PvP populated server into "PvP servers" where all zones that border RI and Paragon become pvp/PvE zones. The "PvE servers" can get waves of NPCs for RPing purposes. If you dont get what im talking about, you can ask meh. oh yeah! and 3 free transfers for all.

    As far as the original topic, Freedom RV zone population has been steadily rising compared to i12 ever since i14. Not i13 but i14... at least that from my observations constantly being in RV.
  18. mace has webnade which can be very useful at times. This all depends if you team or not. Hiber and phase almost guarantees ur escape in zone pvp tho.

  20. yeah the melee toons u fought against a not smart like you said (If they were smart like you said they would have won). Most people who makes melee toons, did not want to use strategy to begin with and thats why they chose melee. melee ATs, although still at a disadvantage especially in team PvP can be very effective in the right hands.

    you can always wait till rogue comes out and ofcourse therm will be poliferated to defenders soon. As far as the original question goes, a kin/elec defender can get a targets end down to 0 much faster than a therm but the therm can concentrate on attacks rather than constantly sapping end.
  22. if your going /cold i would suggest Ice as your primary for good reasons.
  23. If you only slot heals and interupts, you might as well not have aidself since 2 small insps will cover that. You need to include recharge reducers as well to gain back enough health to matter. I would suggest IOs, if you can't afford them, buy doctored wounds and five slot that with heals and recharges as the focus. Next buy a Interupt IO and slot that in for the last slot. If you can only afford SOs, slot 3 heals, 2 recharge, and one interupt IO.
