Toss me in the maybe / fill out role if you like as I can't really commit; I'm not always around for the Hami raids as it is.

But I can bring a rad troller, Cold defender, Traps Corr, or a Bane (he's got some decent debuffs too!) but none have Hybrid unlocked and none have any really useful Lore pets. I can't see having enough play time to unlock/slot Hybrid as it is, so I'm pretty sure the Lore pet situation wouldn't change either.

If you'd *rather* have the super powered awesomeness of my Scrapper I badge with, I could very well do that too since he has the necessary accesseries.

I've already forgotten about most of you

I will sign up again with either my Ill/Rad or my PB (only +3s I have).

However, I need to sign up as a maybe. I still don't even know if I'll make it to the Hami raid.

But if I am online, I will help.

I will be there with a debuffer. /rad troller, /cold corr, or I will be with my cold 'fender again.

Can I join on Maxwell Blast? Tanker +3 with ultimates

Also what time is that hami raid so I know when to be online?

based on discussions in this thread, it appears that tyrant is immune to -regen, the only real way to kill him is sheer dps as well as -resist since his resistances are actually fairly low

i think he only has about 25% resist to everything base and his regen at around 13% is up to about 1024 hp/sec

just throwing this info out there as a note for future runs

You may, although as things stand this is looking fairly unlikely to get off the ground :/, hasn't been much interest so far.

Hami raid is usually at 9pm eastern, so we will be forming from 9.30 onward.

Lingering Radiation = 1.67 regeneration debuff.

LR on an even con lv50 AV with inherent 85% regeneration debuff resistance
1.67 * .15 = .25 regeneration debuff, which is good enough to cut the AV's regeneration by about 76%.

LR on a +4 lv54 AV with inherent 87% regeneration debuff resistance
1.67 * .13 * .48 (purple patch) = .104 regeneration debuff, which will drop the AV's regeneration rate by about 32%.

I have no clue what Tyrant's inherent regeneration debuff is (he's lv53+6, so 86%?), but if you plug in the numbers with players fighting at a five-level difference due to an Ultimate inspiration, then LR is
1.67 * .14 * .3 (purple patch) = .07 regeneration debuff, which will drop the AV's regeneration rate by about 21%. If you don't have an Ultimate popped, that number is getting halved.

So LR and other regeneration debuffs are going to have very little effect on a +6 AV, meaning Ultimate inspirations, resistance debuffs, and damage buffs are incredibly important in this fight.

However, if Tyrant is actually completely immune to regeneration debuffs like Amygdala's screenshots suggest (hadn't see them until last night), then we're wasting DPS by emphasizing powers and attacks with a regeneration debuff component. That runs counter to just about every AV/GM fight in the game, but it's nice to see a boss fight where spamming massive amounts of regeneration debuff isn't strategy #1.

Also, I haven't brought my SOA into the Magisterium to mess around with Surveillance, but I'd guess -regen is still helpful for the other AVs in the trial.

Will double-check math later, need to run.

I'm all over this IF I am home in time.. my wife tells me we'll be leaving the outlaws house at the Hami raid start time, so with any luck I should log in just as this is forming. If you are still forming when I get home and are looking for reliable league mates I'll send a tell.

I don't think that's the case. Tyrant definitely had Regeneration Debuff Resistance added during the beta after the first RHW group cleaned his clock with laughable speed, but he's not supposed to be immune to the debuff altogether.

I think I heard he ignores 75% of every -Regen debuff applied to him, but that wasn't from a redname, so I'm note sure how factual that is.

Despite being common knowledge among players, it took almost four years for the devs to notice and fix the Honoree's broken resistance cap (along with Reichsman, Marauder, and several others). Intentional or otherwise, there is precedent for something like this.

This tyrant is designed to be completely invulnerable in that mission. . . how do we know this is the tyrant we are fighting in the trial ?

EDIT: Scratch that actually, his invulnerability comes from that untouchable ability he has.

i knew the math behind debuffs and stuff, when i said he was immune i wasnt kidding

Right, Tyrant from the personal story mission is NOT Tyrant from the Magisterium trial. PM Arbiter Hawk about it if you're still concerned.

Well in any case, every power set which has a large regen debuff also has a significant resistance debuff (rad, cold, thermal, traps) . . . traps can also get tyrant to do that vomit thing so it interrupts his lightning. So it's not like any of those are bad to have.

I'd join but I only meet one of your three requirements. I have hybrid unlocked and slotted with assault. eng/eng blaster. If you need help let me know.

Something witty and profound

another note is that ultimates do not make pets higher level if you summon after using an ultimate as shown here

Sorry folks, but due to a lack of interest, I have decided to postpone this, not sure on a date for the next attempt yet. (This is based off of previous runs, which have worked when we had the teams set up previously. And as it is, we have 4 debuffers/buffers, not nearly enough).

I will (probably) be running trials after the hami raid though, if no-one else is (though they most likely won't be dedicated badge runs).

Again really sorry, I guess either Saturday is a bad day or most people who need it already have it,
