In the low levels you could get some extra xp on teh streets with ease with a mm without ANY risks. Stand on a high point and have all pets out. Then select the furthest enemy you can target and send teh pets to there... when the target shows its dead select the one close to the pets and attack again.
Killing many for nice xp from miles and miles awayLike a real mastermind. I had lots of fun in the low levels this way. Got me an extra few levels in between. . to survive some missions.

Ice enemies would slow you down.. cold ress is harder to get.
You need to speed up your recharge..? -
Yes.. I wanne know too. At the moment we access directly to the EU test server. But both test servers are still active. At one point the eu test server will be dismantled. So do we reinstall then??????? And how..?
-
yes.. i think it is a great idea to update the look of ICON.
Would it be possible to rotate the mannequins look using the advertisement system? -
Quote:My Mastermind has been the only one doing the trials since the start. And by sheer creativity and constant doing them I managed all powers on T3 (exept Alpha on T4). I am just started on my second rare for interface. And again I will have to create it with shards/threads/conversions.I guess I can't see what the fuss is all about here from those that are getting lucky and those that are not. Some ats do get screwed by this participation method so why not adjust it or remove it as the player is requesting? We're all in this system together, I don't see why anyone would say nothings wrong with the current system when clearly something is still wrong if anyone is still getting nothing but uncommons/commons and the threads table.
My main was one of the very lucky and she got her first 4 t4s crafted in the first week of this and now has 14 t4s (for different builds and situations) I'm sure someone out there probably has more than that or has them all crafted at this point.
Do you see the difference? This is a bit more then luck! Oh... and its not debuff or pure damage that I lack as I can usually solo AV's. I throw everything I have and more at the enemy. -
Now that we have more server we stumble on this problem.... The member cap is too low on global channels
-
ohh.. that seems like the transfer goes over a seperate system that was not tested yet.
This needs to be fixed asap!!! -
Oh Cool! It has been a while since we had a Doom post without any solid backup for info pulled out of a hat.
- sequals to MMO's only result in splitting the player base. And is NOT a good idea!
- an engine update or complete replacement only means a bigger update download (and we now have a new downloader able to handle that in better speeds)
Especially in City of Heroes where our toons are more unique and holds more emotional attachment loosing/abandon them for another game (sequal) will not happen. It will only result in a second game with at least 90.000 subs still on the original. Everything on this shows that this is an awefully bad descision.
Just update/replace the current engine! -
Cap Au Diable, the morning before the invasion
Elizabeth could be found in her laboratoria. It was a place that could have been taken from an old Bela Lugosi movie. Copper pipes run along the walls to big containers... and exposed electricity was ocassionally lighting up the room. On the stone slabs where two bodies... one obviously Rikti... the other human. The remnants of a red and white Longbow uniform was still visible. Tubes flowed into their veines the needles sticked on with tape.
The Longbow seemed unconcious even though he shivered with pain... but the Rikti was cursing her in his own language. Elizabeth simply smiled and took a vial of the table marked 'Version 2.5a 10-05-2011'. With her other hand she connected the vial of potion using an old multiple-use BD Vacutainer to the tubes. Slowly the potion... a mixture of magic and science... entered the blood of the two beings. At first there seemed no reaction at all. Then both testsubjects began to shake. The Longbow gave a small scream and woke up... his eyes wide from fear. He looked to his side and saw the Rikti who stopped cursing and was shaking his whole body. Then a reaction started and the skin of the Rikti began to smoulder and dissolve until only a puddle of organic mesh was left. A process that only took a minute or two.
The surviving human began pulling his restrains again. Slightly annoyed with him the vampire-witch turned to him and broke his neck in one fast move.
She was pleased though. The serum she and her scientists had developed was able to directly kill a Rikti extremely efficient without killing the humans. Ofcourse the hostbody of the Rikti died... but that was not her concern. That body was lost to her as food scource anyway. It would have been better thouogh if it was airborn or had some other easy way to spread it out. That was the reason why she had given a sample to Edward Mechano. If the Rikti would use the weakened dimensional borders too they would be in for a surprise.
She nodded to one of her servants in the corner. It moved his undead limbs slowly... understanding that it was his job to clean up and drain the human body of his life-bringing fluids at the same time.
While she walked back to her chambers the Lich Vladimir came down the stairs which connected the castle area to the house on top. In his hand was a letter. He handed it over to the countess with a small bow. "Mistress... this was just delivered!"
Elizabeth opened it with her nails and read it carefully. The letter was from Edward Mechano! No news yet on her sample... but a location. The invasion would come in the open now and all involved would gather. She nodded to Vladimir... "Warn the others!", she said.
The letter gave the location of the Krimzon Guard base... as was the pre-battle meeting location. But her Arachnos spies had already warned her that they where forbidden to interfere. Stefan was not letting his men get involved in this attack. So someone was bending the rules here. She passed her throne in the direction of her office and held the letter to her lips thinking. The Guard was following their own agenda... and Recluse obviously hoped his enemies would get themselves killed in defence of the Isles. That was interesting intelligence to say the least.
Tonight she will be at the meeting... She and her Court will fight, and they will win! But she was sure that this attack was only the beginning. The beginning of an invasion the world had not seen before. -
Because of the future Steam punk Pack (and teh fact I am having one now and unsure about his name)

