Not only do they repeat, but for most level ranges there is only a single morality mission for each alignment. For a hero level 20-29 you'll always get 'Fire in the Hole.' 30-39 you'll always get 'Crossing the Line." Even at 40-50 there are only two missions. And many just drop the 'One Good Spider' mission after having done it a time or two simply because 'The Unusual Suspect' is so short and easy.
Edit: More alignment and morality missions at the top ranges is something I'd really like to see. -
Quote:This was my thought as well. And even deleting the account isn't going to prevent you from reading the forums. It would stop you from posting, but your post count is low enough that that can't be too much of a problem. You could have someone else in your household log in to your NCSoft account and change the Master Account password and the Game Account password and simply not tell you what the new password is.
And, as has been pointed out by others, forum posts are unlikely to result in any action by Paragon. -
Quote:If you're still alive then it wasn't a team wipe. If you're getting that much use out of resuscitate then frankly you're not very good at keeping your teammates alive through healing or the team as a whole just plain sucks. Interrupt enhancements can't completely eliminate the chance of interrupt and don't do anything about the stupidly long cast times of the medicine heals. If you really want to be as helpful to team success as you can without using attacks then ditch the medicine pool and get leadership instead.Never heard of Interrupt enhancements, huh.
Resuscitate is VERY useful. In cases of team wipes, I can tp and rez the whole team faster than any one team member can hosp and return. Reduce Recharges are wonderful for this purpose.
As far as your participation problems for the events my guess is that your teammates aren't taking enough damage for you get much credit for healing (overhealing won't get you any credit) and buffs can only take you so far.
Edit: I won't be making any more posts in this thread. I don't really care enough about how you choose to play to keep arguing. -
You've made it clear that you consider your build above question, but I'm going to be blunt here.
Taking the medicine pool on an empathy defender is about as useful as just taking nothing for those power selections. With minimal recharge you can be spamming heal other enough that aid other is pointless (be honest now, how often do you use a single target heal that takes almost 4 seconds to cast AND is interruptible?) Stimulant doesn't do anything that clear mind doesn't already do better. Resuscitate is just plain bad even if you didn't already have a rez in your primary. It takes 7.33 seconds to cast and is interruptible. If your healing is really that important to the team's success do you have time in combat to stop everything for that long to cast an interruptible rez? As for aid self if you're actually taking more damage that you can handle with healing aura then you're probably not going to be able to cast an interruptible self heal anyway.
Even if you REALLY don't want to use those slots for attacks (and I can understand that even if I'd never actually do it) you'd be much more useful to your team if you take powers from the leadership pool instead of medicine. -

If the Dream Doctor has been truthful in his letters, I'd have to say Twilight's Son is the most evil. Maybe he's not considered a villain in game, but selling out your own entire species to be used as starship fuel is about as vile as you can get.

I've got Liquid Courage reserved on Victory, haven't actually bought the powerset yet though.

I concede that your arguments are valid. But I still don't buy that G = Center (and I realize you're not insisting that he is.) It's really not possible for everyone from Primal Earth to have a counterpart in Praetoria given that it's human population is substantially lower after the Hamidon Wars.
-
From Viridian's dialogue immediately after what you quoted:
Quote:The normal Council troops are bad. Fanatically loyal. We think that might be tied into the Center's mutation, actually. -
Mr. G may look old (yes, older than Agent G), but not 90+. I also don't recall Mr. G having any superhuman abilities. Instead he just seems to be very well informed with lots of contacts behind the scenes.
-
Quote:I'm fairly sure that Mr. G is in fact the Praetorion version of.......Agent G, a Faultline contact. Mr. G also doesn't appear to be old enough to be the Center, who is described by Viridian as being over 90.Have the devs actually confirmed that Praetoria's Mr. G is their version of the Center? It's been suspected for quite some time by several of us for multiple reasons, but I'm not aware of them outright confirming Paolo Tirelli to be Mr. G's Primal counterpart.
As far as Vagabond being Requiem I don't buy it, again for age related reasons. Vagabond may be getting on in years but he's not nearly old enough to be Requiem, who is over 100. The Dream Doctor's letter is the only information we have that there is a Praetorian version of Requiem. And frankly he hasn't been very forthcoming with details about much of anything. -
I think most people who've played through the First Ward arcs finish up Vanessa's and think, "Huh? That's it?" The story doesn't seem to come to an end so much as just stop.
-
I'd say that purely on the basis of the patron unlock arcs (ie the first arc from each patron) Black Scorpion is the easiest and Scirroco is the hardest. But I would also say that Scirocco has far and away the most interesting arcs storywise.

I propose that Overwhelming Force (and future sets like it) be refered to as an EO, for Event Origin.

I call shennanigans! That's unpossible!

Quote:Fixed for emphasisDue to previous experiences I feel it necessary to state here that this run involves not using any of the temporary power called Quills of Jocas to destroy any of the wells. Please know this coming into this run.
I'm fairly sure I can make it for this attempt.
@Inquisitor, Controller, Earth Rad
If I get a different character (probably a tanker) hybrid slotted before then I'd prefer to bring that character instead, but will come again as Inquisitor if we need the debuffs. -
Seldom covers most of the issues, I'll just add a couple comments:
For Dominators: Don't be too set against taking melee attacks from your secondary. It's possible to build a range only attack chain, but many of the melee attacks are really strong. And a target that's being held/stunned/confused isn't going to be hitting you back, so melee isn't as dangerous for doms as it might first appear.
For Controllers: Though they can't control bosses as reliable as a dominator with domination running a secondary with strong debuffs (especially to-hit debuffs) can do a lot to cripple the tougher opponents (and will be more effective against EBs and AVs than controls.) I would strongly recommend that early on at least you take your single target immobilize (for most sets) and slot it for damage. This is less an issue for Mind Controllers who can get pretty decent single target damage from mesmerize (slotted for damage instead of control) and and levitate. Air superiority from the flight power pool is also a good choice for a young controller in need of damage.
As far as fluffy specifically I can understand wanting to avoid pets conceptually. Darkness affinity is still a strong set even if you decide to skip the pet. But even if you don't plan to use him a lot I'd still grab fluffy who can be really handy in tough fights. -
I can see slotting for exemplaring purposes as important to pvpers, but for pve content it doesn't seem to be worth much worry. I ran that content on the way up without uber enhancements, why would I need them to rerun it?

Due to work and other RL crap (stupid RL) it's going to be hard for me to plan on being online very far ahead of time for the next few months. But if I'm on when you run I'll be glad to help. It might be easier to try with a minimum size league of players that know the ropes on the fight that going for a full league (less chance of random quilling that way.)

I find it's better not to worry about efficiency on these badges. Just find a mob in an instance (to avoid timing out) that can't possibly kill you, then go do something else for a while.
-
As an aside, I think ED should be reexamined with regards to sets (notably purple quality) that get nothing by 6-slotting over 5-slotting except for the 6-slot bonus.
