Am looking at the market right now and it is working fine. If you typed a persistent statement of basilisk gaze and performed the search, it would get you nothing since the name is Basilisk's Gaze. Allow the auto fill and tab function to o the heavy lifting.
Typing Basil gets me "Basilisk's" hit tab then a space and Gaze will auto fill...hit enter and click the for sale radio button...done. -

Honestly, I would start at the market in game. Go through each of the types (ranged attack, melee, heal, etc), click a recipe in a set and mouse over it for the set bonuses it gives. Obviously not the most enjoyable way to spend game time, but once you start to see how the sets work, most are repetitive and fairly intuitive once you dive into it.

Barring going to Praetoria the low-tech workaround I've come up with is to just go to the less crowded locations (such as St. Martial or Kings Row). Basically I can't remember the last time I ever had problems in those places on Virtue at least.

This post brought it to my attention.....and I would also like to express extreme disappointment on the insanely small window for this. Missing out on this because of last minute work related or real life situations despite any planning is just plain wrong.
I don't think celebrating 7 years of success by running an event so small that many of your most loyal players *may* have a chance of missing is just plain baffling. Never mind all those who might want to play a few alts during it.

Delete a couple of the toons you have inf maxed on as banks......cause you can and won't really notice it gone.

Took better than 20 minutes to get to this post this morning while I was doing some other work related stuff. On my work laptop Win7 IE8 and FF4, java and flash are current.
Again, nothing cityofheroes related would load for me for that period, then suddenly it acts like nothing was ever wrong, loading fast. -
I might extend that to all of the cityofheroes.com domain. When I am having issues loading the forums I am also unable to load anything in their website.
This is from 2 Different PCs with Win7 and does not seem to matter if I use Firefox 3.xx or 4 or IE 8 or for kicks Aurora
I am obviously not having an issue right now, but that changes throughout the day. -

I was just mucking around with this and for days I have not been able to get to www.cityofheroes.com or boards.cityofheroes.com/
so I tried cityofvillains and it worked for both of those immediately. However, once there, Any sub links I clicked just wouldn't load.
I agree 100% it is a hosting issue. The problem is not ALL the time and seems to fluctuate in severity. I am having absolutely no issues getting to anything else on the web...at least those I frequent.
Whom ever is the NCNC web host needs to fix their house or be dropped. -
Maybe the hotfix is to correct the clocks in Paragon Studios.

If you Oro'd posi, it was the old TF and won't award WST lewts......that being said, the actualy WST (Posi 1) is not giving Notices, only double merits (2x11).

The entire market feels like it has slowed significantly in activity. Prices have appeared stalled or falling. Only idea is most are focusing on incarnate trials.
I am sure the market will resume it's normal level of stupid once people catch up on Incarning up their alts. -
