Proc help!

Hi guys,

I'm a rather veteraned player, but have not had that many experiences with IO procs. My query is if the Force Feedback: Chance for +Recharge proc is always in play or if it has to be triggered through use of the power.
The reason I ask is because I'm having a toon which I'd like to have perma-hasten, and that proc is pretty needed for it. Thus, I would, if the abovementioned proc isn't universal, appreciate it if anyone could recommend another useful +rech solution.

Thanks for your interest ^^

It has to be triggered, but that doesn't necessarily make it worthless. Footstomp is a great power for that particular proc, for instance.

it has a chance to trigger everytime there is a kb applied to the enemy, if this is in a toggle like hurricane, ect, then it would check once every 10 sec

this proc is only worthwhile if you can keep it up a lot (ie be able to put it in almost every kb power you have so it will have more chances to activate)

the only downside to this is that the 100% rech it grants only lasts for 5 sec in itself, so even when you do get it to come up, it wont last long

It should also be noted that this proc has a cooldown period after activation, so you don't necessarily want it to be activating all the time. See the ParagonWiki article for the proc.

I've got one in my Grav/Empath in Psi Tornado, and it triggers quite frequently.

At best its going to be up 1/3 of the time, providing +33% recharge for those long cooldown powers like Hasten. In practice, I doubt its giving more than +20% when spammed on a map for 8.

You can replace this with the recharge buff from a supergroup empowerment station, if you persuade your leader to put one in (or are your own leader). It means ducking into the base every hour, but its a pretty good bonus for a "flavour" buff.

There's all of these:

which you're probably aware of since you're building for perma-Hasten.
Purple sets for sleep and confuse are good cheapies (comparatively), sometimes your choice of epis can open up these. And World of Confusion (Controller/Defender epic) becomes much better with the Contagious Confusion proc, if thats relevant.

And don't forget Geas of the Kind Ones and the villain equivalent, which can give you a shortlived recharge boost (+100% every 25 minutes). These refresh surprisingly quickly on high recharge builds.

Well, ty 4 the good tips guys. In case you'd be interested, then the character in question is a DP/Traps corr, whom I've given SS and, since I don't feel like capping her defenses, have decided to try and perma hasten.

doesn't seem like that toon would benefit as much from perma hasten as it would soft cap

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

Perhaps not, but in the current build I get the most rech from the FF proc(s), so I still have my def boosted quite a bit.
