1. City of Instances - does every mission had to be instanced? I got so tired of seeing the same building/warehouse/whatever, such a big world, yet, there was no incentive to play outside of an instance, if you did and died, you were punished even more, instances are nice and all, but over abusing them was a big downer for me, instances should have been reserved for task forces an trials and the like to give it a special feeling. Task forces as they are now, just don't feel any different from regular contacts.
2. Weapon Redraw - all weapon sets should have been like fire melee's weapons are; they appear in your hand without any delay and go away just as fast, simple and elegant.
3. User Interface - Feels clunky, slow, ugly and an annoyance to navigate, there is no character summary sheet, if you wanna see numbers you gotta browse throught a massive list of numbers to find what you are looking for. -
The reason is simple really, people gravitate towards things that gives more xp with less effort (myself included), well that is you can't afford a farm or don't trade farms or befriend a farmer ;p

Ok, I HOPE this hasn't been suggested before, anyways...
I was looking for an option to stop showing other people's heals/damage because in trails it can get quite hectic, all you see on screen is a bunch of numbers! the mobs hide behind the numbers and you can barely see what's going on, sometimes you get 1 hit ko'ed due to missing the screen message (and the numbers).
So simple request, an option -somewhere- to actually stop sending numbers other than your on. -
How about limiting to the same AT, but you can change its primary and secondaries (actually what I had in mind).

Has this been suggested? allowing people to buy retcon tokens to do a major repick of main/secondaries (or maybe just secondaries).
Would it be too powerful?
Hear me out, sometimes you make a character and have a cool concept in mind, but at the end it doesn't turn out as well as you planned it, or you don't get the "feel" of the set, by then you are about level 35 or 40+ and either end up dumping the poor thing to obscurity or outright deleting it! which is a dissapointment really
What are your thoughts? -
Greeting all, I will keep this short.
I love this game, plain and simple, but I've noticed as of lately that the developers have a weird trend related to wolf-like powers! We have:
1.Coyote travel power
2.Vanity Shadow Wolf from the booster packs
3.German Shepperd (not a wolf but they are related, and have four legs)
4.Umbra Beast (This does not fit the whole darkness control feel either, many have complained, and I agree, and is bugged and makes annoying sounds over and over again!)
5.The upcoming Beast mastery set, with not 1, but 2! count them 2 wolves! (and some lions to boot as well!)
I heard there is a new shadow panther stealth power in beta, I'm not sure of this so...
Anyways, I make a plea, please, stop the wolf fetish as someone in the help channel said, please add other interesting things to buy I implore you! -
This set is not perma, you are missing 3 luck of the gamblers and hasten isn't even permanent!

Not bad, you are 3% shy of recharge to permadom without hasten (you can still use hasten as a -recharge cushion).
I have used voltaic sentinel and while the power is ok on its own, having to recast it ever minute can get tedious, if only it would behave like any other pet...)
Here is my build, I prefer ranged to melee and it has no powersink, although the sleep patch with the aura can drain most foes quite fast, and while they sleep no less!
The Patron Pet can be permanent-esque if you use hasten (which is permanent as well).

This is the build I have in store, I would make it, but I already have an electric brute so I don't want to repeat a set again, not bad, just don't feel like doing it, I skipped the fire mastery for mu mastery. Why? it fits thematically and you only need 2 power picks for the targeted aoe as opposed to fire mastery which requires you to waste one more power, the build has aid self, but you can remove it and put something else if you so desire.

I think they haven't proliferated it yet to brutes so we have an excuse to roll a tanker XD, I mean, anything a tank can do a brute can do but with more damage!
Also Ice armor is a clunky mess, it gives both res and def in weird ways, sometimes gives defense and other powers give resistance, it makes it really hard to slot for an efficient set. -
I would drop something to grab build up, tanker damage isn't stellar, but at least build up helps here and there, also, don't tank mother mayhem, abyssmal def and res vs psi XD.

Try this one, It hits the softcap to all positional defenses (don't activate hide, since mids calculates it as if you were hidden, when you are discovered you keep like 2 def vs all) Could potentially reach the incarnate softcap (59) with a barrier or team buffs.

While there are no right or wrong builds, just optimal and less optimal ones, I think you are missing one vital gem from energy manipulation; boost range, no other set gives such an explicit boost to range other than energy manipulation.
I am in the midst of working on a similar set: electricity/energy/force, my idea behind this is to use range as a true defense by staying away from mobs while i pummel them with impunity from afar!
Someone told me that if mobs can't attack you, they tend to run away, so I recommend you grab the immobilization interface proc (spectral), you wanted a true blaster like I do, why were blaster given such a rubbish secondary will remain a mystery for me, the only melee attacks I have are for set mules, and one I can't skip sadly, with personal force field you can even use it to herd and deal with the mobs as you please.

This is the build I plan for my fortunata if I ever lever her, she has perma hasten/mind link, I went with mu mastery since robots resist psi, but they are usually weak vs energy, I gave her the aid pool since they lack healing, If you don't like psi tornado or the shackles, feel free to put something else that gives 6.25% recharge and it should be the same.

I would make a true tank mage (I wasnt around for itm but i heard at the beginning of the game you could mix and match ATs, one of the most popular ones was the fabled tank mage, the hold 'em and blast em' (Dom), or i would make a TRUE tank, any control set/armor, try and touch me lol)

Any weapon set that forces a redraw, I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE redrawing weapons every freaking time! The only AT i could bare to 38 is an archery/TA corruptor, for the others i end up dumping them or outright deleting them.
When will they ever address that complain, the world may never know... -
A fortunata build aiming for softcap defenses including, mindlink, psi res is about 60% (which makes it ideal for a heavy psi dmg farm) Has aid other and aid self to heal, well, others, and self XD, good soloing, great for parties as well!

Hello, I have a weird bug, my costumes won't show up in the select a costume window and I cannot see npc pictures either, could this be my graphics card? right now im using a laptop, the game isn't running at high framerates but is manageable. My biggest gripe is the aforementioned problems.
I downloaded the client from the trial page, but after a few days I got a time card and activated my real account, could this be a related issue? or did the system forgot to download smething from the client? I have no idea
Ill give my system specs to see if it helps:
intel pentium 1.3 ghz mhz fsb
3 gb of memory
the videocard i suspec is integrated to the motherboard or w/e don't know much about tehchnicalities.
