EU Test after the Merge

As I have not been able to get on the EU test server since the one occasion when they had the open time during the closed beta test for Incarnate stuff ,I hope that we will be able to access the US one .

My guess is that it'll be removed - they only really need on Beta server and one Test server.

Are there any plans to port the existing characters from the EU Test server to either the (formerly NA) Training Room or the GR Beta server?
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I need too, even doesnt appears EU Servers on character copy tool in order to clone your characters to Test Server.
Please Fix it
OK I just had to format my computer and I'm an EU player. How exactly do I set up the launcher to get it to connect to the Test Server? And to which Test Server am I connecting to?

Update: got access to both, just remembered to add an EU before my account name.
To set them up, I followed the instructions on the sticky at the top of this forum section.

How to install the European Test Server client - If you have the NCsoft Launcher installed 1. Run NCsoft Launcher shortcut to get the latest update. 2. The NCsoft Launcher will start. 3. Create a copy of the NCsoft Launcher desktop shortcut. 4. Right click on the new shortcut and open the Properties option. 5. In the Target window, add the following flag to the end of the line: [space]/LaunchGame=euCohTest 6. Run the shortcut. 7. The NCsoft Launcher will open, starting a City of Heroes Beta installation. 8. Click Install. 9. If you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7, confirm the UAC prompts. (if UAC is turned on). 10. After the installation completes, double-click CITY OF HEROES TEST (EU) in the NCsoft Launcher’s games list to play. |

Ok, thanks to Necotron for helping me get access to US test, its downloading now.
However, still an issue;
Why are the EU servers not on the Live-Training Room transfer list?
Seriously, people, we still exist! This is getting really damn rediculous right about now when the communities are supposed to be 'coming together' and stuff keeps getting screwed up! Eesh.

For Windows PC's it's even easier to install the Main (NA) Test server...
Start -> Run
For 32 bit: "C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Launcher\NCLauncher.exe" /LaunchGame=CohTest
For 64 bit: "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\Launcher\NCLauncher.exe" /LaunchGame=CohTest
And for the (NA) Beta Server replace CohTest with CohBeta
These will start the NCLauncher with the (NA) Test server selected for install, then just click "Install Now" if you need to.

You can now connect to the Training Room if you run City of Heroes Test (EU) via NCsoft Launcher.
Cheers Alpha Wolf, but there's a slight snag. The character copy tool only lists the former US servers, and none of the former EU ones, leaving my Union-based chars entirely stuck. Any chance of a resolution to this, so I can put my Union chars onto the US test client?
Edit: Oops, just read the related thread on the US test section. My bad.
All this things sounds good but character copy tool still unable to transfer characters from Union,Defiant, Vigilant or Zukunft to test server.I send a petition two weeks ago and problem still. ¿When fixed?
We are working on the character copy tool to allow EU players to transfer their characters to Beta and Training Room. I will let you know if I get any updates.
Should we also infer that NA players who have characters on the former EU servers will also be able to transfer those toons to test as well?

How long will the old server be available and can we get a heads up when it is removed? Or will the launcher automatically remove the link when they go down?

Is the EU Test Server going to be an extra test server after the merge, or will it just get junked?
While I can see many advantages to having two boxes for testing. Equally... err, not. Just wondering.
