i recently completed my ill/colds build with 213% global rech, with the tier 4 spiritual alpha i have perma PA by about 2 sec, perma heat loss by about 2 sec, perma benumb by about 5 sec and can easily stack sleet on baddies
i went with the ice APP so i could sit at range and ice storm while i have a decent defensive barrier for larger groups
the only thing that could make him better would be for the devs to fix the phantasm AI so he doesnt run into melee range constantly -
i think the core of this problem is the fact that the rating system is flawed, the hall of fame requirements are flawed, and the search/filtering interface is flawed
if poeple could filter out farms that would help authors find stuff they actually want to play
if the rating system was fixed, they would make non farms be able to get somewhere
if the hall of fame requirements were changed, we would see more of them pop up, and if they were smart about it would just disallow farms from getting hall of fame status
i also agree with supafreak, i am a mediocre story teller at best and thats why i only have 1 story arc, im much better at numbers and such and yes i do have several different AE farms so i can run them with multiple types of toons. one of the biggest reasons i dont play more AE arcs is the lack of rewards, i hate how AE basically disallows purples and shards unless its a dev choice with normal rewards. -
im glad i took care of most of the badges when you could get them fairly easily, whatever they did to pentad is gonna make it pretty annoying lol
i think last man standing they didnt really change as that one i needed 3 poeple total for too
it sounds like the swiss draw is fixed now and reliably pushing people ahead when they should -

I am indeed having problems with those. I totally forgot they had higher than normal perception. Whoops! That must be what is doing me in. Thank goodness... higher perception means they would aggro on you from very far away creating other problems, it just makes it easier that they ignore stealth
(can notice this because rikti drones can be blinded with smoke grenades) -
the reason baddies may be able to fire off attacks before the confuse takes effect is due to the animation time of the power
on my semi lowbie plant dom i usually take some aggro running straight up and hitting seeds even when i am a bit stealthed but a majority of the time i dont really have any problems
the only thing i might also see is that you are fighting mobs which see through stealth such as rikti drones are alerting the mob before your ready, or there might be bosses in the mob which wont be confused right away or there might be confuse resistant enemies such as nemesis
when i used to have my plant/ice dom, the ice assault felt kind of on the weak side to me so i rerolled to a plant/energy which im liking a lot more
edit: another thing i thought of was if you were running chilling embrace and running past baddies, that might cause them to aggro early too -

my badger is a near 5 year old ninja/dark mm, the only really tough badges he had to get were the dmg badges since mm cant take a lot of dmg

the only request i have about base tp is that they should be able to attach more than 2 beacons per tp pad, it would make it a helluva lot easier to just attach like 6 beacons per pad and would give base builders more space to do what they want instead of plan for having 6-12 telepads

If you were trying to use the popularity of temp powers to prove that people would want your item system, well these numbers (taken straight from the market about 2 hours ago) prove that theory to be patently false.

i think theres prolly some sort of oversight with the participation score because lately ive heard that small teams always get shot down with the rewards prolly because the participation thing is set too high or meant more for full trials
from personal experience i also got 10 threads on a MoLambda run (before the badge fix)
ive also seen a screenshot of a duo lambda and the poeple in that trial still got components, so this just goes to show how ****ed up this participation requirement is -
from what ive seen and heard, almost anything will go great with /cold lol
the only one i dont think will benefit as much from it will be mind since it has no pets to buff
the ill/cold i have is godly at taking down tough targets, perma PA perma heat loss perma benumb and perma sleet just floor baddies lol
the other combo i have seen someone do good with is elec/cold, which they had screenshots of them soloing a pylon in RWZ (i cant find the thread with it atm)
plant/cold will also be very nice too especially once the change is made to buffs cause then you can cast carrion creepers and then your ice shields and will buff all of them just because you can lol
so yeah, basically anything with pets and /cold will be a killer lol
edit: i read what you said about buff botting, and cold is definitely not a buff bot, you dont even have to use the buffs really unless your team or pets need the extra safety net -
i would be watching this if i had freaking G4, still pissed that directv dropped them (although lately i have to say they were doing fine before they were dropped but now their channel quality has gone down a bit)
also i think they have all the press conferences on their website from monday/tuesday lol -

pretty much all my toons go reactive because it a LOT more noticeable than anything else
i also like to fight tough targets more, and debuffs being resistable are not worth it, the AVs do not resist the fire dmg from reactive at all really unless they have fire resistance -

it helps, but almost nothing, sort of like the -regen, it helps, but it wont hardly be noticeable -
usually if only one person is in melee range its not much of an issue, especially if they have high def and your dishing out -tohit and mez protection on the one person in melee

ive been on a few where our team randomly got 0 ambushs, but im fairly certain that there are still mass ambushs when fighting him
it does occasionally bug to where there are few to no ambushs baddies for some random reason, not that im complaining though lol -
me and my sister both think if that was our dad that would be so freaking hilarious and awesome lol

i dont believe ive ever had any inventory is full popups, i know i get mislabeled things in the chat window saying inventory is full when your exempt or LK claiming AE tickets
(the above ive noticed is a really odd bug if you try to roll AE tickets when you are exemping or lking then the claim will fail saying your inventory is full even if you have 0 recipes)
other than that i havent really noticed anything unusual -
there are already enemies in game which use unresistable KB on players, BABs is one of them, his [back alley power punch] has a mag 23 unresistable KB and ive been hit with it on a rooted stoner and sure enough it bypasses my mag 30 KB protection

i only have 1 badge hunter, but lately with all these retarded badges its almost started to feel like a chore and not as much fun
hell it was more fun grinding out defeat badges than these trial badges -
i can confirm that they do and what EricHough describes as just giving you an aura which affects pets around you

It stops your recovery for 15 seconds but doesn't actually drain you beyond the endurance used to actually cast it. 1. has bad lag spike that gets them killed
2. gets killed while their client is crashing and comes back dead
3. is too dense to follow instructions
4. decides to do a LEEROY JENKINS with their squishy alt thinking they will live
5. doesn't watch their blue power and their armors all drop due to stamina loss (seriously eat a blue and recheck that alts stamina slotting!)
6. or the person has a sickening level of unmitigated arrogance and refuses to follow instructions...
that kind of badge just isn't needed, and we have enough of them now. (Looks at the other Master badges)
i was having this problem playing my ill/cold on test, every 2nd or 3rd antimatter beam i would die if i was anywhere other than basically following the empath or rad spamming their aoe heal because the only self heal power that guy has is hibernate from APP or green inspirations
