I wish I could play incarnate trials right now...I want to see if you an use knockback to move civilians out of AoE range.
-
GG we need every (except the zombies) NPC group you can render sexyfied stat!
-
Does that mean the value of merits would go up?
-
Didn't finish reading but if I was to change time bomb I would rename it smart bomb and if 8 valid targets are in range it would blow up (unless timer ran out then boom anyways).
-
Cause this spaceship was built from several different off brand Lego sets and none of them quiet match up like they should. Every part of this game infrastructure seems to be a balancing act with interconnections that don't seem logical.

Quote:I think we really do need to have blasters reballanced against the current damage dealers. I think a blaster should be doing 50% more damage then an equally developed scrapper (or brute).Bingo, with incarnate powers all the melee classes had their most glaring weakness negated, the ability to damage things far away and with the new batch of alphas a way to increase their survivability even more. As a blaster I still have all the exact same downsides as I did before incarnates and am actually finding my one strength, ranged damage, to be getting weaker and weaker as the trials progress, and my weaknesses to be getting worse and worse.

Quote:Wanted to reply in a PM but I'm not VIP so sorry for the thread purity people who sometimes rise up.Probably the thing that annoyed me the most about XP was the wizards I could never find the off switch for that kept offering to "clean up my desktop" :/
By the way, set up another account for my mom to use on my computer a while back, and it won't let her delete desktop shortcuts to my games because of "insufficient" permission - is there a way around that, (I've set UAC to never notify) or is it a permanent feature of "User Access Censorship"?
Anyways what you'll want to do is move your shortcuts out of "all users" desktop and into your accounts desktop. -
I get that "we have to work together" happens a bit in comics...but we've more then covered that ground by now. It's getting to the point villains should start waiting for up front payouts before assisting heroes more.
"It's in eveyrones best interest to work together on this."
"Yeah...you know I think we could handle this without you capes...so you go ahead and go first and if you all die we'll clean up."
"The whole of our reality is at stake here!"
"The whole of my financial well being is as well."
"...I'v er....well I have some inf..salvage..."
"keep going"
*sigh* "We've saved up some Empyrean Merits..." -
Tacky is buying reusable diapers when they've already said they aren't washing poo bags and in fact already have several boxes of disposables to get started on because not everyone is a god damn hippy and you can't ******* guilt trip me into using them
-
I wonder if it could be tweaked so the summoned minions use a minion version of GM code...
-
I'm a bit welmed that people still want to discuss this.

If the civilians can take a few hits from our godlings a handful of them pelting rocks might hurt a bit.

Sample size of data seems too small to draw conclusive information.

The last person to pull that didn't even ask the developers.

Quote:Jack never understood the players.Well he's wrong there, the players didn't hate the idea of bases, they hated the STUPIDLY CLUNKY INTERFACE YOU HAVE TO BUILD THEM WITH!
Also dear old Jack was the one that went, "what, people use the bases for roleplay purposes and not PvP?" like it was some sort of shock of the century to him. -
No free turkey head costume part...such a slap in the face...

Red light zone...requires additional monthly cost to sue and must provide proof of age...
Quote:Oh yeah...I always forget about those. Those practically ARE potions! If the devs looked at the lists of empowerments available from base worktables, and just sold them directly as inexpensive boosts, they'd be handy if the price was right. Convenient, too, to not have to find the salvage or a base empowerment worktable to craft at.
How about selling SO quality enhancements that aren't level locked (always work as at level with character like the store IOs).
At low levels they would be better then IOs but at mid to high levels weaker.
They would be account bound and market only.
It'd be a nice filler for people who would use market but avoid the IO system. -

Quote:I always thought the issue with the raids wasn't as much they weren't aware of the player base but that they forgot they were still standing because they tried to not be a copypasta MMO. The players wanted something to do at max level so they put in game play mechanics from other popular games that have it. Maybe forgetting what makes you better for your players is the same as forgetting who your players are though.Agreed. I think the thing that bothered me the most about the incarnate system is that when it was released, the Devs seemed honestly suprised that there was interest in a solo path. It showed a shocking disconnect with the playerbase.
What I am appreciative the most on this new solo path, is I can street sweep in the incarnate zone while que'd up in the turnstyle and if no trial actually starts, I won't be frustrated that I haven't made any progress at all.
I really hope the coming storm has the same options from the start without having to wait 14 months before a solo path to enjoy the content is released.
