  1. Wait, let me get this straight... you're telling me that other games exist outside of COX and I can play those too? I'm sorry, but I just don't believe you.

But seriously, I like this game just the way it is and have no need for any other format of it.

Well I'm not 100% sure that foes can actually get a few shots off before you can target them, but I did notice that either my reaction time isn't as good as it used to be OR there is something wonky with the re-targeting mechanism... because I could swear a Freak Tank smacked me at least once before I could even get a lock on him.

Yeah, I was kind of wondering the same thing when I first noticed this new "fix" as well. I'd say that's definitely way more risk than there should be and completely unfair to the player. GO DEVS!!!

I realize that it would take a revamp of the rez animation for this to work, but it would be a better "fix" in the long run, IMHO.

I also agree that Freakshow and Wailer Kings used to be really fun to fight... now I just avoid them. It's very frustrating watching your AoEs and/or pets pound on a rezzing foe while you just stand there and abuse the Tab key.
  5. I agree with what Myriad said.

Also, I can't fathom why a 50 would even want to join a lowbie team unless they were completely bored out of thier skull... it's not like they'll get any purples, high level IOs or a decent amount of inf... plus, they don't even need the xp, either.

So yeah, what was your question again?

Yep. During WWII, smoking was actually considered somewhat "healthy" and ciggarettes were included in G.I. rations... so radioactive toothpaste doesn't really surprise me all that much. LOL

  8. Well, I think the main thing to know about is that each server now have Global Chat Channels for teaming, task forces, etc. So your best bet is to join one and ask questions as you run across unfamilair issues during gameplay.

There is also the "Help" channel (which is a tab located in the upper chat window of your UI) that you can also ask questions to.

Other than that, all I can think of is to watch out for AE babies. XD

  11. Sorry Roberto, but badges will not be handed out for simply using your own common sense.
  12. Is this a question or a complaint?

But I do agree, since I was in a similar situation recently.

I decided to focus alot of my sets with regneration/HP in mind and has worked out very well. There is a balance in which works very very well as your resistance will mitigate some of the damage, your increased regeneration will help to take more damage, and above all else with your heals siphon life and dark regeneration you will be very highly survivable. As for the end issues with endurance reductions and stamina its pretty much not abn issue too much either. I personally think the balance listed above is the true key to DA.
Mind posting your build? Because I also took into consideration the regen/HP factor, but was really more focused on endurance usage, since it's easy to run dry fairly quickly when looking to keep a full bar of fury.

The build I posted is the best I could do for covering all of the basics (some better than others, obviously). Anyway, here are the numbers from MIDs:

    - Regeneration: 177%
    - Max HP: 105.6%
    - End Rec: 169% (3.34/s)
    - End Use: 1.43/s
    - Max End: 118%

    - Haste: +20%
    - ToHit: +0
    - Accuracy: +53%
    - Damage: +1%
    - End Rdx: +0

I would have loved to get more HP, ToHit and Damage, but purples just aren't within my budget.
  14. Yep, I seem to be having the same problem, too. Got the message "Map failed to start" in the chat window. Not only that, but I lost my friends list for a brief period, but it came back a few minutes later... weird.

Just started today when I logged in after maintenance.
  15. At this point I would say none of my characters are making the switch, because quite frankly, there's nothing in GR that really appeals to me, so far. Thus, I have no plans to even purchase the expansion at this time.

Although, my attitude may change once we get all the facts of what GR is actually going to be and how it will work. Right now, it's all just a bunch of rumors and speculation.
  16. Quite honestly, as a DM/DA brute, building for defense isn't really going to help you much since the set is not geared for it at all. On top of that, any DM/DA build will be pretty end heavy as well, so your best bet is to try and get the endurance drain down to a manageable level while increasing your fury bar.

I have a DM/DA scrapper who is a beast and love playing him, BUT I've also discovered that you really can't build a brute the same way and expect him to survive. Thus, you have to put more emphisis on Death Shroud, Dark Regeneration and Dark Consumption to keep yourself vertical in large mobs or dicy situations.

With that said, here is the build I'm currently using and it's working out fairly well. I've just hit lvl 29 and don't even have DS, yet I was able to demolish every mob (6-min/2-Lt) during a solo AE farm I ran this morning with little trouble. I would imagine that once DS is fully slotted, this brute will be one serious monster:

  18. I find myself amused that your toon's UI is PINK (heeheehee), besides that, you've provided some excellent info!
  19. Well that's very interesting. I guess I just have horrible luck at the BM, because I always try to generate as much infamy as possible for everything posted for sale... maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

    LOL, too true!

When I first heard about it, I went there with some friends in search of GMs to slaughter... but all we found were a few extremely large DE and a bunch of annoying monkeys.
