Quote:i do similar to this, except i use AE and stage AV fights (like LR vs states, LR vs ..., ect)I'll play "let's you and him fight" by aggroing hostile mobs into each other. Normally I'll do this by taunting Luddites into Arachnos patrols in CaD and see who wins (or Deathsurge if he's up.) The Ghost's huge mob is great for this when he's up since aggroing one aggros all. Pretty easy to turn Potter's field into a war zone.

Quote:bear in mind that you can only get travel at lvl 6 with vet reward (60 month badge)Take super speed at level 6 slot a celerity in it as soon as you can slot one. You get PvE invis that you will always have no matter what level you play at for a single power pick, a single slot, and minimal endurance use. you also get the fastest travel power (barring range boosted teleport) in the game.
otherwise the earliest you can get that is lvl 9 if you exemp -
Quote:i didnt use any kind of DoT type of dmg, and the enemies i used did entirely smashing dmgBest thing to do is to find something that does only one type of damage and that does not do DoTs when you farm your damage badge. From my observations, this is how it seems to work.
If you have say 800 bonus HP and you get hit for 1000 points in one hit that should count for a full 1000 points for the badge.
Now if you get hit for say 600 fire damage and then 400 smashing in one attack, depending on what is counted first you would get either 600 or 400 points since that amount is the amount that took you past the 800 bonus HP. Same idea with DoT attacks. Only the attack that went past your bonus HP and aything beyond count.
Although if they ever get the badges fixed to show all damage, then they need to bring back the higher badge numbers.
and since the hp bonus thing also makes dmg thats above base hp count if it drops the hp below base for full credit, then that just makes it more broken or a vain attempt to fix the hp bonus issue -
i think snipes are fine in current game because they are excellent pulling tools, and that is what a snipe is meant for, long range single target/small group pulling
sleeps-i just plain dont like them as they are currently, so any change would be welcome
phase powers-single target cage powers just need to make the enemy untargetable, other than that they are fine--for the AoE phases, they just need to be changed, they are of extremely situational in terms of actual good uses and when used are usually used badly, so i would favor a change to AoE phases -
i also finally finished the 100 mil dmg badge (i been nearly constantly dmg farming at least 2-4 days a week since i started this thread)
i finished the 25 and 50 mil before summer started and it took nearly all summer to finish the 100 mil
a LARGE reason why it took 5 months to finish those badges is due to hp bonuses (which i think is the biggest issue with the dmg badges is that they dont count credit at all or dont count it correctly)
i was running herostats while i was dmg farming so i could actually see how much i was losing, in an 8 hour period of dmg farming, i was taking ~8 mil dmg, but i was losing about half off that due to hp bonuses, so i was making 3-5 mil in dmg badge credit instead of the ~8 mil total dmg that i took
when you add that up, if i did say 10 sessions of 8 hours of gaining ~8 mil dmg per session
total dmg taken over 10 sessions: ~80 mil
total badge credit over the sessions: ~40 mil
lost credit due to hp bonuses: ~40 mil
which in that case i would then have to do ANOTHER 10 sessions of dmg farming to get to the original 80 mil dmg that i could have gotten if hp bonus issues didnt exist
hence the tedious issues because its taking approximately twice as long as it should to earn said badges -
Quote:the only change i would make to team tp would be to increase its base range, since 25 ft is nigh pointless, at least 75 ft base or even 100 ft would be better (but still less than self tp)Actually, if there is one pool power that is useless it's Team Teleport. It is much more efficient for the person to teleport themselves to the destination and then use Recall Friend (or Assemble Team if they have it) to bring everyone else.
Still, I don't necessarily think it should be removed. It's just one more power I don't need to worry about saving space for.

