well i can sum all the data mining they got tonight in one statement, the servers need upgrading , i got on and got badge, tried to fight and stood around unable to move, went to my home server pinnacle, and even we were having lag.

well I think the LFG is a case of the DEVS have a very good idea on paper, they install it very well, but they players find a simple better way (teaming in a co-op zone). the only way I can see for them to make it used more, is to make it the tool for cross-server teaming.

just had ours on pinnacle, the great and glorious Emperior Cole was victorious in bringing his loving hand to pinnacle, and routing the weak forces of resistance . All Hail Cole.


lag was still there, not as bad as other servers, still several sec delays for the powers to activate, and some standing in place. As we are a less used server, the number of players to fight off the invasion was not enough.

Tomorrow's freedom event should be even more interesting.

personally, I think they should give us FREE transfers, they added the new server list,and this is the 7 year celebration month. seems they may be trying to raise money,It must be time for the checking of the books, they have trimmed as far as they can, so now they charge for anything they can.

they next will be announcing price increases,and then point to well we merged the list, gave yo u this and that ,and use it to justifiy the price increase. and if you just spent $$$ to get more slots, and transfers, of course you will stay around for the new price plan.

well, if i remember correctly, do they not have to do financial reports to NCsoft? and I think one of the stats that they have to report is number of accesses. of course they "fudge" the numbers by having reactivation weeks, or 2x weekends, where we log into several toons and each one adds to the count even if it is the same account.

NA linage is being shut down,and I "think" aeon just did some kind of merger, seems to be a bit of streamlining of NCsoft.

I have noticed that due to the grind of the new incarnate powers, after getting them slotted,more players using what powers they can in other than Incarnate Trials.

I was doing a hami raid last night with my demon/thermal MM. I was part of the buff team for the lead tank.I was using my single target heal ,and normally it does about 395 points of healing, at one point i checked and it said I was doing 0 points of healing.

both of us was in the "goo",and he was not in full health, I understand healing is surpressed a bit in the "goo" but why so much? I was a lvl shifted 51.

i had to swap my modem with Time Warner today, I had it since Feb 2005 and it started needed daily reboots.

Right now I am at 7M down and 512K up, the next tier is 15M down and 768K up, and its almost $10 more a month. My question is playing COx would it be worth it?

my game machine specs are:

I7-920
nvidia 470
Win 7 Enterprise 64 bit
12 Gig ram
and 300G 10k rpm raptor HD

I also have a killer Nic installed.

and I run at 1920X1200 on a 28 inch lcd.

as the 3rd gen of SSD are coming out theyare starting to be some good deals on 2nd Gen.

would that make a big difference?

i have a offbeat question, we were told that the server list merger would happen before the end of summer, ok fine,if you had done it in June or July, we all would be just as happy or more so,If the new server list merger has ANYTHING to do with the mega LAG we had,and you knew it might happen, why do it just before start of the events?

on a second thought,maybe the DEVS wanted to see how bad the old tech was ,then install/patch/whatever just before the Freedom mega event,and if it handles the event very easily and with no problems . they can have real numbers to support their claims

welli got on for 25 mins . It was a super lagfest,70+sec for power activation,we were all standing still. rubber banding totally crazy, I will be ordering my COLE for King tee-shirt as we could not do anything to fight.

it really was bad, all kidding aside, if the rest of the events go this way, i will just login on 27 to get badge,then get the heck off the server.my time will be better served on my PS3.

I have a small suggestion on the event, If they want to test peak,why not remove the caps on the other servers as they have the events? so for example freedom players can go to try to cap out liberty or even pinnacle? that way if something goes badly, they can regroup and have more chances to gather the data they want.
they could even offer us free transfers to have us move toons to other servers

well if it only freedom,then how much will people be ticked if the server is full,or crashes, or the players who only play on weekends, or at a time other than the event window.,this has the potential of really blowing up in their faces,and giving the game a bad name,
or players who do NOT have char on freedom will have to create and PL to 50 to unlock incarnate, to get any kind of special incarnate rewards.

this is really a mind field for them.

I was here for the 1st Halloween event,and a lot of players were upset that it was only during the week, wed-fri if i remember correctly, the weekend players were upset.so the next time it was a week long event

got lots of lag, slide shows, and several DCs on the team. and this was on a 6 person ITF on Freedom.

well i think the push to add stuff should be slowed down as a LOT of stuff still has bugs.

just on a BAF on freedom it was slide show time and power tray ghosting of powers

one thing to try is check out usage with Ultra mode on , then check it turned off. I remember a thread where some computer graphics experts were saying that Ultra mode in COH was a "brute force" method that might be why in part of the high usage.

i have had a few mapserver in BAF since this patch, and I also have had LAG LAG LAG ,
slideshow lag, did not have this before fri, this is only in pocket d a little bit, then the BAF,a lot. not any I can see in other zones.

I have 2 machines, one patched fine with 64 bit windows 7, the other got the error, and I had to removed COx and reinstall with the old loader, it also had 64 bit windows 7 pro.

I have a computer that has built in video, It has a ATI 3000 video chipset, I want to upgrade the video, I will NOT be running Ultra Mode. The system has a 480 watt PS,and only has a HD, nothing else. I was thinking of buying a GeForce GT 430 . i picked it mostly due to 1 gig ram and only a 350 watt PS needed.


Is this a bad choice? instead of Duel boxing ,with my I7/470,I will be using the second box for my second account.

Any thoughts?

well it was a fluff piece. loved how she side stepped a few questions, no mention how AE blew up in their faces, had super farms being made right and left,had one DEV scold us like we were little kids.

All in all just a free bit of advertising. Do have one question? why do we see advertising on TV for lots of other MMOs but I have yet to see any for COH? We have several SuperHero themed movies coming out this year and for now 1 TV show but no ads?

my main trouble with the I Fitness is that i can not find 3 more powers that I think fit into the char concept. And they must be somewhat useful with only 1 slot. as for the trials, i have a fairly powerful computer, and right now I get slide shows sometimes. now we are going to add up to 48 in a trial. even more slide shows,now i could turnoff ultra mode,but why should I?( cpu i7 with 12 gigs ram,nvidia 470gtx, and win7 enterprise 64 bit) and now one of the slots
will add a "pet",and what about MM? with 6 pets per?

now add in the "possibility" of cross-server teaming(my own tin foil hat thought) now it is City of Lag.
