My DM/SR Scrapper(MunkiLord) will go evil for a bit to get all the TF badges and do some story arcs. After that he'll probably be somewhere in the middle.

Oh, I don't plan on diving into the PvP IOs or anything. It just makes it possible for me to afford to get Posi Blast instead of Detonation if I want to and that sort of thing.
I'm just happy to be out of my shanty, so I'm not looking to move into a mansion anytime soon.
I have quite a few alts and I have rebuilt a couple so far and kept it under 1 billion total.

Also, Duece is right. Not only is typed defense not what you want for /SR, those are really really expensive. -

I teamed with a level 30 healer the other day(meaning emp with only one secondary power) and she didn't take her rez. While healers aren't needed in this game, I really don't care if one of my teammates that route. Whatever floats his boat, besides I'm of the opinion that if I need a particular teammate to have a certain power to function then I'm doing something wrong(I'm looking at you stone tanks and brutes that gotta have SB, lrn2play).
It didn't bother that this 'healer' didn't have the rez, it just seemed like the strangest damn thing. -
Whining about free stuff being given away is sad. Getting over it is your only real option.

Awesome, thanks for the info. As far as ST damage goes, is /earth near the top? Assuming I like the character I will eventually go for perma dom so I should be able to stick together a pretty good attack chain.
Is there a consensus on the best ST attack chain for /earth? -

Ok so I'm planning on making a new Dom for my first character for GR. I have one already sitting at level 40(Ice/Elec).
I'm thinking of making one of three possible combos:
Earth/earth
Plant/earth
Earth/psi
So what do you experienced and more educated dom players think are the advantages to each combo? Any and all info is greatly appreciated! Thanks! -
I'll look at Smite, good point. But I'm not putting any damage enhancement into Soul Drain because it will kill my damage fuel quicker.

So I'm trying to squeeze a little more DPS from my DM/SR and I came up with some changes that I think will help accomplish my goal.
Here is the summary of changes:
End efficiency is going down a little bit, by .12 end/sec overall, but MG and Smite have better end numbers now. That should actually be an improvement.
Added two procs to Smite since it is used the most of my attacks.
Added the PvP IO.
Lost a little bit of regen, but I don't think that is a big deal.
I added the PvP -res IO to Soul Drain. Do you think that is worth it? I'm not sure how much of an impact it will have, but I can't really think of a better place to use that slot.
Overall I improved it in pretty much every way, but these are very expensive improvements. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for the help.

My vote goes for Dark Melee or Claws. Both can do excellent single target damage. Claws has better AoE but Dark Melee gets the heal.

I don't see a reason to snitch on a fellow player for the "crime" of creating an homage character. It's only a crime because Marvel has a Matrix-style infintely replicating squad of lawyers to throw at the courts so NC rolled over on their players rather than fight it.

Anyways, from what Castle said, it seems that the developers are open to de-signing the respec system so that you are not completely unslotted.
The idea, as I understand it, is that the developers are looking at a UI solution where you'll be able to change what levels you got powers, without having to go through the complete re-leveling process. For example, let's say you picked health at 16 on a regen scrapper, but you could have had Integration. The "new" respec system would allow you to specify taking Integration at 16 and Health at a later level, by drop and dragging, or clicking assigned level ranges.
Now, is this what is going to happen? I don't know.
I do know that there are no plans to increase the number of enhancements that can be unslotted and held at once.
Now it is true in the past it has been said we were lucky to keep ten, but wasn't that statement made a long time ago? Things change, holding onto old ideas just for the sake of holding onto them seems pretty dumb. There is no harm in reusing enhancements and giving them to our alts. The fact that we can now email items to ourselves only encourages this desire for many people. -
