    Maybe the NA updater got fixed? Because it's like the second thing (copying only the piggs) I tried and it would always stop at some file fixing with 199374 hours to go.
  2. Glad to help. You're right, Tough/Weave should make this easier, I just never take this pool on my Stalkers lol. My EM/Nin isn't softcapped to AoE, probably because of that
  3. Made a DP toon (returned after open beta and don't have GR preordered), went thru the tutorial okay in T. Room 2, when I tried to zone to Atlas I got the "No mapServer connection. Try again." message. When trying to log the toon again (char selection screen said he was in Atlas Park) got the same message.

    This tech is seriously messed up.

    I have a farmer/general play build planned for my 28 (or 30? been toying with the Demon Summoning thing) fm/sd.

    85% rech, capped melee/ranged, aoe 34.5%, 3.07 recovery and 212% regen (1790 hp before accos), but Tough is slotted with only a Steadfast unique. Didn't worry about attack chains because she has FS, Cremate, Incinerate and GFS, besides Fire Blast. Maybe losing some rech would be the way to make it better. I just love the build I made because Hasten only has an 8 sec downtime, but I'll see what I can get from your build to improve mine

    It seems that you should pick only 5 powers from your primary to make a capped m/r/aoe fm/sd, or else you will be starving for slots, and I took 6 (Cremate).

    My GFS has the same slotting but th build uses mostly lvl 35 IOs to be exemplar friendly.

    In my 26 months it's been always like that at the times I log in:

    1) Freedom
    2) Virtue
    3) Justice or Infinity

    Redside is way more populated on Freedom IME.

    Frosticus (I think it was him) once posted that he saw numbers for 2009 or something and rest of the servers had about the population of Freedom+Virtue combined.

    Freedom is not all about farming, I put together a PuG Moonfire TF in 10 minutes the other day and I just returned to the game. Would be even faster for popular TFs (the ones that get you the TF Commander badge and ITF/LGTF/STF).

    Yes, they're great on solo and teams (although powers like Trip Mine become kinda useless in fast moving teams, which is basically almost any team in Freedom at least). But solo it's very hit-or-miss, you have to pay a lot of attention, little margin for errors. You can decimate a pink spawn and a little carelessness in a yellow spawn may get you killed fast.

    My trapper is Fire Blast, I believe it's the best for all the damage output and Rain of Fire scourging and its synergy with Caltrops. I use shift+lclick for Caltrops then ctrl+lclick for RoF after I lay down my traps, then its Fire Ball, Fire Breath, etc.
  7. Man Focus is so late, are you never exemplaring?

    Tried a build, I suck at AoE def. It's at 42.5%, other are capped, HP is capped with accos too, 65% rech, but I didn't gimp Shockwave and put the -res proc in Slash . I don't think it's more expensive than your build.

  11. Since you're a Tanker and you're not spamming attacks like scraps and brutes, you should've taken Death Shroud at level 2 - it's your taunt aura and does more damage than your other attacks over time as C_M_A said.

    Oh just saw you asking for DS slotting: if you're short on slots, 2 acc/dam/end and 2 dam/end (from multistrike and scirocco sets - acc is not very high in this setup, but even with 10% global acc after you IO the toon you'll be fine). If you have 6 slots, 6 multistrikes for added melee def and good damage, acc and end values.

    Cloak of Fear sucks, really. VERY low base acc, high end cost, mag 2 fear - unless you have slots to spare (like 6 - you need a lot of acc and end reduction) it's hard to make it useful, especially since Dark Armor already in end-intensive.

  13. I'm a Brazilian player.

    There are lots of Brazilians who play (but most are on Freedom) and I could team with them all day if I wanted or get free PLs (but I almost never PL my toons). They are very good players (the vet ones at least) and one of them even has a purpled out human Warshade who can farm fast at +4/x8 with bosses (I've seen it).

    The problem is that most don't speak/write English so mixed teams usually doen't end up very well.

    And we have normal-priced gamecards here via a Brazilian web store, so very easy to find/buy in 30 seconds (although I pay via credit card in the ncsofct website). It's strange you guys don't get normal-priced timecards.

    And we don't care if advertisement gives a **** about us

My planned build for fm/sd/blaze (for farming and normal teaming without spending billions so recharge is important). has capped melee and ranged at 43.5% (AoE is just 34.5% but i don't care about AoE unless I'm /SR because it's so easy to cap everything with SR and still keep high recharge). I could cap ranged losing some recharge, dunno if it's worth the tradeoff for 1.5% extra ranged def.

