  1. I am totally in favor of this system. I hate outlevelling and the fact I still have contacts in my list that will not talk to me anymore.

    Ouroborous is just not the same.

    Outlevelling on purpois..! Sorry... I think those EB's and AV's in those missions are designed for you to get help in form of a team. In this caase you are able to look longer for a team to help you. You have time enough as you never really outlevel it anyway.

    Outlevelling on purpois is standing directly against all requests from players that at some point this game starts to become too easy. I think some challenge should stay. And fighting an EB or AV should always be a challenge. That includes SeaWitch.

    We don't have the tech to make one movement power have multiple, customisable animations. Walk, sprint, prestige sprint, prestige slide, superspeed, ninja run... they cannot be customised yet. Maybe in the future, but not now, and not until the work is put in to support it.
    I KNOW it cannot be done YET!. I also know that this would be the answer to a lot of requests if it was made.

    Thats the reason I moved the idea into the suggestion as a seperate idea.

    What I meant is that the tech that switches animation is made for other powers. Just not for the travel powers. Ofcourse this needs changes in the travel powers and the way to access them. Not unlike the ones made for the normal power customisation.

    That is just what I meant here... That should be done. From there the game can grow more easily (in travel powers at least).
  3. Combining tp foe and tp ally into tp other and then add a combat tp would get my vote.

    Combat tp has to become no hover... high end (at least 2-3)... and max 20 in distance. Without any animation so the cast time would become not higher then 1 second... BUT interruptable or it would be to strong.

    Just a basic layout idea... this gives less slots... better control over the animation that we use and leaves the possibility too make more and more additions to the powers. Almost all powers involving travel is just an animation change or Aura/Effect add to one we already have.

    Feel free to give possible animations using the same power as the one we already have here too...

    But the old Martial Arts robes clip at the back of even a female toon during the leaps while Ninja Run is toggled on. Also the sashes made to be used with these robes are now higher in the back and clip incredible with the robe.

    This is what I immediatly did on my Martial Arts / Super Reflex Scrapper Yim Wing-Chun... I respeced Super Jump out to only leave in Hasten and Combat Jump. Freeing a space for another power there.

    Its logical... as long as the Ninja Run fits youre concept and is ok for you to use as travel. In her case it is... Ninja Run + Swift + Quickness + Sprint = win!

    hmm... all those reactions on why Paragon city has fewer cars is a bit of nonsense... We all should accept that Paragon has fewer cars then a normal city because of the lagg it would have given when the game started.

    With the upgrading of ISP speed and clients... And the upgrading of the gfx in Going Rogue the traffic should start resembling a living city.

    A living city has a lot more cars... and an AI of its own. It has schools... children running around... motor cycles... bycicles, taxi's and busses too. More city sounds outside should be there too.

    There is a freeway in Skyway... and it has fewer cars then drive through my small street :S Really... moving along as a hero in outside zones is only problematic when starting out. And Atlas Parc is a parc that can easily have some traffic rules to keep it more free. The rest of the city need more life!

    Maybe something that is coordinated by a slider in the options. Up slider for a % of more traffic. Based on you re gfx performance.
  9. I am all for this.. the ninja's in the Tsoo force should have it. And the ninja pets from the mm power should have it too.

    A new animation should always be used to make more diversity in the world we live in.
  10. Idea is good.. timeing is bad. For this you need almost a day. And you want to start on sunday?

    People have work and school on monday.

    If you want to try this I am game for it with my main and maybe a few more of my SG. But then we better start on saterday after noon... With possibility to goon all night through.

    On topic... Love what I seen so far. My Ninja and my Wing-Chun fighter both will love this. Might remove the travel all together now. And go for the Swift + Hurdle _ Ninja Run + Sprint + Quickness combo (with additional combat mode in Combat Jump)

    Not sure about the overly Ninja pose on the run though. It looks a bit out of place on a Wing-Chun or a Wushu fighter. Then again.. would be ok on a Samurai.

    Would it be positively stupid to give everyone the ability to breath under water? Absolutely.

    Single power pool:
    Passive that added the ability to breathe under water, as well as another minor buff (to make it useful when not underwater)
    Passive that increased swim speed and run speed
    a swim travel power, which would have a low endurance cost, and in combat offer mez protection. Could only be active in water.
    A leadership style power which grants all nearby allies the first power in the pool.

    And have NPC vendors who will sell a temp toggle which allows water breathing, and a slightly increased swim speed.
    I like this ALOT! But I would change the temp power to a breathing apparatus/diving gear. Like the jetpack. Sell it.. and / or make it a recipe we can buy and make.
  21. Power profilation on Masterminds is not possible as you can't switch the powers as a whole with any other AT... but...

    What if all powers stick that are pet related and the powers in-between cross over to other Mastermind sets.

    For instance...

    Dual Pistols (from Thugs mm) also available for Necromancy mm etc.

    This should be technical possible.

    Aside of that. Some nice characters will show their face.
