It was quite an easy run. As usual, the ambushes toward the end took a bit of standing around, but having a timer on the ambushes like I usually do lessens the pressure of staring at the doors in anticipation. I seem to think so anyway. lol
Great team. Great times. Thanks to those that still came out to run it. See you for the next one! -

Quote:Open your options menu and click on the "Graphics and Audio" tab.Im still confused about Ultra mode
can soemone tell me exactly what my settings need to be in order to (attempt to) run this game smoothly on my laptop?
thanks
If "Advanced Graphics Settings" is enabled, turn it off.
Slide the "Graphics Quality" slider down to Recommended.
If it's still not a smooth as you would like it to be, slide it down to Performance.
If worse comes to worse, set it all the way down to Minimum. At least it's better than safe mode. -

Tho I should have added the Midnighters Club.
Striga and Peregrine Island!
Then the PvP zones...
Siren's Call
Bloody Bay
Warburg
Recluse's Victory
Then Villain zones...
Mercy Island, Port Oakes, Sharkhe... oh do these not count? lol
How about Outbreak, Breakout, and Precinct 5? j.k
Edit:
I just remembered another one:
Lord Winter's Realm! woo-hoo! -
Quote:That's not even the point. Like I said before, most of the information the OP was looking for (including the badge they specifically mentioned) was directly spelled out in that section for quite some time and was correctly linked to by Lothic. I don't see the point in nit-picking over one or two missions that may or may not have been included at the time. Like you said.. it's all on the same page anyway. Why criticize Lothic for pointing the OP further down the page to a useful area?Compare the versions. Blondeshell added the information that the original poster was requesting -- badges that were missing from that list at the time of the original post.
Added to that section:
* [[Willy Wheeler#Defeat all Arachnos Personnel|There's a Sucker Born Every Minute]] (level 19)
* [[Lorenz Ansaldo#Take Down Sea Witch|Carpe Diem]] (level 24)
* [[Darrin Wade#Go over the plan|Midnight Draws Near]] (level 29) -
You have to click on the Security guard in that little tunnel that leads there to be granted access.
You can get there from Atlas, Galaxy, Skyway, Steel, an SG base Transporter, or Mission Transporter. -
I think that depends on what you are doing. For example, people who have alt-itis might have very low numbers compared to somebody who plays only very few characters.
In my case, my 3 badge hunters have the following numbers:
Master-Blade: 3239 hours
Teal Tabby: 1408 hours
Robin Rogue: 1146 hours
I don't consider either of those "insane". The only reason MB is so much higher than the others is because he earned Empath way back on the old requirements that took extra months of time than it did for the other two. -
Ask somebody who has access to the game at the time to check it for you.

According to your picture, your standard Chat tab has been moved to the top-right. Click on that to see your Team chat displayed again. Since there is no other tab in the lower half, the dividing line was removed. To get the Chat tab back down to a lower-half, Right click on the Chat tab and click "Move to Bottom".
Alternately, log onto a character that has the chat tabs set up the way you like them and type /chatsave, then log back onto the affected character(s) and type /chatload. -

I'm not aware of any changes with it. I wouldn't say accuracy is required to be slotted in it, but I don't think it's ever been Auto-hit as long as I can remember. Like any other power, add accuracy if it fits your needs.

