Defense Sets (Luck of the Gambler, Karma) in Force Field Generator?

Ok, I don't expect it to affect anyone under the bubble, but would at least it affect me?

A. Always on me?
B. FFG must be called?
C. FFG must be called and me under it?

Would it affect my pets?


I speak of the Luck of the Gambler 7.5% recharge speed and/or Karma Knockback Protection.


I am not taking combat jumping, so (I think) I only have this for a defense sets bonus. Ideally I'd just slot them in FFG and they just work, no calling.

If the power must be "on", ala combat jumping, then what?


ETA: I'm paused at 49 looking for places for my last three slots and don't want to put 2 (or 1) more into FFG (has 3 +defs) unless they will work. New account and don't have any respecs yet

explanation: both are global IOs so they will affect you regardless of what the FFG is doing, if in a toggle it will be active regardless if toggle is on

depends if your summoning the FFG every 2 min, then it shouldnt be a problem, heck its only up for 4 min anyway

but yes i agree that the kismet proc is better suited to a toggle since it is in the category of "click 120s" which you only get the effect for 120 sec after you click, basically how the numina and miracle procs work

THe kismet proc is the 6% + tohit right? why bother with it on an MM? It will only effect the caster sets have amazing amounts of ACC built in typically and Tactics give you more tohit for you and pets

Agreed, the Kismet here is not as useful here because it does not affect your pets. Instead take Tactics. Also, take Maneuvers for the +DEF for you and your pets (and those other pets..erm, teammates..), and you can also park another LOTG 7.5% there for even more recharge.