Steampunk name generator -
Yes! Even though my global is from history... and I know there are versions of that name on every server... it survived as my global.
Still @Elizabeth Bathory
Very glad -
Red side went pretty well and fast yes.
But the lag at some points was incredible! 10 sec wait!? Neh.. sometimes much longer. Or simply not responding at all. I did notice that some powers where more lagfree then others.
I even saw my zombies stand still... and they where on aggressive and attacking. No idea if they did damage while I saw them standing still.
Lag as much as this I consider 'broken'! There is no way to play... -
Feeling more and more like attending too...
Already checking fonds...

Still @Elizabeth Bathory
No change .. thank the dark lords! -
Quote:If you can send me some questions your reporter would ask at least... I am willing to make up a lot around that. Try not to get him on the tech.. he talks your ears off heheheThanks guys! You rock
Any chance of a writeup from his point of view on some of his travels or his abilities? If you're not comfortable writing it from scratch I can send some prompting questions for an interview instead. I can meet you ingame to nab some screenies to go with or as with the Liz interview you can throw your own at me
Howler when you see me ingame... for teh screenies -
we now need a global purge for those who havent been used in ages
-
Welcome
Even though your not here yet.
Usually rp will treat you like an equal unless the person is a big-shot like an SG leader ... which could result in you being treated like a youngster. -
That would suck for the full villains like Liz. She will not set a foot in Atlas park! (cannot atm)
-
Quote:omg! So many of them..I sincerely hope the poor NA person with @Dante as their Global knows what they're letting themselves in for!
They'll be forever confused with the famous EU dancing Dante
I really hope that they decide to change so our EU @Dante can keep his global.
Also, a farewell to all my EU friends about to lose their Global names:
@Beet : @Bunny : @Crimson Archer : @Dante : @Eleven : @Gangrel : @Lucius : @Night : @Omega Chief : @Q. : @Romanov : @Shadow Phoenix : @Tyger
One thing is for sure.. the amound of shafting after this will be very small indeed. We only need our clients merged so all serials can be used on all versions... then its even harder to shaft EU. -
RP I do on every level... the character I play may be less powerful but that can be the result of a diversity of reasons and easily explained.
-
will do my best to watch during work.. and try to do my work in between as fast as possible
-
Writers control the levels of power and who is winning in the comics. Based on the fans and the magazine the story is in.
Dr. Strange should always win over Hulk. As a simple dimensional spell could banish the green goliath. Or a spell of hypnotism or sleep. But...
if the same story would be in a Hulk magazine the outcome could be different and the Hulk would do some unexpected thing or would be buffed or he would be lucky. A floor trash would result in a small piece of junk hitting the magician etc.
Double standarts is like this. The person that the writer wants to win at that moment will do so... to appease the fans of teh book that the story takes place in.
Batman would overcome gods if the fans think he can do it! It just takes longer thinking for the writer to find a possible loop hole! -
