I've been getting your drops. I've seen about a dozen shards in the last week, between soloing assorted missions and a Kahn TF. (Kahn was worth about 4 shards on its own)

Good enough that I've dragged my fiancée into the game

I'm in as of last Monday
...I've really been slacking on day jobs. -
Quote:A clever tweak might detect the snake body and do a tail swipe instead...but that would be very far fetched, and involve lots of new animation programming for dozens of powers. That was the reason for why there's no Talsorian Hammer (now renamed Vanguard). Now, ignoring the fact that that description also makes the Vanguard Bow not work (flexible force field bow arms?), there could still be a Vanguard mace - after all, the Redding Rifle isn't made out of force fields.
More options for Mace would be great though - a few Roman-themed ones added to the badge that unlocks the Swords, Axes and Shields would be great, and I'm sure other things could be added. Mace is probably the set with the leats variation in it.
Kilts with Monster legs can't be done because of how the categories work. To have them, they'd have to add a "Monstrous Legs with Kilts/Shorts" category. Possible, but probably very low priority, if it's even on the list.
The Snake lower body won't happen. When shields were introduced, some gloves had horrible clipping issues. When someone asked if they could just remove the offending gloves for Shield users, BAB said that there was no tech to limit costume options based on power picks. What does this have to do with Snake bodies? Martial Arts, Kick (from the fighting pool), and Brawl (when using Claws, Thorns, or a Weapon/Shield combo) all require legs, as do a lot of other animations. -

Okay, looking these up:
Ragnarok - +Recovery, +Fire/Cold Res, +Accuracy, +Recharge, +Psi Def
Hecatomb - +Recovery, +Fire/Cold Res, +Accuracy, +Recharge, +Toxic Res
Apocalypse - +Regeneration, +Health, +Damage, +Recharge, +Psi Def
Armageddon - +Recovery, +Fire/Cold Res, +Accuracy, +Recharge, +Toxic Res
Fortunata Hypnosis - +Recovery, +Fire/Cold Res, +Accuracy, +Recharge, +Toxic Res
Unbreakable Constraint - +Recovery, +Fire/Cold Res, +Accuracy, +Recharge, +Toxic Res
Gravitational Anchor - +Recovery, +Fire/Cold Res, +Accuracy, +Recharge, +Toxic Res
Absolute Amazement - +Recovery, +Fire/Cold Res, +Accuracy, +Recharge, +Toxic Res
In that case, he could split Apocalypse into a set of 2 (2x +Regeneration) and a set of 4 (1x +Health) in different powers. These wouldn't overlap with any other bonuses. It would also be possible to pick up the 6th piece of Apocalypse to either get the +Damage, or another +Health boost.
At that point, two of the other sets would still be going to waste. -

I've had the same experience in a Circle of Thorns crystal cage. One theory is the effect which is preventing a power from being used (Teleport, Ouroboros Portal) may also be inhibiting the slotting of an Alpha Enhancement.
Some other points to test would be in the no-teleport zone in Pocket D, a PvP zone (where some powers are shut down), and the power suppression fields found in Praetorian Auction Houses and the Architect buildings. -
On Monday, I turned into a Rikti Monkey while running this mission.
Fortunately, this still worked.... -
It's been a while since I've been on an STF, but...
First mission:
-Blow up the pipes, beat up Arbiter Sands, mission complete. There aren't any particular complications here.
Second mission:
-Beat up a few AVs, find the exit (or Ouro portal out), and you're done. The AV fights aren't anything all that special.
Third mission:
-Follow your team to the correct door and click on it.
-Usually someone stealths their way to the end room, and then teleports the rest of the team.
-Beat up the CoT around the outside of the room
-Beat up the Thorn Tree Vines - QUICKLY. Avoid being seen by the Thorn Tree if you're particularly squishy and/or vulnerable to slows and immobilizes.
-Beat up the Thorn Tree itself
-Have someone reasonably tough grab the glowie (grants a temp power needed on the next mission)
Fourth mission:
-Beat up the Patron's Sidekicks (Barracuda, Ice Mistral, Silver Mantis, Wretch)
-Have the person with the temp spam it on Dr. Aeon
-WATCH OUT FOR THE CLONES
-Finish beating up Dr. Aeon
Fifth Mission:
-Clear the big platform
-Pull an AV. Don't be surprised if you get 2-4 anyway.
-For Ghost Widow, have someone taunt her. The rest of the team should stay away from the taunter to avoid her cones.
-For Mako, have some +ToHit buff (big yellows, stacked Tactics, etc)
-Black Scorpion and Scirocco aren't particularly special fights
-Lord Recluse spawns. The tank will need to taunt him quickly and will require lots of support...and a defense of about 75%.
-Blow up the towers while Lord Recluse is being taunted
-Don't let the engineers rebuild the towers
-Beat up Recluse when the towers are down
-The Arachnos Flyer is also there, between the patrons and Lord Recluse's platform, and counts for the badge if destroyed. It respawns every 20 (iirc) minutes. It can be avoided/ignored. -

