my sub renewed on aug 25th for 3 month plan, so i will be VIP until nov 25th

i like westin phipps arc, the first mish is to destroy schoolbooks (ive always hated schoolbooks and how much they cost in college)

the rest of it is kind of meh, its more of a subtle evil, while im more direct like at the end of ssa1 where i attack the conference

most of ssa1 IMO is not that evil, hell you dont even get to kill statesman

i friended everyone here, i may not have played on justice but that doesnt mean you guys mean any less to me

this was my first mmo as well, i have tried some other free mmos but none of them held my interest the same way this game has

coh has always been my primary mmo, its the only mmo ive ever been willing to spend a significant amount of time/money on

all the other mmos never fit me, they were too grindy, or too focused on having uber gear, this mmo never really felt grindy or gear focused

what they need coders for is to help reverse engineer the game code to make a private server so we can at least continue playing the game if all the other routes taken are for naught

ive spent more time on here than most other games combined, the only other games that ive been able to actually play more than 40 hours are the super smash bros games (melee at about 3000 hours and brawl at about 1000 hours)

from the sound of things, after day 2 of the closure notice ncsoft has already received a LOT of bad publicity

bad publicity + community spirit = one very bad place for ncsoft

my sister is actually a very talented artist, i talked to her some today and she would potentially be interested in taking commissions, she was setting up her deviant art page to preview some of her other work

i will update this tomorrow with her deviant art URL

i think the titan forums will be my next hangout when all this comes to pass, i would even be willing to start giving my sub to them as donation every month

im doing my best to maintain composure and alignment with the forum rules

however im not gonna be going out on a happy note, the only way i would be able to go out happy is to see this game stay alive and im supporting/willing to help with anything possible to make that a reality, if i can leave one mark in the world i want to be known as one of those who valiantly fought to save the City of Heroes(Villains)

the devs made our imaginations and desires real, while us as players grew together as a family

the devs were more than just devs, they were friends working with us towards a common goal of superhero (or super villain)dom

i will do whatever i can to help keep this alive

im more of a villain lol, but in this time of crisis i will do whatever it takes to keep this game alive, villains cant be villains if there is no world to rule

i am fully supporting the petition as well as tony in the efforts to start a kickstarter and to not keep all eggs in one basket, assisting the valve email campaign

im sitting at 1384, i REALLY wanted to be able to break 1400 soon but it looks like ncsoft has to go shatter dreams and families

it looks like many of those players who posted are also part time coh players, however i do agree that even those that havent played coh are now reconsidering their views on ncsoft

while i never got a chance to play in game with you, it was a very nice experience to get to meet you and the several other players who were at the MD meet/greet earlier this year

i only wish that i could have afforded to go to more of those

all the devs on this game were the best ever, very communicative with the playerbase always telling us when stuff was happening and always wanting to give us the best quality work

SHamster spends too much time on his 50s grinding incarnate stuff lol
