  1. dark dark is ok without perma, i have it perma and the only really noticeable power that used with the domination is the mass hold and the fearsome stare

    as for mind energy, definitely get perma, mind is insanely powerful with perma (my mind fire perma has solo'd tfs because of perma confusing the AVs)


    9/10 times i normally go for perma because of the mez protection, the extra mez stuff is nice too but mez protection is what i go for normally
  2. shouldnt need more than 2 range enhancers, and one tree of clarion has +range in it too

    since you have to do that in a league if you have 10+ people just snipe at same time it nearly 1 shots the bomb anyway
  3. to answer the questions:

    1. i think its 80 ft for when they start counting down

    2. they can be killed in melee but you would have to kill them before they blew up (ie <10 sec)

    3. i think 24 bombs total
  4. i think beam rifle got the top deal out of the blast sets with the bypass interrupt on the snipe since the snipe is 100% chance to spread disintegration

    sets without snipes prolly got the lower boot there



    in terms of the blaster secondaries i think all of them made out well but the top set would prolly be devices due to targeting drone (oddly enough) lol
  5. the 4 stack max is only for the debuff, DoT from interfaces have higher stack limits i think around 8

    and the question i be posing to you for min maxing, what are you planning to do? if you are looking to do a lot of tough target fighting (AVs, GMs, ect) then you do NOT want anything that does a debuff, it will be resisted out the wazoo

    if your just going for general gameplay (mostly fighting minion through boss) then any of them will work great and you should get something to either cover a weakness or play to a strength

    once you go perma you wont want to go back lol


    that being said its not necessarily required to be perma to play a dom, but why would you NOT want to perma mez protection, double mag mezzes, and extra duration on mezzes? lol
  7. difficulty wise my toons usually increase the spawn size before increasing the enemy level

    however for stealthy toons like stalkers increasing the enemy level before spawn size is preferable due to lack of aoe
  8. i actually never considered .5 end/sec really heavy compared to many other powers that we have which use double that base

    superior invis, hot feet, choking cloud, venemous gas, and a few others use around 1.04 end/sec at base and even at ED capped end reduction still use around .54 end/sec

    focused accuracy uses .78 end/sec base and its effect is MUCH less than the hybrid powers lol


    i also agree that incarnate powers are supposed to make our characters stronger, and even if hybrid was a perma toggle it wouldnt be able to really do that much even if they continued to give the passive boost along with the ability to perma toggle
  9. i think the best way to solve what your looking for is to make it so that the illusionists stop phasing when mezzed

    currently they phase regardless of what effects are on them including mezzes which is the most annoying since other enemies dont get tier 9 effects and whatnot when they get mezzed

    i remember that, and i gave my feedback saying i liked it that way and it was fine

    then they changed it and every post i made about hybrid since then has been nothing but my dislike for it, they took a perfectly good power and gutted it for no reason really

    with themselves, so you can use envenom more than once per target, although i have heard that the debuff can stack with the splash, so you can debuff the main target and debuff the guy next to them so they will get 1.5x the normal debuff cause it stacks with the splash which is half strength of the main debuff

    thats the part that sucks about poison, the debuffs are very minor to begin with

    if you hit a baddy with it, it does -30% def and resist and you cant stack it again unless you happen to get the splash on them for additional -15% debuff, the debuff itself only lasts for 30 sec too so its really hard to judge when its worn off
  12. i must be one of the few poeple who love dark assault more than dark control then lol

    dark assault imo is pretty comparable to fire assault, not as high of dmg but many similar powers but dark assault also does tohit debuff

    dark control is ok but its kind of disapointing, cone immob, the awful umbral beast, pbaoe stun...idk it just feels like things were thrown together and things work against each other like the cone immob and the pbaoe stun, you cant be in pbaoe range and effectively use the immob and likewise you cant use the stun from range to set up the immob
  13. i think the biggest problem with hybrid is that it is weaker than most of the other incarnate powers and yet it is only useable 50% of the time with an almost negligible passive buff

    if it was active all the time either as a perma toggle or a passive, i would put it on equal ground with interface, but as it is now i agree with most poeple that it is destiny 2.0 with half the uptime and half the benefit of destiny
  14. i think its possibly an oversight or a bug, cause most tier 9 armors like unstop and whatnot all allow you to slot for end mod even though thats prolly not the best thing to slot it for

    its possibly that when they altered how lightform performed they forgot to either remove the tag to allow enhancements to have effect or the tag which allows you to slot end mod in the power if it is intended to not be affected by end mod
  15. i think its a decent set, the only thing i REALLY hate about the set is the umbral beast

    the beast is VERY noisy, does terrible dmg, and dies very easily, and the worst of all its a freaking dog, which i feel is not even close to being dark themed

    to make it easier to see, i am gonna rate it on aspects with 1 being worst and 10 being best

    pet: 1/10 for reasons mentioned above

    control: 6/10, the set utilizes a lot of soft control and the immob is a cone instead of a target aoe

    useablity (how well powers work with each other): 7.5/10, the sets powers work pretty well together and utilize a lot of -tohit and can work in many situations

    overall: 5/10, its not the best control set but its not terrible either so i would rate it pretty smack in the middle
  16. playing with the dog silenced is definitely the way to go but the dog is still very disappointing, it is incredibly weak both offensively and defensively, i use it more for an aggro shield than to actually help me, and when it dies half the time i forget to resummon it cause i can kill most mobs almost faster with out it

    and yes im still very disappointed that we didnt get something more theme specific, this dog should have been in beast mastery or a vanity pet, not in dark control, it ruined the set for me
  17. iirc flurry already has a chance to stun but its only like a 10-20% chance of maybe a mag 2 stun or something really worthless

    for the presence pool i dont see how that at all relates to the current presence pool and with it as you suggest you couldnt enhance the first 3 powers at all, plus everyone would end up taking it only for the inf and xp boosts and then respec out of it at lvl 50

    in your flight pool suggestion, fly and group fly do not have -acc ot -tohit so it wouldnt be countering anything

    i like the fighting pool changes except maybe tweaks needed on the new 5th power

    in the leaping pool im pretty sure the jump kick already has a chance for .67 mag knockback which is knockdown, but its only a 10-20% chance

    in the concealment i dont think we can have a power which reduces our activation times, powers have to be designed with both activation times so that wouldnt be feasible

    pretty much anything that i didnt mention here should be ok but i still dont see myself using most of them, the biggest one i would start using is fighting pool because i would be able to skip boxing or kick
  18. you can only get and run any villain arc as a villain or a rogue

    the same can be said for hero arcs only being doable as a hero or vigilante


    and to answer the rest of your question you can only run ONE patron arc per toon

    /this, ship raids are pretty easy to get together and run, just have to be sure to kill all the pylons <30 min after the first one goes down and then minimal direction once poeple are on the ship

    my ill cold has killed all GMs except for the flying ones like arachnos flier and seed of hamidon because PA dont work well in the air
  23. another note is that ultimates do not make pets higher level if you summon after using an ultimate as shown here
  24. i knew the math behind debuffs and stuff, when i said he was immune i wasnt kidding
  25. i built my toon more for solo use lol, honestly even on teams i forget to use the shields most of the time unless its right at beginning of the mish or when we are about to fight big like in LRSF