Quote:You can turn off the biggest of the changes in the Arena, IIRC.Well, I just found out, after 3 years offline, that the DEVS wrecked PvP in every way, shape and form. I'm not sure what I am going to do. I guess I will have to get that program and build my own ****. Hopefully I can get my 15$ worth by tooling around for 30 days, but NCsoft won't be getting any more of my money.
That said, if you want to perma-mez or get your resistance over 50% in a PvP zone on a controller now...well, that just doesn't really happen in a PVP setting. -
Try a Secure Plot (selected by clicking on the "Secure" tab, beside the "Hidden" tab, IIRC)
There isn't a way to expand an existing room, unfortunately. If you want to keep your particular decoration pattern, you either need to leave it in the smaller room, or else rebuild it by buying/moving everything all over again to a new location.
You can sell a room and buy a new one - but that will leave you with an empty room. Even the texture and lighting schemes will need to be redone.
You can also sell your existing energy thingy and build a new one in the new room, or drag the existing energy thingy to the new room. -
Quote:That's quite possibly true.Or mouseslip, like when I drug an Obliteration worth 30 million to the market window, but accidently let go while my pointer is on another player's toon. I see a local tell: "Thank You!!!". I told him I thought I'd accidently gave him an IO I wanted to keep. Long Pause, then: "I don't have it..." and he runs out.
Merry Christmas, Jerk
He may have already sold it. -
Hmm, that's not right. The machine should be producing Dalekanium chips. Maybe I need to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow....

Quote:Fair enough, but given a team where the RttC is the only taunt, it at least has a long enough duration that some sort of taunt will be in play at any given moment.RttC is the worst taunt aura in the game. I don't think you can necessarily depend on it to make sure everyone it hits is actually taunted to the caster.
That said, looking at it and comparing it to other auras, yeah...that's a very weak taunt indeed (at less than 10% duration as compared to other auras). -
Baker (Specifically Tom)'s great, but I lean more Davison/Tennant.
Also,

Quote:Another thing you might look into is slotting invention sets that grant +END (Pets: Unquestioning Loyalty, Commanding Presence; Ranged: Entropic Chaos, Decimation; Defense: Gift of the Ancients; Resistance: Impervium Armor; Holds: Ghost Widow's Embrace, Gladiator's Net) and earning Accolades (if you haven't already) that grant +END. That not only gives you a few more points to burn through, but also increases your recovery, since recovery is based on a percentage of total endurance.I dont have the armor from leviathan mastery.
So many choices so few powers you can take
I may drop bonfire though, we'll see. I already want to move some slots around from my i19 spec. Working on buffing end still.
If you're not stuck on your Patron pool, you could also look into Soul Mastery for Dark Consumption (+End from your enemies power) -

Quote:Have you tried going to Keybinds in the option menu, clicking on one of the commands you're not really using for anything (or a secondary of something you may be using) and then pressing that mouse button to see if it's recognized?Quick question, and I assume the answer's "no" here.
I have a G500 mouse. The side has three buttons - in a "-_-" configuration. The left and right map to button 4 and 5 just fine, that bottom button though doesn't seem to react to any mapping at all (and the software's "eh" with win7x64 and COH.)
Has anyone had any luck mapping this?
(FWIW, I went down what I know to work, just /bind button# "local #" with the # being 4, 5, 6, etc. all the way to 0 (and 10) - nothing responded on that button.)
Then you can /bindsavefile [path]\[filename.txt] to look at how that particular thing was bound.
