I wouldn't rely so much on the FF procs, I'd get your global recharge to at least 60%.

Hi all,
I'm trying to build a human-only PB to basically blast and scrap it out. My question is, which of the AoEs from Human are worth it?
Any builds would be welcome too so I could have a basis.

The spines/SR (softcapped of course) should be more survivable but personally I'd only make a spines toon with a second damage aura like spines/dark or spines/fire.

Why did you skip Frost and didn't maximize the damage on Frozen Aura? They're your best AoE attacks....
BTW I only bother with Weave on /DA if I'm actively working towards melee defense via set bonuses. With your build i wouldn't take it. -
PBU+Fallout+EM Pulse+Nuke = awesomesauce. Throw a Vengeance in the middle of this (before the nuke of course) and your team will be invincible.

Here you go. I went a little overboard... 47.8 melee, 50.9 ranged, 46.9 AoE
but I did this quick. You could probably 4-slot your first 2 toggles mixing R.Fortune and Gift of the Ancients and use the remaining 4 slots for something else like Laser beam eyes or conserve power.

Here's a tip for you Turbo, I have actually gotten booted from teams while playing defenders because the blasters felt I was doing too much damage. They didn't like the idea of a 'support' type who could defeat enemies as well as they could. And that's using a secondary most people consider gimped due to it being lethal damage.

You really DO have the worst PuG histories as somebody pointed out earlier -
I love psi too, since you have a 50 dark/psi you know what to expect from the set. Rad/psi soloes fairly well, only had problems with robots and such.
Rad/sonic is a monster that can solo GMs plus you have soft controls like a sleep and a knockback cone. But your only real AoE damage will be Howl, which is great on teams because it debuffs resistance of all mobs it so your teammates can rip them apart. Plus it has Amplify (Aim) which Psi lacks. -
Well in PVP your defense is gonna get nerfed by DR anyways....
Elec is the current FOTM because Thunderstrike, although it has only a 50% chance to crit from hide, it crits for double damage unlike total focus (and ET which doesn't crit for damage at all) -
Well Peter despite the numbers, I never felt that the drain from OG makes a real difference in practice, and I've tanked on my scrapper on a lot of occasions (carnie missions, invul tanker getting shredded, so I take point, radiation robots mission debuffing the ice tanker's defense, I take point, etc). Even maintaining 5+ enemies in my field I never noticed it to be detrimental to my toon.
Anyhow, for a tanker, I'd only get OG to protect the squishies and be a better tanktroller because minions are usually lulzy for a tanker (except sappers and such, but even then DA gets end drain protection). -

Good call, I could drop 3 slots from tactics (and use HOs on it), drop assault and get aid other. I want empty clips because it's a cone to taunt enemies and make my pets attack. I know I could take provoke but I want my dual pistols showing

I'd get Oppressive Gloom, some minions are dangerous for the team (well a lot of minions can be dangerous to squishies) and keep them wandering is good mitigation and adds to your tanktrolling. Plus OG doesn't noticeably drain your health (if my scrapper can run it without noticing your tanker will too) and is good to go with the normal slot (1 acc or 1 acc/mez HO is enough, I like to slot 2 absolute amazements for the recovery).
EDIT: OG, unlike Cof, has normal accuracy. Plus I don't think OG will help you a lot solo since tankers can withstand a lot of damage, I meant for you to take it to help the team. -
Well Jebe I have +maxend on the impervium armors besides the uniques. I'm looking for more sturdiness and some AoE (via shadow maul which I didn't have for more than 1 year).
I'm looking for recovery, recharge and some positional defense basically. -

I'm thinking about respec'ing my 50 DM/DA scrapper (the previous build had only tough, no defenses - touch of fear instead of shadow maul and t.tentacles instead of weave).

I never felt the need for more than 2 KB IOs, since I'm not getting all the aggro and things are missing me. Hell, I took my em/nin to 50 with one KB IO with no issues whatsoever and only added another because in i12 I PVP'ed in Siren's and RV and Knockout Blow from Tankers (mag 7ish) was knocking me around, that was the only reason I added the second one.

Well ask yourself if having double the heal you get now is worth it. I don't think it's worth slotting for heal, so I use only 4 slots (on IOs) to almost maximize endmod and cap recharge - this is for level 50, you can add an extra recharge io if you're hurting for rech at your level:
