She's teamed with a nice ice/trick arrow controller. Lots of slows, knockdowns, hold and immobilises - just the thing for aoe effects to take place.

I don't think you can get AM prior to Lvl 4, so you may want to swap that around with RI

Other than that it looks very much like my Rad/Rad defenders build that I've been respecing since Issue 2.

And yes, the torpedo noise really does make the set complete

This is how bushbaby's fire blaster and my ice troller work. Ice slick goes down, followed by RoF. This keeps their attention off ourselves and I can also use group immobilise to do this as well, as long as we're out of line of sight.

It's a great combo. I can't wait to add glue arrow to the mix as well

Have one of those windows capable of being fixed so that a base can look out on to a zone (ie, a window in one of the Steel Canyon skyscrapers)

Knowing that this is allowed in Grandeville, we could also give Pocket D that capability, since it's sitting in the middle of a zone.

Yeah, I've had this too. Died out in Talos and went to base. Was there for 5 seconds with low health. Suddenly pulled back to the exact spot I died on and was dead again shortly thereafter. Double full debt for no effort.

Have been very hesitant to use the base medical facility since then.

also the fact that u need a SG with minimal 50 peeps that play daily in SG mode before u can have a single working thing within a 6 months...

we choose to keep our SG small,so its gonna take a verry long time before we can use that so called awsome base content.

imho the base builing is unfair and makes u obligated to form a large SG, to have sumtin usefull in a reasonable time.

SG with 2 people, lots of alts (still same playtime). Working Base, with tp and medic bay - total time 4 months (mostly evening and weekends).

Erm.... having exclusively teamed with the aforementioned Fire/FF controller for those 30-odd levels.... I'd also like to add that he's constantly supported by a Rad/Rad Defender.

Don't know if this changes anything - he is after all AM'd for most of the time.

After many months, my very first COV character, Fugitive Prey, dings 40. Just in the nick of time for Issue 7.

Spent all of today doing Council newspaper missions (lost track of how many somewhere around the 50 mark). Ended up just short of what I needed, so I found an obliging group of Freaks in St Martial to finish me off

Ok enough of that. I'm copying him over to the test server and am off to get my butt kicked in Recluse's Victory.

I too have a Grav/Kin Troller and I use crushing field lots.
I wouldn't recommend it if you're on your own though.

With other people taking the aggro though, this can save a few people from getting hit by the more powerful, close range attacks of the mobs.

It's also a great setup for Containment double damage.
