I think a lot of the big set pieces and costumes are more for those of us watching Glee as opposed to being in canon as actually being worn / built as evidenced by how the show cuts between various Glee room shots and the dressed up auditorium. If the set is 'real' they usually stay on the set instead of jumping back and forth.

This is not so bad. Why? It's an elseworlds story basically, set on Earth 1 which is not the main DCU.
So we can just happily brush it aside and continue knowing that 'duh superman is superman' and not worry about this emo punk version. -
I'm glad they went through with the 'reveal' at the end; something they won't have to dance around anymore.

This season hasn't really been as good as the first. The first season was well planned out in terms of songs and relevance to plot and all the subtle looks or cuts to emphasize character bits where well timed. Second season has been one 'its the X episode' after another with plot being strung along to fit the theme of the week instead of the other way around.
So seeing a second season episode is very different than seeing a better planned first season episode and would taint your view of the show considerably. -

The market simply does not work the way you want it to. The market is not a store.

Quote:Well considering ever character in the game would be changed that would require changing the base data structure that stores characters and any code that uses that data structure. It's quite likely that it represents a plain old 32-bit integer data type in some database somewhere.
That said, converting a type to 64 bits is usually not particularly hard. Usually. May not be worth it, though.
All kinds of problems creep up when you go from one data size to another, especially in a code base that is years old. -
I think that throttling the spending of A Merits is too redundant. We can only earn them so fast anyway, when we can decide to spend them should not be up to the devs since we already took the time to earn them.

Quote:We do not get rich off of the poor casual players. Why not ? They are poor casual players, they can't afford to use the market so they don't.I was thinking (surprise!) about the cap and I would posit that having a cap helps to keep the ebil marketers in check.
I mean, if the cap were 10 quadrillion, wouldn't the "rich" try to get still richer, at the ultimate cost of the poor casual player? With the hard cap and the logistical limitations of storing value in excess of the cap, I would argue that this is a disincentive for amassing wealth just for the sake of amassing wealth.
Now, when we find out that 2bn is the cap for prestige as well, boy I'm gonna be angry!
We get rich off of lazy somewhat wealthy players that don't want to wait for stuff. -
The 'quoted dev' is Castle and he thinks that getting around the 2 billion cap is not something that was intended when the game was created.
His opinion is his opinion and not dev decided law on the matter of influence caps.
Honestly the 2 billion cap is just something that was not designed with the market in mind. It's only an issue now because the devs didnt realize how the market would effect the game. -
The market is not a store. The market is not a charity.
If players want to use the market they must learn that it is a market. -
Quote:You mean Christopher Reeve ..... but ya Singer's film was a total wank fest for Donner.Well i hope they get someone better to play the part this time, instead of a skinny kid that only got the part becasue he looked like Mr. Read.
I'm 90% positive hollywood cannot manage a solid superman movie. The people with money won't green light anything worthwhile. -
So they off'ed the female dick. The thing I don't get is - why do these guys follow mom's boss and why are they just robbing banks if he is a ceo at a big company?
They also never showed the perps being arrested - did they have a powered escape plan or what ? -
There is likely some kind of deals Hollywood is getting to work in NO, since it helps their economy to have large projects there so much.
-
she can do stuff other people have made, but can she make her own stuff ?

So Cat Grant pushes Clark to become Superman ...... ..... The new 'suit' he's got is a baby step, I wonder how far into the season before he goes full monte. I'm hoping it will be for more than just the last episode given that Darkseid is supposed to be the villain.

The only thing the episode was really meant for was to showcase Heather's dancing skilz. Heather is fairly hot, brittany not so much.

Giving players access to more powers but not more slots seems fundamentally flawed. If it were up to me, I'd add slots to the fitness pool at various levels instead of giving players more slots to use anywhere directly.

I've been testing my tanks to see which ones handle the cube spawns best. My results show that while my stone tank can handle it, my dark tank is superior when not overwhelmed by defense debuffs. This mainly came about by using Cloak of Fear. With it up, I could survive indefinitely against spawns that were killing my willpower and stone tanks. So trying Dark tanks might be a reasonable tactic for better managing cube spawns, they have better resistances than non granite tanks and Dark Regen + Cloak of Fear.
Also I think Assault (60-80% + damage if a full team uses it) would help teams deal more dps, along with getting at least 1-2 sonic blasts to improve -res. Maneuvers may help cut down or slow down team wipes as it also gives a buffer for the -def of the Eyeballs.
Survival against the spawns comes down to handling Eyeballs ASAP. The -def will be the thing that kills tanks and teams alike. Most toons with good psi defense or resistance dont have alot of defense debuff resistances. -
I use 666 as well as some other people I guess, so you'll have to find a more unique one.
-
hmph well since everyone is hellbent on peeing in the RPers cheerios I guess I'll just do the guardian one on my own and see how long it takes me to move up the prestige ladder. A one man effort, 88 billion....it's gonna be rough.
-
Well I started a chapter of crazy 88s on guardian. We can move on to bigger goals after me thinks. Send tell to @Cyvert if you wish to join.
