fluff piece, best information was about the halloween event times,still waiting for IOP and COP as was promised many months ago.

well i for one would not rush out and do any renaming or transfers, several times theyhave mentioned going toa "servless" system may be coming, and they follow up by saying thereare no plans this CALENDER year,I belive them but Jan 1 2008 is NOT that far off,imaging spending 40-60 dollars and then finding it is all MOOT.

well in all this goodness ,I see one small fly in the ointment,if you "flashback" too far, all those great IO set bonuses will be lost.so in some cases you could be fighting as there were NO slots (other than original) in your power,and if you are too far below the one remaining slot it will act as it is empty!

as a test once i had to do a respec and sold all my enhaments and tried amisson with no enhaments , the basedamage was not enough to do the misson

well the main problem ,with 2 exceptions of servers is NOT knowing how many people are playing on each server,not just the number of access or such, if i have 10 chars on a server and in a typical night I access each to say check sales on WW or BM,but only play my lvl 50 char, this means there is only 1 player on the server NOT ten due to the number of accesses,I would be stupid to pay any amount of money to move a "playing" char from a server that averages 400 players to one that only has 200

also in real life you have something known as min critical staffing,so on a server there would be min char playing, if eiter side of a server gets below a certain lvl of "active" chars,the game for that server could become almost unplayable,for example what if on a server the players left all like COH and hardly play COV(or the reverse) and I am a player that like to play the "lesser" side,am I to be "forced" to abandon chars that I have invested hundred of hours in because I can't find a right group?

I know this will be a sticky problem,and could get ugly,

well i plan on only giving a few polite suggestions, yes some people will vent their spleens,
but it is 1000X harder to ignore a question face to face,than to hide behind a posting, questions like "why is grandville still so laggy?,when do you forsee upgrading a the PPU support(severalrevs behind right now),when do you see COP being fixed? do you every see co-op zones happening for COx?

will X bug be fixed?what ever happend to adding a new starting zone in COV? similr to galaxy to atlas?
and other such questions,or any idea when we wil be allow to start some villians in COH or heros in COV?epic AT for Villians when?OR questions like I have a super duper system, with all the great specs,8800,duel cores,high speed cable,why is my framerate so low?,what system specs do you guys use ?many patches ago we used to have another row of insperations, you deleted them due to design problem,its been years now can we get them back?

you spend so much time preventing us from tweening between chars,and yet we keep asking for it,why not give in and let us do it?

I would like to see a panel disscussion where we can talk about our gripes,concerns,and hope for the game, BUT it would have to not be a smoke and mirrors meeting,meaning that we give you our suggestions, good or bad,and you do not flush them the moment the event is over(not saying you would)
yes there will be some Neg talk about the game,but if it is constructive you should get it,if all you are looking for is us to stroke your ego and tell you how wonderful you are,it would be a waste of time.

well as a 32 month veteran,I plan on ignoring IO for at least 6 months ,if not forever,I like and enjoy just using the standard TO,DO,SO enhaments,and as long as the DEVs don't do anything to mess that up(limit drops,increase prices, shut down the SO stores) i will use the take it or leave it appoach and leave it

well maybe they are making the hami such a pain that we all will jump on the lets farm for IO bandwagon.personally I thik IO are going to be a pain and boring, I would rather do a 2 hour hami raid than farm for IO salvage

soo what happens in 4-6 months when the "NEW" hami is as old hat as the current? when the players have figured out a safe, fast way to win?I know the "new and improved" hami raids,my only request instead of a 24 hour limit it be either 20 or 22 hours, take the case we start the raid at 8pm est, and finsih at 10 pm est, then having to wait til 10 pm the next day, as some of have a small habit of sleeping and going to work , if it was lesser it would still limit the repeatable and give us a small cool down time

I wonder why do drops with GM,as it happens now,on pinnicle at least , Lucy goes unchallenged, except for tf no one hunts babbage,even though he is suppose to spawn out of the tf, kraeken ,usally gets hunted but not allways, and I have seen up to 3 clockwork palidens running around,most heros once we get the badges and such ignore the GMs especilly since the 300% buff they were reduced down to after the issue 7 uber buff.
and here is abig surprise coming I have a lvl 49.95 stalker and have only done LRSF once, due to 95% of the teams NOT wanting me,I am grateful for the one time and got the badges but if some of the better drops are on that one, then I will be left out of the running,for them.and will be forced to buy them or create a char type "needed" so I can get runs and transfer between chars,now I don't really blame the DEVS on this one due to its the players who are "limiting" the char they take on

my take is tht it is a PR event so that while they are at comic-con ,they can tell the reporters tht they are running a event for the subscribeers as they speak.after all the bad press they have gotten they need some good press, double xp is fine but Iam in no rush ,my first 50 took 700 hours my second 500 and my lvl 47 hero abut 400 so far, to me lv 50 is a journey not a destination

one small queston, should the exploration badge name have changed to hangwoman? for Female chars?

racing home to see the vampire/horror show "Dark Shadows", or the show "I dream of Jeannie", or when the tonight show was on 90 minutes and from New York before it moved to LA, for the record I'm 49,or the show wild wild west, or watching roy rogers or sky king

i would make 1 small change switch the order of swift and recall friend, it makes you more team friendly a few lvls eariler and should work fine

as to mods, their is the dark side of it,hacks that let you see through walls on some games,some hacks made you invunable ,or so you did not take damage, and now with PVP entering the game, they have to be extra careful
i run a mod of diablo2 on my home system, I play it a lot as it got around some of the limits of the game I did not like, as it only effects single player game , i see no harm but If it would to be used in multi player , people would abuse it,and for the record I ran a game server for 5 years and know how mods can make things unstable

well as much they ar hyping these binders they should do a lot of checking
they seem to be trying to milk this game with all the "other" game stuff coming out.

on team play I have one big problem with the new badge system, we ar suppose to be heros ,yet if my team is going after the squid, I as a healer should not do the right thing and use my heals on other teams members, that I would be better for me to let the other hero get defeated, and forced to go to hospitial so that the other teams
damage total is lowered, and the same for my controller ,only bubble my team mates, this might be a little off topic, but as we are talking about team playing I thought I might give my 2 cents, both of my mains have the badges so this is not a problem but part of the fun is when I play skin chick I think like a healer and my motto is not on my watch, mud's is ill hold you smack. current ly I can solo certain types of mission as both chars, as long as I am prepared, I spent 2 hours one night a few months ago fighting the DE, a team could have done it in 30 mins or so but I had to play sneaky and do a lot of pulling, and I must say it was fun, this game is going through a lot of growing and reshaping and it will for the full length of time it is online, that is one of the charms of it.look haow the game has changed for day 1 to now day 400(approx), I have no idea where we will be at day 1200 but hopefully it should be fun

I'd like the option at post 40 NOT to take a power and get slots instead,I dont see very many (maybe 1) power I would like for my toon after 40,she is a healer and does some damage ,with all the notmal powers the new epic dont interest me(for her),but to be able to get 3 slots insteat of a filler power that I will not be useing just to get to the next power
