1 - AE farm to L23. Yes it's lame, but I wanted to get playing and I have guys I'm playing for real on another server.

Nothing wrong with that at all IMHO...

    [/ QUOTE ]

lol definitely nothing wrong with that.

I think you may have to high of hopes for Going Rogue. I really doubt it will allow you to make a full transition to the other side but will instead place you in an alternate version with limiations ... but what do I know? I haven't seen anything to say one way or the other, I'm just keep my expectations low.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I agree... I don't think anyone should get their hopes up too much at this point until more details are released.

I tend to take a beating on my elec/shield brute who is built with similar numbers so I took darkest night. It helps a bit.

Don't apologize, people, for crafting commons. People need 'em, people buy 'em at higher than you list for; you're doing everyone a favor. (I list for just under 200K and often sell at 250K or 300K each, for level 35-40s. I used to list just under 150K, and people would buy at 200K, 250 or 300K. Inf falls from the heavens.)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Definitely! And I tell ya what...I have 3 more toons going for the entire suite of crafting badges this month. I will list each and every one of their crafted common IOs for 25 INF.

(some ranges and types don't move or are overstocked and I'll just delete those.)
  6. Soooo many good combos you can put together.
Definitely try as many as you can.
    I love multi-boxing!

    ...3 alts on 2 accounts...

    [/ QUOTE ]
Ahh, that will certainly speed things up. I'd have to craft, drop em in base, log out, etc etc etc. I can see how your method can be a great way to get some relatively risk-free inf rolling in, assuming you can deal with the time factor (which it seems like you have!)

I accidentally bought a second account (Some codes can apply to your account, some can't...WTF?? You'd think they'd make it pretty crystal clear which are which!) so I have some overlap time. I was gonna play around with dual-boxing and if it makes marketeering that much more ebil, I may just end up keeping both accts active...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Multi-boxing is very good for optimizing maximum sales and shifting salvage around as you look to craft IOs from the spread that you've just discovered.

When I have my three main V/H marketeers on and co-located, I essentially have a global marketing account that holds ~175 salvage, ~70 recipes and ~60 transaction slots.

I will say that it can be a supreme PITA when trying to balance your books though.

    Because they're lazy.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes...and I'm also convinced that waaaaay too many people have no idea that you can buy common recipes at the Universities.

    [/ QUOTE ]

For roughly 4 times the cost. The cost:resale ratio is 4 for L45/50, 5.3 for L30-40 and 8 for L25-. The price on the market is generally only slightly above the resale value to a vendor.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I'm well aware of that.

I keep no less than 16 toons chained to the market...both sides...and I often see spikes well above cost that appear to have lasted an entire day...without question, at least, an entire 3-4 hour play session.
  9. I only craft in stacks of five these days.

Waaay too many market toons now to manage stacks of ten and it's cost me valuable time which has resulted in quite a few missed opportunities. Missed for maximum profit margins, that is.

Once I consolidate to three main marketeers then I'll go with stacks of 10 again for non-purples.

  11. Observed unlikely events can a bit perplexing. One is waaaaaay more likely to get 3 of a kind purples (attribute-wise, that is) than to even get dealt a purple to begin with.

Is there enough endurance recovery from Quick Recovery under Willpower to bypass getting Stamina?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, but it may mean that you'll need to keep your global +recharge lower than you'd like and/or spend more INF/earn more merits than you'd like in order to obtain a Miracle(u) or Numina(u).
  13. [ QUOTE ]
    I just checked on those rech/res IO's.

They're no longer 7 million to buy and craft, 50 million to sell.

they're THREE million to buy and craft, FORTY million to sell.

So you actually spend more on the Wents fee than you do crafting the thing, on an eight-digit sell price.

Wow. The customer is not always right.

Nethershock, your idea is what first popped into my mind. LOL Almost all 4 of those bonuses I thought about honing in on,and I figured, why not go for defense. And Illicity you DO have a good point. Seems I should have a good overall view of what I'm trying to get the most of out of my guy.

Hey Galactic, he's an Energy/Energy blaster, lvl 50, and I may have just under 100 million influence out of all my heroes. And although it almost goes against my "anti-number crunching, heroes just wanna have fun" philosophy lol, I'm at the point now where its getting interesting to see what my guy could become.

Also, I DO have a respecc, on either builds for this guy, I'm lookin to just start from scratch.

    [/ QUOTE ]

If you decide to solo more than team at level 47+ then consider +Rech bonuses for Energy/Energy. Besides DPS, you will also have a greater stun magnitude and chance to KB per fight.

Both, in effect, also function as +DEF(all).

