Woohoo. Pointless topics that have already been done to death are soooooo much better when they're put into new threads.
In other words: IBTD +1 -
I agree with Bad_Influence on this one. We should have to pay for the free expansions so they can be cooler...
...that was your point, right? -
Always water. Also always a soda of some sort, it rotates between all of the dozens of soft drinks that I like. Occasionally Monster or some sort of coffee or tea beverage.
Yes, I frequently have 3 different beverages on my desk at the same time. -
I also wanted a lot of recharge so I could fit more attacks in. An ideal attack chain for me would be FSC -> GFS -> Combustion -> FSC etc. Not sure if I could do that, but it would be nice. Also, I'm kinda wondering if the procs I have in blazing aura would be better in combustion and FSC. More defense would be nice, but I don't see a way I can do that and still keep anywhere near the recharge I have.
edited to eliminate obvious stupidity -
I'd like to throw my opinion in here backing up what everyone else has said, but going a bit further with my feelings about hand clap.
Hand clap is the worst, most counterproductive, most worthless P.O.S. power any tanker could get. It not only does no damage, making it not worthwhile offensively, it knocks guys back. Not down; back. This causes them to be scattered, which means you'll have a very hard time keeping them all taunted, endangering your teammates and making them much harder for you to take down on your own. Whatever damage the power mitigates is not even close to made up for by how much harder it makes your life.
Of course, if you're not interested in being a good tanker or being effective or if you just like making things harder on yourself, Hand clap is fine. -
this is the reason I like to play tankers/scrappers/brutes with taunt auras, or someone with holds and immobilizes. Really, there's always a way to stop them from running.
That said, I definitely believe that Warriors should never ever run under any circumstance that isn't intentionally comedic. -
I see no fault with your suggestions. A+ and I agree!
Also, /signed -
My condolences to his friends and family, and my congratulations to Professor Entropy himself. It's only a hero that is remembered so fondly.
-
I was thinking the extra recharge and recovery would be superior to extra regen and resistance/defense because healing flames would be up so much faster and consume would be able to cover for the times sappers/carnies got to me, at least long enough for my recovery to kick back in.

It does sound like a teaser announcement for the big C, but I refuse to say it because I'm worried I'd jinx the whole thing by saying it out loud. I'll wait for the actual announcement before I rejoice.

Sort of. You win the right to buy a lifetime supply of Rice-a-Roni, the San Francisco treat! -
If you stand in a different place than your henchies and can manage to keep the aggro on you, you'll be fine. The AoE will hit you, leaving your pets taking only what they bodyguarded from you. When you fix that up, you're good to go. Then it's just a matter of maintenance.

Hey everybody, I've decided to make my first attempt at playing around with purples on a tank. I'm going for a combo of killing speed and survivability. I'd like to be able to kill several of anything EB or lower without breaking much of a sweat.
So, here's what I'm thinking for my build so far. If anyone has any opinions of what could be improved, I'd certainly appreciate the input:

At heart, all of you agree with me.
[/ QUOTE ]
I wholeheartedly disagree with you. I enjoy giving money to this game, since the more I give the more they have to make it better. The only reason I'm currently on a 6-month plan instead of the more expensive month-by-month plan is because the economy in general is bad right now. Once it gets better and I can afford it, I fully intend to go back to the monthly plan just so Paragon gets more money to play with. I also buy all of the add-ons even if I don't like what I get for them, just to give money to the game I love.
I also know for a fact that I'm not the only one that feels this way. -
If you regularly gain 3 levels from it and hit the ticket cap every time but also get your butt handed to you on a regular basis, you're probably fine.

anyone still making MA arcs?

Nah, I'm done even thinking about it until I can do what I want without making it crazy difficult. I thought i15 would do that for me, but they changed their minds.
Also, I still can't make my hot pink and purple snowmen. -

Disadvantages;
1. Very Few Close Range Attacks.

All ranged attacks can be used at close range/melee, so that's not a disadvantage. -
If it had nothing but the costume/weapon options, I'd buy it. Anything on top of that would be gravy.

Seriosuly, no one outside paragon studios knows jack all about the expansion yet.
Mostly people are just speculating.

I do. but i am a time traveler from the future. And to tell you early would violate the subprime directive. And require you to fill out a 200000 page application using 1 number 2 pencil. or blood.(for red side players the blood does not have to be your own)
[/ QUOTE ]
Alright, the application's in the mail. I'm sure gonna miss Grandma, but it was totally worth it. -
It's a pity that "Through the Looking Glass" was already used, because it would be perfect.

Easiest way to think of the villain ATs if you must relate them to hero ATs is to think of each of them as a hybrid of the hero ATs.
Brute = tanker/scrapper
Corruptor = blaster/defender
Dominator = blaster/controller
Mastermind = tanker/defender
Stalker = blaster/scrapper -

Yeah, quitting TFs is something I really don't understand most of the time. I've done it once a couple weeks ago with the RikTF because the leader of the team was threatening to kick people if they didn't do everything right. I apologized to everyone else on the team, and simply told them that I don't work with tyrants and wished them luck.

As well as the occasional Brute, Defender, Scrapper, Corruptor, and Blaster. -

Okay, so there's a 'flaw' with them, but that should theoretically be fixed soon.