you can see if its autocompletable by talking to the contact that gave you the mish, the abandon button is in the mission tab because it has no limit and can be used on any mish
-
it has a chance to trigger everytime there is a kb applied to the enemy, if this is in a toggle like hurricane, ect, then it would check once every 10 sec
this proc is only worthwhile if you can keep it up a lot (ie be able to put it in almost every kb power you have so it will have more chances to activate)
the only downside to this is that the 100% rech it grants only lasts for 5 sec in itself, so even when you do get it to come up, it wont last long -
back in the day with the old sk system, i used group fly on a 50 to help lowbie friends get to mishs in grandville back before auction houses, back before you could buy a raptor pack in grandville
i would hit group fly then follow the lowbie to the mish because i would fly faster due to lvl difference and if they followed me they would fall usually
however, nowadays with supersidekick system, jetapcks everywhere group fly is a lot less needed but i do agree that its good for mm who have ranged pets, other than that pretty much useless unless you wanted it for the heck of it -
i dont even pay attention to day job passives anymore, cause for reason they dont last long enough to bother with, and cause the benefits they provided were minimal at best
i know usually logging in ouroboros is easy way to get time lord buff, but ill keep an eye out for the buff though to see if its bugged or not -
i think once you get the accolade you have to be logged out in the right location for more time, i think you need to stay logged off for at least 10 days to get the full 2 hours that the buff will stay active
if you ask me though, ALL of the auto power day job buffs are completely worthless because you have to spend an inordinate amount of time logged off for minimal use when logged in (2 hours of time logged in is maybe 1 tf or 2-4 paper mishs) -
im moving all 6 of my heros to redside (only thing thats gonna be painful is taking 2 days per toon to move them over)
-
if your looking for something that can hold its own against varied enemy groups, and being the main tank on hard hitting sf like LRSF, i would go with stone armor if you didnt mind the slight downsides of granite
if you dont want to do stone armor, then prolly invuln would be a good 2nd pick -
Quote:i agree with you 100%And if you are 15 seconds after the code announcement, you might as well forget about it.
Subjective feedback:
I -hate- these giveaways as all they do is cause frustration.
these type of contests are very unfair to poeple who have a problem loading the webpage or have slower loading times on web pages (i dont have problem with slow loading, but web pages failing to load randomly affects everyone) -
the only way is if the person running left a comment after each run (since you are allowed 1 comment per run even if you ran, rated, and commented before)
-
thats actually pretty neat, should actually try to get poeple to set up and play chess (or if they let us put NPCs in the bases lol)
-
if you get tickets but no new plays, then thats poeple replaying the arc who have already rated it, the plays number only counts how many ratings its gotten, but it doesnt count poeple who already rated it
-
Quote:that actually sounds quite epic, but im sure you would have to have it custom made, as far as i know they dont have any arachnos flier models or anything out there lolHmm....
Well if someone knows where I could get a good sized model of the Arachnos Flyer
(say 12" long by 8" high or so) [cheaply!], I could mod it up to hold a nano system
or maybe a micro-atx based board.
Add some lights and a sound effect generator for the pew-pew
and it could be interesting. -
i have a bot/pain mm, and you dont have to worry too much about solo vs team build since if you build for support, solo you support your pets, on teams you support the team and then your pets
when your solo, your pets are your attacks/dmg if you want to think about it like that so you can build with minimal or no attacks and just focus on your pets
most other sets you can usually build the same way because you can always think of your pets as your dmg, and thats an advantage that mm's have over corrs is they have pets and dont have to focus on attacks unless they want to do something crazy like be a petless mm -
to me when i read the OP it looked like they were talking about the streakbreaker
the streakbreaker is whats forcing a miss every so often regardless of acc, def, tohit, anything
honestly i hate the streakbreaker as well, cause it makes def based toons near useless in some places like the mass ambush in cuda sf
i dont mind having the 5% chance to miss or the enemies 5% chance to hit for min/max type of deal because it would be too much to have all powers be autohit or have powers that never hit, but the streakbreaker kind of nullifies this whole thing, why bother having acc or tohit if your forced to be hit or forced to miss every so many attacks, if you knew you would miss on your 5th attack every time, then just use a really low cost/power attack then. since the streakbreaker forces a miss or hit every so often, if you keep track of how many attacks you used then you could almost break the system always hitting with your hard hitters and using your weaker powers to "skip" by the streakbreaker -
i think they are both fairly similar playing, as in they both have strengths and weaknesses
thugs is pretty good dmg, but only if you can buff the thugs to help them stay alive, because the leadership from the enforcers is nowhere near as effective as pool leadership and they have no other buffs or heals outside of the leadership, effectively making them weaker, and i noticed this a ton on a thug/TA mm i was working on at one point, but hated the toon after awhile because i had to resummon almost EVERY spawn because the thugs would die so much, i deleted the toon and remade as a thug/thermal and have been having no problems due to the res buffs and heals from thermal, so in my opinion thugs are good, but only work effectively with certain powersets.
demons on the other hand, have their own buff,s their own heals, and the more control they generate also keeps them alive a little longer, and from what ive seen they work great with any secondary set and are excellent when paired with debuff sets like TA, traps, and poison, the demons themselves also have some -res on their attacks, at least the hellfire type demons do and the hell on earth giving a buff to demon to do more dmg and spawn more pets which do pretty decent dmg
demons as a whole maybe slightly lower on dmg, but they have tons more survivability which means you dont have to pay as much attention to them as to other pets, the thugs may have slightly better dmg, but when you have to resummon a lot depending on your secondary, thats not fun in my opinion
well thats my 2 cents -
Quote:very nice, i wasnt having too many issues with that since i know what im looking for and such, but this did stand out to me when i went to get enhances in RWZ today so i wanted to point it outDon't know how much it would help but it only took me a few minutes to wipe this up:

Magic, Mutant, Natural, Science and Tech. I think the colors are different enough.
Here are the files if anyone wants them. -
i think this is really helpful pack and such, makes getting enhances quite a bit easier
however, theres 2 places where it can get a little confusing, one place is the RWZ vendor and other place is the cim vendor because both of those have SOs for ALL origins, and if you didnt learn the names then you have to find the ones with the right borders which can be a tad small and some of them sort of blend together sometimes -
to throw in my 2 cents, i usually like dark consumption more because it actually does dmg to the enemies too
power sink is nicer cause it is faster rech, but if your not hurting for end then go for the dark consumption cause it can also be used as an attack as well -
