Does my Claws/Ninjitsu suck?

I'm burning some old freespecs before i17 hits and I'm currently rebuilding my Claws/Nin Stalker.

My goal is for him to be good, real good even, but I don't play him enough to get him the most exotic loot.

This is for pure PvE.

What I came up with is soft capped for Melee and Range Def. Recharge is 53% and Endurance numbers look decent. I'm basically satisfied but if anyone has any suggestions to improve inexpensively then I'd love to get your feedback.

I did gimp Shockwave, but that was the price of pursuing some of the bonuses I went for.

The most angst I had was my level 49 pick, where I chose Shadow Meld over Kuji-In Retsu. With my Def bonuses, I don't expect to use either but I went with SM due to its faster recharge.

If you're looking to soft cap, you're a bit shy in the AoE department. Mids gives you the unsuppressed numbers on Hide, which drop drastically after you attack. Shockwave is something of a waste of a power pick without its slotting and Shadow Meld is largely useless on that build, as you said. An alternative that would probably be of more benefit to you is drop either one of those and pick up Assault and possibly Tactics (which would greatly offset ToD's low Acc numbers).

Man Focus is so late, are you never exemplaring?

Tried a build, I suck at AoE def. It's at 42.5%, other are capped, HP is capped with accos too, 65% rech, but I didn't gimp Shockwave and put the -res proc in Slash . I don't think it's more expensive than your build.

Thanks for feedback, especially to Kioshi for taking the time to edit my build. Using that, I made some further tweaks that did soft-cap me to all positions. I can't post the build now (I'm at work) but basically I substituted the Leadership pool for Fighting, slotted Aegis in Tough and took Weave and am comfortably soft-capped. Maybe I'll throw in the +6 To-Hit IO to make up for not taking Tactics.

Glad to help. You're right, Tough/Weave should make this easier, I just never take this pool on my Stalkers lol. My EM/Nin isn't softcapped to AoE, probably because of that