I'm still 'learning' regen, never played one, just started an Elec/Regen, but he's a Stalker because I have 2 leveling scrappers and I don't want to level another one, given the little time I have to play lately. Hence the 'weird' Dull Pain slotting, it will cap my hp anyway. Plus I hated ELM on my 50 brute and on Stalker it looks better, with L. Rod not unhiding you making it possible to crit after w/ TS or A. Strike (another good thing for Stalker ELM, a burst high dmg attack).

    So here they go:

    Defs 28.3% melee / 25.8% ranged / aoe sucks at 13.3% (with Hide suppressed of course)

    Regen 33.5 hp/sec (605%) / recov 2.66/s before accos

    I'm not too happy with the recharge, if I could get any help I'd be immensely grateful. The red market is so screwed up I can't say I'll be able to afford purples so this build has none (I may go for Shadow Meld which would have the same slotting as MoG if I'm happy without Ball Lighting but I want an AoE build for now):

  17. I tried to make a more 'AOEish' build using fireball but I ended up failing in defense (still learning regen, I'll come here soon for help on my Elec/Regen Stalker - yes Stalker lol).

  18. Maybe you have a proc slotted in Cremate or something that skews the numbers. My Mid's shows Cremate doing 137.9 damage and Incinerate 172 damage, both with nothing slotted.

    Numbers are a bit lower on CoData but I think my Mid's is set up for average damage counting the DoT damage. Anyway, on City of Data Incinerate comes out on top damage wise too.

    Kick stinks. It does less damage than Scorch.

    Breath of Fire is skipped my most Fire Melee users. I find it worse than Shadow Maul because it's only a 30 degree cone. The range is good but the power has a high end cost, high recharge, long cast time and does little more damage than Fire Sword.

    Nice to know about Mender Lazarus for other toons

    Om my fm/sd I got Silver Bullet on a Moonfire TF (8 people team so lotts of wolves) and finished it 24 vampyri away from the badge. I just killed in Striga because I couldn't start the arcs Deacon mentioned.

    L. Reflexes just needs a Run IO, no need for an expensive Microfilament HO. It's a passive, costs no end, and you'll get a better run bonus from the Run IO.
  21. Yeah this is getting annoying... I am playing now but had to run the game 5 times and quit all 5 at the login screen. The 6th time it ran fine fullscreen.

    Windowed mode worked fine btw (ran at 1600x990 or something like that), I just don't like the task bar and the top bar when I maximize the window, but oh well, gues I'll have to use that because running the game 5, 6 times to get it to work properly is not very cool.

Well the 'slow' feeling gets better imo (get chain induction) but I have a 50 partially IO'ed ELM/Stone Brute who, even out of granite (meaning no penalties) and high fury, does pitiful ST damage by my standards. I stopped playing him, when I get back to my 50s (since I'm on a lowbie phase now, just returned) I'll only play him on ITFs and LGTFs to tank and when I have a kin, because I don't wanna waste 1 billion to offset Granite's penalties and still be underwhelmed (I did a lot of solo missions on invincible in Cimerora outside of Granite to test his damage potential without drawbacks).

    Elec is good at AoE and some mitigation, and that's it. Check out 'the results are in part 2' thread for ST damage comparison on SO builds. IIRC only Spines loses to Elec in ST damage.

    That's why I'm now playing an ELM stalker - you get A. Strike. L.Rod doesn't unhide you and you can crit after that with AS or Thunderstrike. And I want to like ELM on some toon because it's so pretty.

    Don't worry about lining up mobs everytime for J. Ladder, you'll get better with practice. I'm very used to Shadow Maul so for me it's okay, but it's a decent ST attack on its own. Or maybe you'll like the C. Brawl-H. Punch combo better.

    Yeah, Nihili's right, I didn't notice the endmod proc, not useful on PSink. But since you have tactics the kismet isn't a must have, still good if you have the spare slot.

    Take a look at this (that's the order i'd choose the powers, and I kept your weave and maneuvers slotting, I don't like them because of too much end usage, but you have PSink anyway), better ranged def (considering the incoming BoTZ nerf), more HP, and if you wanna sacrifice ranged you can almost cap melee by swapping Chain Induction's Mako with a ToD set. Oh, better recharge too
