Test Server access for EU players

I would also be interested in an answer to Rabbit's question. Do I need to uninstall the EU test server and install the US one ?

Yes.. I wanne know too. At the moment we access directly to the EU test server. But both test servers are still active. At one point the eu test server will be dismantled. So do we reinstall then??????? And how..?

I can't even access the EU test server at the moment as I don't know how to set it up with the new launcher.

How to install the European Test Server client - If you have the NCsoft Launcher installed 1. Run NCsoft Launcher shortcut to get the latest update. 2. The NCsoft Launcher will start. 3. Create a copy of the NCsoft Launcher desktop shortcut. 4. Right click on the new shortcut and open the Properties option. 5. In the Target window, add the following flag to the end of the line: [space]/LaunchGame=euCohTest 6. Run the shortcut. 7. The NCsoft Launcher will open, starting a City of Heroes Beta installation. 8. Click Install. 9. If you are on Windows Vista or Windows 7, confirm the UAC prompts. (if UAC is turned on). 10. After the installation completes, double-click CITY OF HEROES TEST (EU) in the NCsoft Launcher’s games list to play. |
Also, remember to add the "EU" before your account name when trying to access the test servers.

Zwilly said ours was to be repurposed for internal use, so expect it to stop working eventually.
I instaleld the NA one last night and got on it with 0 issues, I believe we cannot transfer characters atm, hopefully an infrastructure issue they can readily fix.

Is there any way to do it without redownloading the entire client, like we were able to before? Because I currently want to tear the new launcher up as it made something apparently simple a whole lot more complicated and bothersome.
ETA: Downloading it anyway, but trying to make it use the EU Test Folder (now deleted in rage) resulted in it throwing errors at me saying that there was already one in there, so it couldn't install it.

Yes, what I did was I let it create the folder it wanted to create and start the instalation process. Before it could complete it I exited the launcher and copied the content of the CoH Folder into the one the launcher created for test.
I then relaunched the Launcher and instead of downloading it just did a file verification and was working afterwards.

You can now connect to the Training Room if you run City of Heroes Test (EU) via NCsoft Launcher.
Is there any ETA on when we'll be able to use the Character Copy Tool to transfer characters from Union, Defiant, and the other two EU servers to Test yet please?

Currently i'm downloading the test via the new launcher...it saying City of Heroes (US) now im in the EU but with the merge does it matter? or do i need to put euCoHTest?
Quick FYI, Both EUCoHTest and CoHTest are now identical.
I would hope that Paragon Studios would nudge NCSoft to tweak the launcher files to consider them identical listings.
By dropping the US/EU and merging them into a single listing.
(EUCoH and CoH could also get the same treatment in the launcher.)

I had to have my computer formatted so I had to reinstall everything. With the new launcher I don't know how to set up Test Server access. Also, with the server merge, from what I read on the EU Test Server section, it appears there is no more EU Test Server.
So, can anyone tell me how to set up test server access with the new launcher and to which server I should be connecting?
