I think I'm ready to reconcile my hatred for Dark Armor.

I think the problem is just with the purposes of the zones. It's too easy for the zones to degrade into zergs where nobody cares about the "objectives." This is especially apparent in Recluse's Victory.

It was an hour past midnight. All the denizens who were worth anything fast asleep, and you could hear the old streetlamps humming the only tune they knew.
Shops were closed, except for seedy bars and their periodical discharge of drunk and degenerate scum bags and loose harlots with even looser lips, dancing into the streets and falling into the cracks.
I buried my bare hands into the pockets of my trench coat as I crept along the sidewalk. The gravel and grime crunched under my feet with every step. This was a sound that you just couldn't hear when the sun was out.
An obnoxiously loud street cleaner lumbered past me on the otherwise dead lanes. It kicked up a cloud of debris and I pulled out a napkin from one of my pockets, coughing into it. Damned cleaners...
That's when I was caught off guard. A hand touched my back and I turned around to grab it. Then I saw her. I saw her black hair and bright red lipstick fencing in her perfect whites on her pale face. Her dark-green eyes were staring straight into mine, transmitting her rage.
She yanked her hand free and brandished a letter opener. I braced myself for a fight. -
I know the vault is cancelled, but can we at least have a tracking tool for our personal use on PlayNC or something so we can find out which badges we do and don't have while signed into a PC/Mac/whatever else that does not have City of Heroes?
Could it also function with xml so fansites can implement the badge data in badge planner services?
I am not asking for a full implementation of the Vault. I'm just interested in at very least the badge data being available, whether an interface is provided or not. -

I think cars should harm players and knock them down.
I remember playing Omikron:The Nomad Soul and getting hit by a car. It felt life-like. -
There's about 5-8 regulars in Virtue's RV, but that's about it.

Your viable was the rest of us accomodating with more bonus accuracy than necessary. Does it really bother you that much to take a hit just a little more than once a minute? -

Vigilance would be greatly improved if it took the defender's own health into account.
Good for soloers, good for teams, good for proactive and reactive sets. I think the endurance discount is useful and thematically appropriate, so I'd be happy with this one tweak.

There's just one problem with this, and it would be a min-max expectaion that the defender would go out of his way to harm himself to have max uptime. Afterwards, development would feel pressure to balance the AT for this playstyle.
It's a "cut-yourself: playstyle that I just don't want. -

I've been trying to push a Time Control powerset for a long time. It has a lot of potential to include interesting effects, and a particularly unique one would be the ability to shorten animation cycle times (if that's possible). Anyway, we need more powersets with unusual abilities, not just another new weapon set; we have plenty of those.

There's no way they'd have the courage to put something like that in, because it means that not only do they have to balance the powerset against its "peers", but also go through all other powersets to make sure the effects don't cause major balancing issues.
That, or it'd just be a bit of a cross between Gravity Control and Kinetics. Speed up, slow down, out of phase...

It wouldn't be complete without flow control. I don't know if everyone in your team would like to be zipped backward or if the server can do such a thing. -
Consider torrent or tenebrous tentacles in your build as both can buy you breathing time towards another reconstruction.