You do realize that 5% chance is the base chance Scrapper attacks have to crit right? I was amazed the other day when I was fighting a Roman Boss in the ITF and I had 5 crits in a row on my DM/SR. That was rolling that little 5% chance 5 times in a row.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm in agreement with your general point about the proc, but you should realize your chance to crit is higher than 5% on bosses and potentially higher still if you use one of the enhanced-crit attacks (like Eagle's Claw).

    [/ QUOTE ]

Fair enough on the boss thing and I was using a DM so as far as I know the set doesnt have a higher Crit attack like Eagle/HeadSplitter/Soaring Dragon/Eviscerate.

For 1 slot, which plenty of builds can spare, I find this to be a good investment IF you can put it into something you use often anyway. If you slot in into a blast with a long recharge or one you dont use often, the slot would be less of a benefit.

The Gaussains chance for BU proc in Aim for my Defenders is highly noticeable since most of my Defenders debuff damage resistance somehow. The Decimation in Fire Blast on my Fire/Blaster is great since held I can spam Fire Blast. Last night in RV I was fighting an Elec/Therm Corruptor who drained all my end(good fights btw Sapper?) and with them hitting me with elec attacks once at zero I would only have end for a split second before they would keep tryin to bottom me out. For the last 15 seconds of the fight I as jumping around clicking Fire Blast(no blues) since it cost low end. The proc fired off on the first Fire Blast and the second came packing more of a punch followed by another to end the fight.

I had one for sale blueside for 80m (crafted), then I took it down by accident because I was trying to link it for an SG mate in chat, then I resold it lamenting the listing fee loss (4m) for 30 mil on an 11 inf listing :/

    I went mostly for +HP, +regen, and +recharge on my SS/WP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I went this route as well (on a 50 SS/WP)

Darkest Night, Gloom, Dark Obliteration and RttC all provide to hit debuffs at about 32% vs single target (a little less against mobs).

My build is more resistance oriented w/MoB, SoW, High Pain Tolerance and Darkest Night for about a 79% resist to S/L, 60%+ for Psi and about 40% for everything else.

I also made sure I picked up Demonic Aura... at that point; most everything gets absorbed for a short while.

At minimal RttC bonus (+Health and Fast Healing); +775% Regen is possible utilizing 4double slottings of Pounding Slugfest and 4 double slottings of Numina and a double slot of Devastation on Gloom.

Max HP is almost at 145%; expanding Numina into 3 slottings; 2 slotting Efficiency Adapter and 3 slotting LotG in any Def powers that I do have

[Why +recharge? To spam your primary and patron attacks, Rage and Fury. I went the Force Feedback route in this and with the way I have them slotted I am at top speed about 50% of the time... I also grabbed Force of Nature to try and ensure that my DPS overrides EB/AV regen rates (and it gives a nice +Recovery to cover the uppage in END use due to speed increases)

    [/ QUOTE ]

At first I planned for +melee DEF and +HP, but FS recharging at 9.9 secs (as planned) was intolerable. So I dialed down the +melee DEF...added some more +HP and added quite a bit of +Rech. You guys convinced me.

FS is now @ 6.3 and my HP is 143% (w/o accolades).
As stated +Regen 1.) is baked into a lot of +HP bonused sets, and 2.) also increases as HP increases.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
That is certainly not the norm Posi.

I typically use a fire/kin to defeat a scrapper (lower resists) and I average about 1 recipe every 80 kills. I THINK I have gone that long before without getting a drop, but I have also received three recipes in the span of 15 minutes before (get one, switch to other character and get one, then switch back and get another.)

Keep at it, it should even out.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm right at 1 in 80 as well (per rough estimates).

There is a significant difference between Silver and Gold.
This wiki page (including the links for the Silver and Gold class tables at the faaar bottom) will help you.

In the wiki, the Silver Class table does NOT include the Pool B recipes at this time...only the Pool A (rare).
The Gold Class link takes you to the Rare Random Recipe page b/c the two are equal.

Which Class is better to roll in is subjective based upon wants, needs and how efficiently you can generate tickets.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've seen some fairly good posts that say if you roll bronze enough you are better off then rolling silver due to the cost/ % chance of a Pool A recipe.

    [/ QUOTE ]

On average, yes, it appears that's the case these days.

I'd have to slice the data myself to be more certain, but that hasn't stopped me from rolling exclusively Bronze for the last 10-14 days.

I heard Demons have a lower droprate than other enemies because of the "demon farm". Is this true? Is there any other groups that have a decreased drop rate?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Unless some credible folk can produce data...

To date, I've seen no data that proves this on any map...whether to the plus or minus side.
Now, back in the fall of 2007, there was this BP map...
