42 months in less than a month!?

Ok...i'm confused as hell now because i'm not sure if its something i bought or some crazy glitch. I recently created a villain character and got all the way done designing him and noticed at the bottom i had the option to give him wings. I thought this was odd because i recently did a little study on veteran rewards and it said i wasn't supposed to get that until i had several months of play. I didnt complain and went with Demon wings. the instant i entered the tutorial zone i was bombarded with maybe 10 badges, all of the veteran badges ending with 42 months. Tell me is this some sort of incredibly lucky glitch? Did i maybe get it when i bought the Good vs. Evil edition of the game? and why can't i do it with any other characters i want to make?
Oh and i have been playing with this account for about a week. Created the entire account on 5/9 i believe.

I had the trial but only for about 5 seconds, then i added the actual membership

Wow.... Well I'd suggest taking this to a gm or nc support, because that's really odd and not supposed to happen.

I wonder if your account got hit with some other person's info somehow... or ... I dunno! Don't count on keeping the badges/wings, but hey, score one for honesty.

I have one toon that has a badge that should be account wide.But only that one guy has it.And I shouldn't have it at all.Not sure what is going on but there is a glitch in badges somewhere.

Well that will stink if i lose the wings. it seems to be the only thing extra i really got out of it anyway though. i'm gonna review the veteran rewards again and see if any of the others check out.

Well, there are lots of other craftable wings you can get in recipes either by drops or buy buying them at Wentworths/Black Market. Bigger versions of the demon wings are Draconic, and smaller ones are Bat. (adorable) The only sets of wings that are not available that way are the Angel, Demon, and the Valkyrie pack ones you can get by purchasing the mac pack.

Yeah those were the ones that popped up. those three and something else. some kind of robotic valkyrie wings or something, i dont remember what they were called. i just went with demon wings because it looked like it went with my toon.

Valkyrie wings come with buying the Mac pack. Sound like you hit the jackpot. I have the opposite problem. I got the 57 month vet reward badge about 4 months ago, but I haven't gotten the 60 yet. When I checked my account, it said I'm scheduled to receive it in December. Yeah, I already opened a ticket.

lol - and I think this all showed up in a dream I had last night too, I got some weird little ding that said 42 and got some item, and I checked MY badges, but since I already HAD all of those, 42 appeared twice...

Of course, that'd probably leave your waiter eating microwave noodles...

I just worry that it might bork the rest of the account at some time in the future, and that'd suck to have been playing for a while with it, and then suddenly have it all messed up.

But, hey...you NEVER know what can happen when you honestly approach a GM or support with a bug like this.

I can only guarantee one thing, they will be happy you came to them.

Also, better to deal with it now than lose it without warning.

2. Report ALL the details they'll ask

3. Make sure to request if you can keep the wings since you're the lucky one and you're being honest about it after all

For 12 months I got prestige sprints, base items, and sands/axe. We arent supposed to get the sprints at 12?

Yes, sprints come at 12 months

THIS JUST HPAPPENED TO MY FREIND!@!!! Y CANT IT HAPPEN TO ME!

I made a villain and noticed I had a pocket d transporter as a power... i had never had that before. Then i noticed I had a power called transport to mission door, and it teleported me right to the mission door with a 2 hour cool down, then I had the magic card power that I can give to others, i also had a jump pack at lvl 1........ here the things, i haven't bought anything new for the game since CoV came out, and it's only on this one character. So I too have some sort of super cool glitch too.

Well, be aware that if you use those things and don't wind up telling a gm, they have every right to remove them and you'll be angry. So... might want to bug it and send a petition to a gm to have it straightened out.

On a similar note, I created a new mastermind tonight and when I was putting on her many, many vet rewards, I chose the base items (the trophy cases) and it listed in my chat box all the things in them (positron's helmet, hamidon goo, etc) and i've never, ever seen that happen. So there may be some overriding issue with the vetran rewards right now.

Oh yes...time to reroll my next toon 1000 times until the bug happens to me and I can have those powers on a toon I like ))))))
