Have one of those windows capable of being fixed so that a base can look out on to a zone (ie, a window in one of the Steel Canyon skyscrapers)

Knowing that this is allowed in Grandeville, we could also give Pocket D that capability, since it's sitting in the middle of a zone.

Give me doors - anything from blast doors that take up the whole opening of a corridor to normal sized doors with a suitably shaped bit of wall around them to close off a corridor.

aye, maybe nice to make em for instance like the doors already in mishes, but with ability for defenders to close em after attackers open em? or scale em in defense-values like:

no door - as it is now
normal door - offers no defensive value, can be opened and close like normal mish-doors
locked doors - offers little defensive value, must be opened by destroying a weak keypad, will then be decreased to normal door value.
reinforced doors - high defensive value, doors like we know from jails.
blast doors - high defensiv value like the reinforced doors, but can be repaired with temp power or summit like that to make em more viable.

can be either craftable or standard from editor, of course increasing in price/salvage as they offer more defense. Would make sense to be able to lock specific rooms during baseraids (what base in their right mind would leave the way to their main power generator open for everyone?)

Doors like the cell doors you sometimes find in Council bases would be fun - they'd really slow down a raid while the attackers destroyed them.

It'd alos be great if you could activate doors from distance in your control center, so that you could cut off the raiders from each other (especially if they didn't have tp )

Don't make me set the horned reaper on you!

Seriously though I think doors could work if kept to the simple principle of friendlys can open and pass through them, unfriendlys cannot.

or even just door openings...

Like walls you could place at either end of the doorway, or in the middle, or something. Giving you the choice of the size of the door opening: from (slightly larger?) office doors to near that of a hangar (ie: just a small doorframe)

Only problem I see with this is the placing, it'd have to be from floor to ceiling, no matter how high or low they'd be
