But 37.5% is really really nice. Too nice to be believed. If its true then I'll probably not bother with Res slots in it, just a couple of End Reducers should be enough. I mean, Elements/Energies Res takes a number of slots to get to 37.5%.

I concur with the above. NEVER put more than three of the SO in any power. Its simply not worth it.

And you'll need damage and accuracy in those attacks, especially Total Focus and Energy Transfer. Energy Transfer also doesn't need end reducers, as it uses very little because it takes a small percentage of your health to power. Put recharge it in.

Can't go wrong with the obvious choices in either the Fire or Ice Epics, with Fire probably the more favoured. Powers of note are the single target hold and ranged attack(s) included.

Energy Mastery, although kind of out of place in your kind of powerset choice, is also heavily favoured due to the greatness of Conserve Power and Focused Accuracy. MBar's got Energy Mastery and only those two powers from it, and I can certainly recommend it.

anyone got any idea what the base Psi Res this gives is? according to Hero Planner it something like 37.5% which is a really high base value if true.

I (for some reason) felt the need to actually cobble together "The origin of ..." for each of my toons. Well, all except Infest, who I honestly cannot think of anything for. Most of the origin stories have been there from the start and have now been refined. They're not neccessarily done as yet, but as close as needs be I think.

Since at least two of them are over the top and ridiculously long, I'll not post them on the actual board. They're all available on the detailed info page for my toons linked in my sig below.

And he's exactly right. I was literally punching this Boss in the face constantly, yet still he turned round and kept shooting poor ol' Shadow Ember.

I would suggest that you probably have your set's Aura on and it's pulling quite a bit on you. Let us know what powersets you are.

I like Weaken, and frankly I have noticed it's effect when it hits, so much so I have started referring to it as the "Neuter".

Throw it at a boss or something and watch him be [censored] for a while.

General battle plan:
1. Envemon first minion, set pets to attack him.
2. Weaken the next one to reduce the damage he does.

If there's a boss involved, he gets both and priority ninja-smacking.

Haven't got it yet with my MM, but why are you even concerning yourself with it? Just call out a new set of minions, the recharge etc. aint that long.

IMHO, all the powers in the Invuln Primary should be taken it some stage. Concerning Unstoppable, it is an excellent panic button, but dont overlook its usefulness when tanking enemies that use a lot of Elements/Energies. MBar's got it six-slotted now I think (3 Damage Resistance, 3 Recharge).

Taunt makes everyone attack you, which equals Fury.

Meaning you are a Tanker of sorts, but that's what I was going for anyway.

I'm inclined to agree with the Broadsword/Axe/Mace requests. Currently the heroes can merrily chop lumps out of foes with lethal weapons while the villains do not have the option. Seems they have it backwards ...

Maybe they're scared of the absolute uberness that would be a Broadsword Brute

What Tundra said. Basically, Resistance only works up to a point. Thats a lot of End drain you had on you there, maybe it beat the Resistance.

Or maybe the smeggers just got lucky.

Anyway, try playing something that has no End Drain Resistance and no Defense until you get into the mob.

MBar's seemed alright in I6 so far, played a good bit in the I5 build. Respecced now to an I6 build and need further testing before making my mind up.

More and more I become convinced there were existing Damage, Resistance etc. caps within the powers that we simply were not told about. I think I'm taking more damage in I6 but I cannot be sure. And that is surely a good sign.