Quote:The only thing I can figure is maybe they are testing it's function to make way for future reward badges that may act similarly. Some people have addressed concern about liking certain badge titles for their character on one side or the other, but don't want to lose access to them after actually switching sides. Having new badges act that way would solve that issue.I see no reasonable reason why these badges could not have just been cast in the "one badge with two names" scheme just like hundreds of others are. *shrugs*
Then again, I am just making it up as I go along, and I don't know why I would try to defend them for making these badges. I think it's a stupid idea as well. Why choose one or the other if you could just have both!? lol -
Quote:I agree with you completely, but I think they already forgot to adjust the requirements for the Supergroup beacons when the extra exploration badges were added to the zones. That kinda fits into the same category.I like it from the point of view that I'd likely get it almost by default on my main badging characters.
But the main problem with these "collective" type badges is that it sort of makes it hard for the Devs to ever add another badge that might apply without messing things up. They could do it of course, but they'd have to be careful to readjust the requirements of any related accolades like this.
That said, I don't think it'd be a good idea. I'd be willing to bet that more zones will be added to Praetoria eventually, and with that will come more exploration and history badges that would foul up any accolade awarded for earning all of them. -
Quote:I'm pretty sure they are mechanically two separate badges. They behave similarly to the badges during a Katie TF. There are ten separate badges for defeating Mary Macomber, each with their own settitle identifier (1585-1594), but when all ten are earned, the first 9 are removed. In this case, claiming each badge just removes the other just as the text says. They have different settitle identifiers as well (1292,1293). That's why the title does not change when switching sides, unlike the majority of badges which have the same settitle identifer for both sides/names.Clearly the Arriviste/Trusting badge is the same badge which simply has a hero name and a villain name. But unlike the hundreds of other badges in the game which have two names this is the first badge I'm aware of that does not automatically switch names when you switch alignments.
Either way, I agree with you that it's silly to do something like this with Event badges. -
Quote:I edited my picture above to show the 3 exit points on the map, and added a draft image to the Wiki as well:I did get in through the door but once i was in no door would let me out and i looked for over ten mins finally i had to ask someone with teleport to team with me and tp me out of there.
-
If you set a waypoint inside the facility, it should give you an arrow to the door to get in the front...
Click for fullsized Image
There is also a similar door in the back, and another on the East side, which i have marked on the map. -
You forgot the Transmogrified Accomplishment Badge awarded for completing the Trial.
Those other 3 badges are awarded for choosing the respec as your reward.
I'll also note and remind people that if you already earned 3 respecs from the Villainside trail, you cannot earn either of the 3 respec badges on Heroside, but you should still be able to earn Transmogrified.
As far as bosses for the Trial go, I think the only one is Sgt.Clayton in the door mission, but he's hardly worth mentioning. lol -
Quote:I have the crystal in my bases as well.. but I have not yet added my toon to the SG. If anybody else needs access to a Villain base, they are certainly welcome to join and use my base as well. It's got anything you'd ever need.. Medical bay, Teleports, storage, something like 300M extra prestige, so SG mode is certainly not necessary either. lolI need to hear back from the other team leaders to see if they have the Ouro Crystal in their bases. The team leader has to be level 25 as well to access said crystal (and arc). If you're not that level, or don't have the crystal, let me know. We can probably get someone into my VG for access to the crystal, or I can help your team start and then quit.
It's not active anymore, but it's there if anybody needs a home for storage, TPs, or whatever. If not, if anybody is willing to join temporarily to invite my other toon, that'd be great too. -
That badge is so power hungry that it ate everything and became a black hole and consumed itself.
-
Yes it's animated, and the PP is the only costume power that it sticks around with. It's quite strange.
I honestly don't remember the time. We didn't speed through, so i think it was right around 45m or so? -
We mostly defeated everything in our path for the Respec. We then ran a few Halloween Tip missions as defeat-all as well. It was quite enjoyable.
Gratz to all!
On a side note.. why is it my character keeps her tail when using the Paragon Protector Costume? lol
I doubt this is intended. haha
-
I have to ask the obvious.. did you have debt at all? That could have cut your gain in half for one of them.
As for the MoG.. it would explain it if one of them used the power and the other didn't have the chance.
Is this repeatable? Can you go back and defeat the same enemies again with the same results? -
It sounds like he wanted the Pilot badge title for his character... which he wont be able to use once he goes back to his native Blueside, because the badge name will change.
-
The only thing I can think here is that it's treating the entire line as a single command and ignoring the $$, so I'm wondering if that text program is using a special version of the $ that the game is not recognizing?
-
I started badging on my lvl 50 Tanker (and lvl 50 Corruptor) almost exactly a year ago. The Halloween event is a great time to start because the Winter event is right around the corner, and Valentines after that. The time inbetween events and the rest of the year lets you catch up on everything else... but at least you wont have to wait til next year for the events you missed.. cause you did those first. lol
Anyway.. the point is that I've pretty much caught up to my main badge toon with both of them by now. It's never too late to start. Just make sure you complete the events as they come so you aren't missing it all year long.
