    an ice armor/ tank is actually very easy to run with just SOs and is fairly good with most content
  3. they picked mm and troller because of the pets

    mm in particular are a larger strain on the servers so the theory is less pets less server strain
  4. im guessing i20.5 will be out within the next week or so since its in open beta on the test server already

    can also tell that i21 closed beta is starting because theres an 1800 MB patch to beta server lol

    from what i read about in the FAQ, if you are a VIP then lapse the subscription to be a free player, you will still retain all things you have purchased along with a few other perks due to the previous VIP status
  6. im still having mixed feelings about this too

    im definitly gonna be VIP, but im not sure how the game communities will change with the free nonsense

    the good points im seeing is that i have a friend who is a cheap *** and doesnt want to pay per month and a cousin who couldnt afford to pay per month, now both of them will be able to play whenever

    the thing im annoyed with is that they are making only 1 VIP server and leaving everything else to the dogs, it should be the other way around adding a free server and limiting the current servers to VIP only

  8. ive seen the random overlapping enhance and inspiration windows, minor problem thats not even really that inconvenient

    the other issue about it thinking that buttons are pressed but not is usually a case of a lot of window flipping or small lag spikes
  9. the patrons in this mish should con enemies but there is a bug with the mish which makes them con as enemies, i have this mish on several toons and its bugged on all of them right now (honestly i like it this way because the damn mole machines dont give you jack for killing them so this is a consolation prize IMO lol)

    ive never seen the psi clockwork attack penny, 99% sure they will never attack her, however rikti will attack her so any rikti left around will attack her

  12. the reason why all of the pets have the extra dmg if hidden or placated is because of smoke flash, which can be used on any of the pets and does make them placate enemies
  13. the lowbie one i designed doesnt require inspiration crunching, but can be run at +3 extremely easy, has a elec control pain dom ally to buff you and sap the baddy

    if you want to give it a try its 489291, doesnt need any customs except for the ally and can fairly easily be run with any character

    the yield may not be as high as a frontloaded ambush farm, but its definitely good way to get through low lvls faster solo
  14. some of these badges are ridiculous because the freezing time thing he does will make it virtually impossible to get the one to avoid obliteration beam unless you get insanely lucky and he doesnt get stuck or the beam misses while everyone is frozen

    i think this whole trial is kind of ridiculous due to the antimatter beam and how strong it is, it seriously does force you to get rebirth or hover near the aoe spam healing, which is gonna make the no death one or the -90% antimatter beam will send you to the hosp every other hit

    its ok, but most of the mace powers have annoyingly long animation times coupled with redraw of the weapon

  17. thermal heals, pain dom heals, dark -tohit, and FF bubbles are immensly good with power boost

    i think the only secondarys that dont benefit much from power boost are traps and TA since they mostly use pseudo pets which arent affected by power boost

    depends if your summoning the FFG every 2 min, then it shouldnt be a problem, heck its only up for 4 min anyway

    but yes i agree that the kismet proc is better suited to a toggle since it is in the category of "click 120s" which you only get the effect for 120 sec after you click, basically how the numina and miracle procs work

    explanation: both are global IOs so they will affect you regardless of what the FFG is doing, if in a toggle it will be active regardless if toggle is on
  20. you would have to go full villain, run a patron arc and respec, they should be permanently unlocked once you run the arc so they should still be available once you go back blue and do a respec on blue (they will definitly not go away if they were picked powers if you respec on redside)
  21. the way im avoiding the trial grind is running the weekly tf getting notice of the well and if i dont need it converting it to 40 threads which then i can convert to xp, 40 threads is enough to unlock all of judgement and 1/3 of interface or 90% of destiny or lore in one go, 40 threads is also enough for 2 common components so it can help get tier 1/2 pretty easy once you unlock it

    while this method is not free and is slower than trials, it is currently the only alternate method i forsee

    (also note that i mention this because they are reducing the costs for conversions of incarnate xp by 40% in i20.5, so it will only cost 40 mil to convert that stack of 40 threads)
  22. i have a mish designed for lowbies (not specifically for farming) that runs lvl 1-4, so you can do up to +3, there are only bosses in the mish and a buffing ally, so very little fear of dying unless you herd too much up, approx the same xp gain as yours, but the mish is more sparsely populated

    they are not immune to immobs because my earth dom can immob them, they have like mag 3 or 4 protection to it though along with heavy slow resists
  24. /this, i would rather run a +4 tf than trials atm, they are ok, but get very repetitive very quickly and i hate the forced speed runs

    no not really, as you know yes all of the origins get the same selection of enhances and just have to equip the right ones

    the only differences origin makes is if you really use the origin inherent power, and with vet attacks (nem staff is bonus dmg if you are natural, tech, or science; blackwand is bonus dmg if you are natural, mutant, or magic)

    other than that, no, origins dont affect anything
