    No "More"

    1) PvE content. Like Secret Invasion, Crisis on Infinite Earth, Days of Futures past.

    2) Shake up the universe( see number 1), kill off a character and have the fall out from that. I am thinking Statesman.

    3) More info on Coming Storm

    4) Space zone with more aliens or critters who want to eat us.

Its late this is all I can think of at the moment.
  2. They did it to cut down on tourism.

I was just about to say that. Which again brings up, whats is the difference? Both took over the world and molded it to their vision of what it should be.
  4. The most are mutants. Mutants are more interesting than most other origins and have a almost realistic view about alot of things than the any other. Followed by science and tech. then naturals then finally magic.

Or how Ectsacy of Gold would in-character happily face down Recluse and all three of his lieutenants and the prospect of certain and painful death rather than stop Scirocco at the end of the hammer of the World arc...

Sometimes you gotta just finish the arc and pretend you never started it for in-character continuity. Both of them will be switching from full villain to rogue ASAP.

Interestingly, the Rogue doesn't seem to find these same kinds of snags working with the contacts of Paragon City as much as the Vigilante who deals with the Islanders...

My sentiments exactly. If truth be told how long do you think Weston Philips would last if vigilanties were loose in the Isles?
  6. I have a random question: How would vigilantes (when they go to the Rogue Isles) do missions there? I was thinking some would rather see Hardcase get shot in the face than help him, or the casino get burned down. I have several vigilantes in their late 30's and some of the missions they have would rather kill the contact or help him then shoot the contact. Any ideas on this would work? Or will there be new contacts for vigilante types?

    P.S.

Let me shoot Hardcase in the face.
  7. One more thing, any sign of new female idle stances? It would be cool to see females stand in comic fashion(Mark Silvestri) instead of the current?
  8. I am greatful that I will be upgrading to a new PC next year so it can handle the ultra-graphics

    Just got off work...

    Does this help?
  10. This weekend has been the worst or me, I have either locked up or crashed the computer since this thing began. I have updated my vid drivers and modem, and I am defragged and cleaned out cookies and shut off programs that I do not need. I am stumped. Both Diax and hijack this if this helps

  11. Please, please, please times one billion. let there be a story behind the event. I begging ya please don't throw one at us and go "there you have event, have at it." Feels so empty.
  12. All of these are good ideas. I would like to see female stance that is different from men's.
  13. Note this is a praise and question post not a DOOOOM( do I have enough oooo)thread.

Some of what the game has come out has been neat( not great) but neat add ons' that alot of people have been asking for. Kudos so far on changing the face of the game so far and shaping the game in a new direction. Thus far we have been given coloring powers, wings, some new zones, side switching( Going Rogue), dual Pistol(soon), new outfits and themes, and it has been a welcome change or spice that puts it in competition with current and future super hero MMOs. Which brings up my question is where does it go from here? All the neat "stuff" has been added, and this game has alot of stuff that we have coming out of our ears. Do you think there is more things that can be added "stuff" wise or will the next few issues and events will be more story telling and little stuff?
  14. For me it is a double edged.

On one hand: We don't have many world events and the ones we do have (X-Mas and Valentines) bite major tail bone. The Ritki event remind me of what CoX was when the devs spent more time on story lines than nerfing everything and not fixing the current problems. Issues 1-4 were what brought me to the game with cool back story and continual fillers I loved every minute and could not wait to see what was going to happen next. Like in a REAL comic book. For me the Ritki are the things I miss and I enjoy filling in "why" like they use to do. Plus it is a nice distraction from the boredom of AE missions and 5(?) year old content that so needs to be updated and so many team ups even on the low pop servers.

But the other side it is damn annoying that events like this are just thrown at us with nothing to go on to explain it. Tho as I said I like making up stuff to enjoy the event but I don't want to keep doing it. I like to be entertained by stories being told by the writer of the book(or CoX bible in this case) who say "hey check this out. I got something cool to tell you".

In short like the event and participate when it starts up and enjoy the teams to get the badges. Just wish there was more to it to draw me in to love it, and more events to keep CoX from getting stale and predictable.

Sorry for the mini rant everyone.
  15. You wanna rate (how many years is it now) old content? My dad has newer stories than these and more interesting and don't have to do a TF in order to enjoy it.
  16. Can we see for nostolgia have not only the normal cruisers bombing but also have the motherships show up please.
  17. I have more questions:

The Longbow: The one thing that bothers me is where do they lie legally? I play a villain a lot and when I am on a Mayhem Mission they occasionally say "Stop in the name of Longbow". This bothers me a bit and I get the sense fo "Justice Lords" when it comes to them. Is there a something about them that they are keeping secret and plotting to take over the world through popularity? Also something Maticore said they work in Nerva a place that is above legality, does this mean they can execute whomever without reprecussions? I mean I see this alot at their base, four Longbow vs (Insert single villain). Not very heroic in my book.
  18. I remembered another:

    8)Does Atlantis exist?

    9) Will Ralaruu ever return to Earth Prime to consume it?

    10) Speaking of Earth Prime, is P. Earth the center of all the multiverses the reason it is called prime? Meaning it is the source that fed power energy that allowed mutation and such to different realities like Earth 616 or Earth 1 and 2(DC)?
  19. I have a few questions I would like to throw in:

    1) Mutants. One of the most active ATs out there seems to be welcomed by the general public, yet in the Captain Mako bio he was persecuted. How was he targeted and our heroes aren't? Should there be some contacts who have some fear or apprehention when it comes to mutants or even the general public?

2)I maybe channeling Kratos here but, what happened to the Greek gods? Were they real beings of supernatural power or people who were lucky enough to find the well and gain powers and were immortal for a few centuries til they just faded away? And if that be the case does that mean Statesman's power is temporary as well?

3)Who was the dude talking to Imperious in the last mission and when will he reveal himself?

    4) How does the government feel about the multiple Statesman who show up more eviler than the last? I remember the Justice Lords(cartoon) and certain officials did what they could to protect themselves should a the League go renegade. Do they have the same as well?

    5) What ever happened to the old villains from World War Two? Are they still alive? Have they grown old? Are they still young?

6)How come we never see the Army or any other branch fighting in the RWZ? I get it's Vanguards show, but I am sure other nations should have vested interest in seeing the Ritki either surrender or neutralized.

    7) Why haven't we seen a single superpowered alien who wants to bore us with his speech about conquest and gloat over how powerful and superior he is to us?

I have more but I just drew a blank
  20. The last event was last month that got me real excited. Why? Because it broke the routine. AE missions are either boring or farms or so hard they make it hard to solo. And lets no get on the old mission that are outdated and over done I can sleep in a FrostFire mish and still win. This is a comic book universe, there should never be boring in the universe. DC and Marvel has proven that. World events are cool, but they have to be cool tho. Winter Events? Not so much awsome sauce there.
  21. Old arguement I made a year ago. I felt that we can go from supervillain to putz just that quick with him. If I could find the thread I could show you what many have said about Hardcase
  22. Thanks Zombie Man it helped alot. Cimorea zone (example) was so laggy it was unbearable, now it is not as smooth but better than before. I owe ya a round man. My treat.

    1. Get rid of from the start up registries: Kodak, Yahoo invasive programs, java helpers (update you java manually, now), all the ATI helpers (they don't need to be running), the keyboard helper (unless you really do use all it's media buttons on the fly constantly), messenger, ctmon (unless you're using alternate input devices), acrobat, the two entries with missing files.
