Latest info on Arena Badges
I tried doing Survivalist last night 2 or 3 times the way you described and me and my group had no luck on the badge. We had a group of 3 and had last man standing and no team settings. one toon would stay in then the other 2 would exit and winner would be pronounced but no badge awarded. Does the winner have to stay in until count down kicks u off map?

Are you sure you don't already have the badge? Maybe it will show up on re-login?

How many people are needed for swiss draw?
I still need those last 2 and the less people I need to coerce, the semi-easier time I'll have getting around to it.
I've already forgotten about most of you
I'm totally in for that. I'm on Freedom Server, though, which apparently is pariah in most respected circles.
56 attempts later, Master of the Keyes Island Reactor. Bite Me, Anti Matter.
im glad i took care of most of the badges when you could get them fairly easily, whatever they did to pentad is gonna make it pretty annoying lol
i think last man standing they didnt really change as that one i needed 3 poeple total for too
it sounds like the swiss draw is fixed now and reliably pushing people ahead when they should

Having just recently finishing up my Arena PvP Accolade, let me just give a few pointers:
Pentad Set team size for 5 for Pentad and 6 for Septad. Otherwise it will screw up the placement of players on teams. (You think it would do this automatically... but no.) |
Deamus the Fallen - 50 DM/EA Brute - Lib
Dragos Bahtiam - 50 Fire/Ice Blaster - Lib
/facepalm - Apply Directly to the Forehead!
Formally Dragos_Bahtiam - Abbreviate to DSL - Warning, may contain sarcasm

Pentad
As many have noted in this forum, either a Pentad or Septad win counts for the badge.
Pentad matches can no longer be set up for 1v1 matches. You need at least 10 toons.
Set team size for 5 for Pentad and 7 for Septad. Otherwise it will screw up the placement of players on teams. (You think it would do this automatically... but no.)
Everyone on the winning team will get the badge. It's easiest to set this up for 1 kill and just kill a dude on the other team.
Juggling people around in the interface can be tricky. The pentad display likes to sometimes stick 2 blasters on the same team. The best way to fix that is to kick one of those blasters and switch to freeform teams and manually set the AT types of a space on the other team to blaster and reinvite that blaster and reset to Pentad.
To switch people on teams, kick the 2 ATs and reinvite in order: first invite to first team, second invite to second team.
Survivalist
No longer can be obtained in a 1v1 match. Must use 3 toons or more.
"Battle Royale" and "Free for All" are not choices in the create an event window. You need to chose "Last Man Standing" and "No Teams". All other setting are pretty irrelevant.
The designated "winner" will stay on the map while the others exit (click Score then Exit Map).
Swiss Draw
Many have reported that this is crazy in that the wrong people get promoted to the next round. Well, that may be the case in actual battles, but if the designated "losers" exit the map, I found the "winners" always advanced and the final winner always got the badge.
Use the Swiss Draw and Last Man Standing settings so that as soon as one person leaves the map in a match, the other is the winner.
