All I know is, my dark/dark/soul stalker cannot solo a pylon, but he is pretty awesome in Dark Astoria

I've got an Elec/FF controller in his early 40's.

Gremlins protected by your shields are quite powerful and unkillable. I use repulsion bomb as an agro grabber when I corner pull while soloing.

Ive added Sands of Mu and Air Superiority to give myself so melee attacks so I can stand with the gremlins and kill with them. I like my concept and will play him to 50 and beyond. He is fun for me. Of course I have always liked unpopular combinations.

I have 2 of the most unpopular corruptors combos still running, Energy/Traps and Dark/ Poison.

After 2 /WM tanks at 50. Inv/WM and FA/WM, I remade my namesake - Phrendon Largo, on the VIP server as a WM/EA scrapper.

I usually just pick up the pipe wrench and hit them with it. It works, with all the stuns.

I selected the fire and ice3 weapons but have yet to even look at the WM options.

SR scrappers get Quickness, so you won't need to take hasten and put it on autofire.

Put Practiced Brawler on Autofire and don't worry about KB either. Sell the KB proc or email it to another toon.

My signature toon - Phrendon Largo, has always wanted to don the Statesman mask. I am so looking forward to this for him.

I remade my original AR/Dev blaster on Exalted when it first opened up and made him Beam Rifle/Devices.

While I do like the new guns and sounds it just doesn't fit the concept of my old blaster character. I should have made a more futuristic looking character and would probably have more fun with it. Perhaps an ex-Clockwork from Praetoria that escaped to Primal Earth to be a hero and eventually take down all the praetorian arch villains.

I never click the CoH icon anymore, just the NCLauncher icon. Then when it comes up I choose CoH, Live Test or Beta, depending on which one I want.

I have it set to auto exit everytime the game launches.

I never have had any problem as described in the OP, and I'm still running Vista Home Edition.

I usually just grab my tank, and taunt the paladin up to the police drones at the north gate to Skyway.

I have one account, probably an F. The character I play the most nowadays makes almost no influence except through drops that I build and sell. His XP is turned off at 27 and he fights in SG mode.

TY. I bought one, tested it in Oppressive Gloom and confirmed it is working now. My build is finally completed. :-)

Is it fixed yet?

As a DA stalker I rarely have issues with end drain, but the recharge debuff is usually what kills me. Yes I have hasten, still it's not enough.

I can't get in either, so its not just you.

I find it sad that they spent development time creating a new system of tracking the up/down status of the servers right from the launcher, with one click, but it is already broke, and has been for sometime.

That was a good thing while it lasted.

Thanks for the advice, but I ended up slotting them on other toons already. I had enough credits to buy 3 Def/ +7.5 Rech for the original toon I wanted 4 on, so I just have to grind for one.

I am still mad at myself, but it was no ones fault but mine.

You think that will work for those Attuned IO's?

Logged in last night to see they updated my credits. 750 points yay. Also saw they had sets of LOTG for sale. Thought I'll do the smart thing and just get the pieces I want. Ended up buying 4 Def/Rech instead of 4 Def/+Rech.

If the problem is somewhere in Chicago, why haven't they rerouted us. Isn't that the nature of the WWW? There are alternate routes to a server in Texas, isn't there?

NE Ohio here. Can't connect to DB Server. Was able to once, about 10AM. Then when I tried to zone from Cap Au Diable to Grandville, it never completed. Thought maybe it was just the one server, so I restarted and tried a different server and keep getting cant connect to DB server.

There is also a portal on the red side if you ever need to get there with a villain or rogue. Its in the SE corner of Cap au Diable.

I just want to reiterate why I was upset. Clarify it.

I assumed when Freedom went live, that those of us who remained subscribed were being given a way to get some merits quickly by running this easy arc. Why would I assume that? Because thats the way it was published.

Did I abuse it? No. Not at all. I didnt think it was wrong. I thought it was a thank you. Thank you for remaining a paying customer. Heres a new series of arcs written just for you with a special prize at the end that you can trade it for neat stuff so you dont have to grind so much. Because you have done enough grinding, loyal customer.

So after this latest patch I log in. Grab an old level 50 defender that i hadnt played in ages, and went and tried SSA2 with him. Never ran tips before, never changed alignments before, always been a hero. Since like, issue 4, when I created him.

Finish the arc, and then I see I have to reaffirm I am a hero, to get this special prize that I thought I was given easy access to as a thank you. I guess I assumed wrong. The devs still want me to grind. Thanks for telling me how you really feel. Actions speak louder than words.

I also think its stupid. For a long time hero character, that can get into Fort Trident, to have to reaffirm he is a hero to get a hero merit from an SSA arc which is meant to save old heros. Saving Numina is not a good reaffirmation?

Also, how is someone under lvl 20 supposed to do this? Tips dont fall, and the first SSA is given in Skyway to anyone over lvl 10.

For a soloing strategy, I have found that for characters that do not have a ton of AOE, setting missions to +2/1, no bosses was the best experience-wise. Fighting lieutenants that con red to you should up xp gain. Then do radio or newspaper missions, or even better, tips missions. Collect those hero merits, you can buy a lot of neat stuff with them.

You could always take weave.
