IIRC i recall a dev (posi i believe) saying that powersets are hardcoded at character creation and giving us the ability to change them would be a monumental task that would not be worth the effort

the dire wolf prolly chugs end cause he has almost identical powers to the umbral beast and that one also chugs end
with 2 end reductions in the summon i managed to get umbral beasts end under control -
ice IMO is worlds better than SR, it has a heal an end drain a good tier 9, and slow immunity (slow immunity is better than 20% rech bonus)
the only real hole that ice armor has is psi dmg and its DDR isnt as strong as SR -
i would prolly guess that staff fighting is within the next week or 2, i figure next week will prolly be staff fighting, week after will be the team transport power, and amongst that will be the additional xp boosters most likely
i think within the next 2 weeks we will also be getting the salute to statesman loyalty rewards -

The main purpose of slotting it for damage at all is to keep your dps flowing while you heal.
Just for comparison:
Unslotted Life Drain: 101.7 hp
Unslotted Life Drain+ GS: 177.5 hp
Life Drain w/ 99% heal: 202.5 hp
Life Drain w/ 99% heal + GS: 278.3 hp
Life Drain w/ 99% heal + GS + Spiritual: 302.4 hp
3x Devastation 3x TotN = 73.25 dmg; 195.1 hp
3x Devastation 3x TotN + GS = 87.19 dmg; 270.9 hp
99% dmg, 0% heal = 95.62 dmg, 101.7 hp
TL;DR: Ignoring the heal component is bad. You're missing out on alot of potential. The tiny bit of extra damage you're getting for a non primary dps ability isn't worth losing out on 100+ extra hp/activation. -

i doubt it would, in the detailed info it says unaffected by enhances or buffs on the def so HOs wouldnt even help since it ignores everything slotted

lvl 30 HOs would be about as popular as titan or hydra Os, nobody would ever want or care about them really unless as zombie man suggests and they make them attuned

they shouldnt, all auras on a stalker suppress while hidden
now it *might* break hide if you are talking about the stalker ATO proc hide -
on my dark dom i slotted it purely for dmg, with very short rech on the power boost like power i can almost always have a boosted heal when needed

The only reason they were nerfed in the first place was that they were too powerful -before- ED was in place to control them. I have always felt that if HOs were restored to their former glory that there would be far more interest in Hami raids to get them.

i actually enjoy the sounds of this game, the only ones as of yet which have annoyed me enough to actually go through and silence them are the dog/cat noises of the beast mastery and umbral beast
personally i dont see where most of the demons hate comes from the only time they get slightly annoying is when they are idle too long but i usually keep them dismissed if im idle -

They are not fine the way they are because you can get the same benefit by slotting an IO and get set bonuses as well from IOs. If you choose to continue using them that's your decision. But it's one that will cost you (or whoever is selling the HOs you buy) an incredibly disproportionate amount of time and effort.
membrane HOs still can fir the role of helping get perma mind link since the rech component still reduces mind link rech (and the dom APP version link minds)
they are also still good for poeple who would rather frankenslot than use a set in a certain power, ect, since some HOs can fill holes that most IOs cant -
they have potential to, the one fluffy that spawns stuff is essentially an AV ranked mobile cyst crystal, they both use the same power which generates unbound nictus per every pet and player thats within the range of the aoe pulse

hami raids to me have always been kinda awful rewards, the only "good" reward that i can use is the 53 reward merits
why bother getting an HO from a hami raid when i can do a LRSF/STF with 8 poeple and finish in less time with less effort? (less time cause i include forming) -
if you dont aggro him then most of the fluffies wont do anything anyway, the heal nictus will constantly be popping off heals but as long as you dont aggro him before the confuse then most of the fluffies wont do anything

i know the dmg from lift is usually delayed a few seconds, only lift and propel have the additional dmg and its only applied when used after a gravity hold (single target or aoe)

I think many people avoid his arcs, though, because he has you facing EBs a little often to start, and Ice Mistral can be a pain to take down multiple times. Ghost Widow is worse, though, because of her heal and hold/intangible.
i usually like running the ones with more AVs in them cause the AVs are fun lol -

rommy can be slept, when i solo ITFs i usually perma confuse rommy to kill off his nictus since i usually run with a mind dom
i dont think you would be able to perma confuse him with seeds of confusion cause its too long rech and the nictus are essentially immune to confuse
