[ QUOTE ]

although
i made a what ever it was with the original one
and a what ever it was with the linear

Could you try that again? I'm not even sure there was a point there?

I think i've barely managed to translate your post into some semblance of English so first question is, what do you mean by 'linear' and 'olden'?
Empowerment stations are tech or arcane.
As for the buff lasting the same amount of time on either, what did you expect?
If the dev's made tech more powerful than arcane or vice versa, the cries from SG's who invested 6 months of prestige in the weaker one would have brought the board to it's knees.
Really not sure what you're trying to get at and until you post in a method people understand, not going to be able to help you.

afaik the 2nd tier TECH empowerment station is called linear accelerator, so I guess he is talking about the differences between 1st and 2nd tier tech empower.stations.
EDIT: Omg, I speak Lui!
i reckon the third tier of stations will also be 15 minutes of buffage, but will provide access to more wide range of buffs.
eg, tier 2 has toxic resistance, tier 1 doesnt.
@ExtraGonk
in that case, once u have the 3rd level one is it worth selling the first 2 ?

1st up, flaming Lui for posting isnt exaclty funny, you know who u are , makes perfect sense (not if you are intelligent, or 15 but...) IF you have a clue about the tech base editing options.
Lui, i agree i tested out the confuse res buff from both the 1st tier ('olden') and the 2nd tier (linear accelerator). they both lasted 15 mins, HOWVER i did not test the recipes which cost in the region of 8 pieces of salvage including 2nd tier components, i am guessing these last longer, however i am not willing to waste salvage to test this.
AFAICT the Lin Accelerator produces everything the tier 1 converter produces and more, maybe that is why u were baffled, or maybe it is a bug?
any comments from ppl who have tested this on test would be most helpful.

Right, I apologize my stupid remarks once again.
Goonies don't have the 2nd tier emp station yet, so I can't check, but propably same recipes that are creatable on lower tier station are also creatable on higher tier station. Have you checked if there are 'bigger' buffs down the list of the 2nd tier station?
EDIT: Damn, Plight already said this.
yer is suppose so but i was under the impression if you sold 'personal' items you didnt actually get anything back for them? (always been to scared to try )
the 3rd tier station is well expensive, it took basically 4 50s worth of tech salvage (dumpin it all in the salvage stor) to put together the 2nd tier station.
unfortunately the way the 2nd tier station is described i thought it'd allow you to make buffs from raw salvage rather than having to go thru 3 steps to get to a buff creation point.
Another point, the buff is effected as soon as you make the recipe, so its not a temp power to use when you need it, its immediately after clicking the create button.
personally i think the multiple steps to get anything done is what will put a lot of people off using it at all.
Oh one last thing. your salvage you carry is catagorised by type, there are specific types required to make specific recipes. Yet the savlage storage unit cant be sorted by type, so you dont know what to pick unless you know exactly the right raw materials, and when there are so many types its a bit of a trauma.
@ExtraGonk
i agree gonk, being able to sort the salvage in the store by the same catrgories as u can for personal salvage would be excellent, glad you said it, cos i meant to

There are 2 types of racks, a tech and a magic one... I've put 2 of each in my SG's base and hope to god people will use it to sift it into tech and magic ...

Thats propably a text error.. The buffs themselves have bugged description texts on the Emp.station menu.
Just so I'm clear, temp buff made like this last 15minutes from the moment they're built?

Yeah, they aren't temp powers that are activated, they are automatically on and last 15 minutes from the moment you make them.
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong - but I thought the Linear Accelarator made temp buffs that lasted 15mins...but were more powerful than those build by the Radiation Emulator - which also builds 15min buffs, but weaker ones...isn't that the case? Or am I confused...I can't see them lasting longer...just getting more powerful as you build better generation equipment.

ok, ive been playing a bit and as far as i can tell... all buffs (tier 1, 2 and 3) last for 15 mins from creation...
The only difference in the different tier enhancement stations is the number of buffs they allow you to create (ie number of differnt types).
Tier 2 has all Tier 1 buffs plus some extra and tier 3 has all tier 1 and tier 2 buffs plus some extra...
